CONTINUOUS AND CONTROLLED IRRIGATION SYSTEM
An irrigation system for providing a continuous and controlled flow of a fluid, wherein said irrigation system may include a reservoir system comprising a plurality of containers of fluid; and a fluid transfer system in fluid connection with said reservoir system, said fluid transfer system comprising at least one fluid transfer head.
Intravenous Fluid Monitoring System
An intravenous (IV) fluid monitoring system includes a sensing element, a user locator device, a location server, and an analytics server. The sensing element senses weight of an IV bag and transmits weight data and a first ID signal corresponding to the IV bag. The user locator device transmits a second ID signal corresponding to a user. The location server stores and periodically updates sets of ID data and locations of a set of users and a plurality of IV bags. The analytics server stores and periodically updates a set of weight data of the plurality of IV bags. The analytics server implements a machine learning algorithm to determine a threshold weight and a threshold rate of flow of the IV fluid in the IV bag and transmits a notification signal to a user who is nearest to the IV bag that needs attention.
Fluid transfer devices and methods of use
Fluid transfer systems are disclosed that can be configured to transfer precise amounts of fluid from a source container to a target container. The fluid transfer system can have multiple fluid transfer stations for transferring fluids into multiple target containers or for combining different types of fluids into a single target container to form a mixture. The fluid transfer system can include a pump and a destination sensor, such as a weight sensor. The fluid transfer system can be configured to flush remaining fluid out of a connector to reduce waste, using air or a flushing fluid.
Method for determining the empty state of an IV bottle in an IV infusion monitoring device
A method for determining the empty state of an IV bottle is provided in an IV infusion monitoring device or in a networking monitoring system, which is cable to monitor the infusion data during whole infusion process. The infusion data includes the weight of remaining medical liquid in the IV bottle, the infusion rate and the remaining time from completion as well as the empty state. It also gives alarm as the measured gross weight of the IV bottle drops to the empty state. The empty state is determined preferably in terms of necking effect and needle tip effect, or their combination.
DEVICE FOR THE DOSED DISPENSING OF AN INFUSION FLUID
The invention relates to a device for the dosed dispensing of an infusion fluid, in particular for administering an infusion for a patient, comprising a fluid vessel for accommodating the infusion fluid, and comprising an infusion line which is arranged between the fluid vessel and a patient access during the use of the device, wherein the fluid vessel and the infusion line are connected to one another, and the infusion line is designed such that at least a sub-section of the infusion line has a predefined inner diameter and a predefined length, such that the amount of infusion fluid accommodated in the fluid vessel is dispensed to the patient access over a predetermined time period in a manner dependent on a predefined height at which the fluid vessel is arranged above the patient access.
RELOCATION MODULE AND METHODS FOR SURGICAL EQUIPMENT
Module for housing electronic and electromechanical medical equipment including a portable digital camera and processing circuitry with machine vision and machine learning software for automatically documenting healthcare events and healthcare equipment operations in the electronic health record.
BLOOD PURIFICATION APPARATUS
The present teachings provide a blood purification apparatus in which inadvertent replacement of a container bag attached to a hanger portion can be avoided the blood purification apparatus including a holding device capable of holding a container bag that contains a liquid for blood purification treatment, such as dialysate, substitution fluid, or anticoagulant, the blood purification apparatus being capable of performing blood purification treatment using the liquid in the container bag, and the holding device including a hanger portion including an attachment portion to which the container bag can be attached, and movable between a use position and a replacement position, a measuring device capable of measuring the weight of the container bag held by the hanger portion, and a restricting device that restricts attachment and detachment of the container bag to and from the attachment portion when the hanger portion is in the use position.
FLUID MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS AND METHODS
Systems, devices, and methods for fluid management in an endoscopic procedure are disclosed. In one embodiment, a fluid management device may comprise a pair of electrodes and a controller connected to the pair of electrodes. In at least some embodiments, the controller may be configured to receive signals from the pair of electrodes and determine whether a fluid in a fluid reservoir is an ionic fluid or a non-ionic fluid based on signals received from the pair of electrodes. In at least some additional embodiments, the controller may be further configured to automatically set a fluid deficit alarm threshold based on the determination of whether the fluid in the fluid reservoir is an ionic fluid or a non-ionic fluid.
SELF-ADJUSTING IV STAND
IV stand assemblies are provided that include a base, a stand including an internal channel and multiple retainer channels, a pulley/belt assembly disposed within the internal channel having multiple pulleys and belts, each belt coupled to a separate pulley. Multiple retainers are disposed in of the retainer channels and coupled to one of the plurality of belts, respectively. A drive is coupled to each of the belts and for each belt the drive is configured to move the belt relative to the coupled pulley to cause a corresponding retainer to move along a corresponding retainer channel, wherein each of the retainers is separately moveable. Other IV stand assemblies and methods of operating IV assemblies are also provided.
