Blowing system with expandable functions, expansion device, and operating method
The disclosure is related to a blowing apparatus with expandable functions, an expansion device, and an operating method. The blowing apparatus has an electrical interface used to connect one of the expansion devices with various functions. The blowing apparatus has a control unit used to identify an operating mode of the expansion device connected with the blowing apparatus. A control signal is therefore generated. According to the control signal, the control unit controls rotating speed of a fan unit and a heating temperature of a heating unit. The expansion device can be disposed with a mist unit having a container and a mist generating unit. The mist unit sprays the mist to an outlet cap of the expansion device. The blowing apparatus then blows the mist out of the outlet cap by means of the rotating speed of fan unit and the temperature of heating unit.
Skin care applicator
An applicator for use with a skin care composition, comprising a magnetic element disposed inside the applicator and a cover that at least partially covers the magnetic element. The cover has a thickness of between 0.1 mm and 0.55 mm and is formed of a material having a thermal conductivity of at least 50 W/mK.
Magnetic cosmetics applicator
A cosmetics applicator made of plastic and having a bristle carrier and having bristles integrally bonded therewith as a single part, whereas the bristle carrier being a permanent magnet while the bristles as such are non-magnetic, characterized in that the bristle carrier comprises a core made of a first plastic filled with magnetic particles and forming an interface at least at the outer circumference thereof, said interface being enclosed by a layer of a second, non-magnetic plastic, wherein the first and the second plastic are preferably welded to each other and the second plastic is preferably harder than the first plastic, and wherein the second plastic is integrally connected to the bristles as a single piece.
GENERATING A GUIDANCE INDICATOR AND INDICATOR SIGNAL
According to an aspect, there is provided a method comprising generating (202) a guidance indicator relating to a portion of a user; determining (204) a position of a portion of a portable device relative to the portion of the user; and generating (208) an indication signal when it is determined that at least a portion of the portable device is in a defined position relative to the guidance indicator. According to other aspects, apparatus and a machine readable medium are provided.
COSMETIC APPLICATOR WITH HEAT TRANSFER COMPONENT
A cosmetic package for applying a composition including a cosmetic, care or pharmaceutical composition onto the keratinous substrate such as skin, lips, under eyes, eyelids, cheeks, or any other part of the body. The cosmetic package comprises a cosmetic container and a cosmetic dropper coupled to the cosmetic container. The cosmetic dropper further comprises an applicator member, a bulb portion, a cap and a pipe. Actuation of the bulb portion displaces the composition from the interior of the pipe onto the applicator member. The applicator member is formed from an elastic material and flexes relative to the pipe.
Devices and methods for treating skin tissue using cold plasma
Disclosed herein is a system for treating skin and/or nails with cold plasma. The system includes a discharge device, which includes a handle and an applicator mounted thereon, and control infrastructure, which includes a waveform generator. The applicator includes an elongated tube housing therein a cathode. The handle includes a flyback amplifier. The waveform generator is configured to induce the flyback amplifier to establish a voltage at the cathode. The voltage produced by the flyback amplifier is configured to allow generating a self-sustaining Townsend avalanche when a distal end of the tube is positioned sufficiently near a target site on a skin surface or a nail of a subject, such as to produce a cold plasma discharge directed at the target site and having an average power between about 0.1 ?W and about 10 ?W, so that the target site is not heated.
APPLIANCE FOR TREATING HUMAN KERATIN MATERIALS
An appliance for treating human keratin materials, includes a treatment head and a handle for holding the appliance in one hand in order to apply the head to the human keratin materials, notably the skin, the appliance having a housing for holding a refill containing a product to be applied, the handle and the treatment head forming an elbow, the housing being oriented substantially in line with the treatment head and open in an opposite direction to the treatment head, the refill being arranged so as to be actuated by the user in order to dispense a metered quantity of product.
Application head for a product, in particular skin care, comprising an applicator ball held by a magnet
An application head for a product includes a body that is substantially of revolution and has at its front axial end a hollow spherical surface forming a housing that receives a magnetizable applicator ball with a tight fit, said applicator ball being held by a magnet, this body being intended to hold the product on its inside, wherein the body comprises a chamber located along the passage of the product coming from the inside of this body so as to lead into the housing, this chamber containing a magnetized or non-magnetized valve held on its inside, which can slide through a short axial travel while remaining stuck to the applicator ball, so as to close the passage in the rear position and to open this passage in the front position.
Assembly for dispensing and applying a fluid product
A fluid dispenser and applicator assembly having a reception body, a fluid applicator surface for coming into contact with a target, such as the skin; and a fluid dispenser having a reservoir, a pump, and a dispenser endpiece that defines an outlet surface and a fluid dispenser orifice. The dispenser is received in the reception body with its dispenser endpiece being received in a housing, its outlet surface forming a portion of the applicator surface, such that the dispenser orifice opens out directly in the applicator surface.
Shear-induced dermal infusion
Treatment protocols for preparing a subject's skin to receive skin formulations having one or more active materials are provided. The devices and/or methods for carrying out the treatment protocols aim to increase the skin's ability for skin formulations to penetrate or infuse into the SC layers thereof. The treatment protocol includes the application of shearing forces in order to part, tear, or form fissures only in the Stratum Corneum (SC) of the subject's skin without inducing trauma in viable skin layers below the SC. After application of shearing forces to the skin, a skin formulation can be applied to the sheared areas of skin.
