Prefilled container systems
A syringe assembly may include a plunger having a stopper. A barrel may be configured to receive the plunger at an open first end. A tip cap may be removably attached to the second end and may form a chamber within the barrel between the plunger and tip cap. The chamber may be configured to contain a sterilization sensitive material. The barrel may be formed of a plastic material having a high barrier property configured to create a barrier between the sterilization sensitive material and gases produced for sterilization purposes such that the sterilization sensitive material remains unchanged during a sterilization procedure.
DRUG SYRINGES WITH A MECHANICAL STOP FOR A SECOND DOSE
Various exemplary drug syringes with a mechanical stop for a second dose, drug products utilizing the same, and methods of using drug syringes with a mechanical stop for a second dose are provided. In general, a nasal drug delivery device is configured to dispense therefrom first and second doses of a drug therefrom into a nose. The drug delivery device includes a mechanical stop configured to provide a pause between the delivery of the first and second doses. During the pause, a user of the drug delivery device can move the drug delivery device from one nostril, into which the first dose was sprayed, to another nostril, into which the second dose can be sprayed. The mechanical stop is configured to hold the drug delivery device in a static delivery state.
MECHANISM FOR MEDICAMENT DELIVERY DEVICE, AND MEDICAMENT DELIVERY DEVICE COMPRISING MECHANISM
A mechanism is disclosed having an actuating element, a longitudinal axis, a plunger having at least one first blocking feature and at least one second blocking feature, a plunger force device, a blocking structure rotatable about the longitudinal axis from a first blocking structure position, in which one of the at least one first blocking feature is allowed to pass by the blocking structure and one of the at least one second blocking feature is prevented from passing by the blocking structure, and a second blocking structure position, in which one of the at least one second blocking feature is allowed to pass by the blocking structure, and a transmission configured to transmit a transition of the actuating element between a ready state and a dosing state to a rotation of the blocking structure from the first blocking structure position to the second blocking structure position.
Controlled dispense syringe
A syringe is described with a plunger assembly that is adapted to have a dispensing stroke sized to dispense a fluid therapeutic product from the syringe without dispensing any air or headspace. The syringe includes a plunger rod having a stop feature that stops a dispensing stroke of the plunger rod at a distance corresponding to a level of air or headspace within the syringe avoiding additional air dispensing steps from a healthcare provider.
Syringe and method for assembling it
A syringe comprising: a body delimiting a chamber; a piston able to slide in the chamber of the body along a longitudinal axis of the syringe, wherein the piston comprises a rod, a head, and a finger rest, which are all in one piece; and a deformable retention device designed to prevent the piston from leaving the body entirely, wherein the retention device is force-fitted in the chamber, extends around the piston over an angular sector strictly greater than 180° when it is in the assembled position, and has protruding external ribs which extend parallel to the longitudinal axis and are plastically deformable when the retention device is assembled in the chamber.
INJECTION DEVICE AND INJECTION SOLUTION TRANSFERRING SYSTEM
An injection device (10) comprises an injection solution receptacle (30) and a plunger (70) at feast a portion of which is slidably received in the injection solution receptacle (30), wherein the plunger (70) is displaceable relative to the injection solution receptacle (30) in a distal direction in order to expel an injection solution contained in the injection solution receptacle (30) from the injection solution receptacle (30). A first plunger stop mechanism (140) is adapted to stop a displacement of the plunger (70) relative to the injection solution receptacle (30) in the distal direction at a first dosing position (P1). A second plunger stop mechanism (140) is adapted to stop a displacement of the plunger (70) relative to the injection solution receptacle (30) from the first: dosing position (P1) in the distal direction at a second dosing position (P2), wherein the first and the second dosing position (P2) of the plunger (70) are selected in such a manner that the plunger (70), upon being displaced relative to the injection solution receptacle (30) between the first and the second dosing position (P2) is adapted to expel a desired dose of the injection solution contained in the injection solution receptacle (30) from the injection solution receptacle (30).
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MICRODOSE INJECTION
In one embodiment, a system for injecting includes a syringe body having proximal and distal ends, a syringe interior, and a syringe flange at the proximal end thereof. The system also includes an injectable fluid disposed in the syringe interior. The system further includes a stopper member disposed in the syringe interior. Moreover, the system includes a plunger member coupled to the stopper member. In addition, the system includes a finger flange removably coupled to the syringe flange, the finger flange including a proximally directed screw. The system also includes a rotatable member disposed on the proximally directed screw, the rotatable member defining a rotatable member opening through which the plunger member is disposed and having an elastic latch disposed adjacent the rotatable member opening.
LOCKABLE SYRINGE FOR SAFELY DISPENSING A DRUG
A lockable syringe, which includes a syringe body having a longitudinal axis and including a distal end and a proximal end, and a locking mechanism, wherein the locking mechanism is configured to be attached to the proximal end of the syringe body. The locking mechanism includes: a plunger having at least one distal plate, and a rod with visual elements for marking an unlock position; and a locking ring which is free in its rotation about the longitudinal axis of the syringe body, the locking ring has at least two visual indicators on its outer surface, and the locking ring has elements for blocking the plunger stroke in a locked position.
