Automated intravenous fluid container delivery device and system
An IV product transport device is configured to transport an IV product from one location to another in automated fashion. The transport device may comprise a chassis with one or more ports for IV products. A drive mechanism is configured to move the transport device. In one embodiment, the transport device includes a controller. Information may be provided to the controller about an IV product, such as its intended destination or use. The controller may also exchange information with a delivery device, such as an infusion pump, to verify that the IV product is delivered to the proper destination. The transport device may include a delivery mechanism for off-loading an IV product. The transport device may deliver IV products of various configurations, including one in which the product comprises a flexible bag and a container housing for supporting and protecting the fluid bag.
MEDICINE INFUSION APPARATUS INCLUDING THERMOELECTRIC MODULE
Provided is a medicine infusion apparatus capable of infusing a liquid medicine into a human body by using a medicine container configured to discharge the liquid medicine contained therein, along a designated path when a pressure is applied from outside, the medicine infusion apparatus including one or more medicine pressing units including one or more inflatable parts capable of being inflated by air to apply a pressure to the medicine container, a first pumping unit capable of inflating one of the inflatable parts by including a first pump capable of generating air of a preset pressure, and a first pipe connectable to the one of the inflatable parts, and a heating unit including a thermoelectric module capable of heating the medicine within a preset temperature range. According to the present invention, the medicine infusion apparatus may be produced as a compact portable apparatus by using a low-capacity battery and be used for emergencies at accident sites where electricity may not be easily supplied.
AIR-POWERED PERITONEAL DIALYSIS SYSTEM WITH NESTING CONTAINERS
A peritoneal dialysis system comprises a cycler including an air pump; a heater housing including a heater and an expandable bladder in fluid communication with the air pump, wherein the heater housing is sized to receive a heater bag between a wall of the housing and the expandable bladder; a plurality of nesting containers configured for fluid communication with the air pump a disposable set operable with the cycler and including the heater bag and a plurality of fluid supply bags for placement within the plurality of nesting containers; and a control unit programmed to control the air pump and the heater.
Fluid delivery device
A substance delivery device is disclosed. The substance delivery device includes a lever that includes a drive arm that is rotatable about a pivot. The substance delivery device also includes a pump that has a deformable chamber. The deformable chamber is configured to rotate the drive arm about the pivot towards a container so as to deform the container to drive a fluid substance from the container.
