INJECTION NEEDLE INSERTION MECHANISM FOR INJECTOR
An injector includes a needle movable from a retracted position to an injection position. A rotary biasing assembly is stabilized in a stored energy state and releasable into an energy releasing state and includes a cam. A cam follower couples the rotary biasing assembly with the needle and is configured to transform rotation of the rotary biasing assembly in the energy releasing state thereof into translation of the needle from the retracted position to the injection position. An activation switch is rotatable from an unactivated position, stabilizing the rotary biasing assembly in the stored energy state thereof, to an activated position, releasing the rotary biasing assembly into the energy releasing state thereof. An activation button is movably mounted to the injector housing and is translatable from an unactuated position to an actuated position, whereby the translation rotates the activation switch from the unactivated position to the activated position thereof.
DOSING DEVICE
Dosing device (1) for the dosage of blood compounds, medical treatments or other substances, comprising a stepped body (9) in a plunger (3) and a presser mechanism (17) in the tube (2) of a syringe. The projection (19) from the pusher (18) of the presser mechanism (17) transmits a downwards force (F) exerted by the user, onto the step (12) of the stepped body (9) by pushing it down a distance (x) with the plunger (3). In this way, the dosing device (1) can measure an exact dose of the compound manually, quickly and easily without the need for additional measurements.
Assisted Injection Device for Injecting a Composition Contained in a Medical Container with Reduced Efforts
The present disclosure relates to an assisted injection device for injecting a composition contained in a medical container. The injection device includes a body adapted to receive a medical container in a fixed position relative to the body. The injection device includes a spring-loaded piston rod translationally movable inside the body between a proximal rest position allowing inserting of the medical container in the body and a distal operative position wherein the piston rod engages a stopper of the medical container and pushes the stopper in the medical container. The injection device includes a blocking system comprising a locking member mounted on the body and configured to engage the piston rod. The piston rod includes a proximal end extending out of the body and configured to be pushed by the user in a distal direction to accelerate the movement of the piston rod to the distal operative position.
Assisted Injection Device for Selectively Injecting a Composition Contained in a Medical Container
The present disclosure relates to an assisted injection device for injecting a composition contained in a medical container. The injection device includes a main body adapted to receive a medical container in a fixed position relative to the main body. The main body includes an inner wall part and a second part. The first part includes an inner spring-loaded piston rod, and an outer piston body extending coaxially around the inner spring-loaded piston rod. The second part is arranged between the inner spring-loaded piston rod and the outer piston body, and is provided of the piston. The actuator is adapted to selectively move the second part between the proximal first portion and the distal second position.
Assisted Injection Device for Injecting a Composition Contained in a Medical Container
The present disclosure relates to an assisted injection device for injecting a composition contained in a medical container. The injection device includes a body configured to receive the medical container in a fixed position relative to the body. The injection device includes a spring-loaded piston rod translationally movable inside the body along a spring axis. The injection device includes a lever pivotably mounted on the body about a first pivot axis orthogonal to the spring axis at a first distance form the spring axis. The injection device includes a selective blocking system coupled to the lever by a second pivot axis orthogonal to the spring axis. The lever is pivotable between a rest position. The selective blocking system engages the piston rod to prevent any translation movement of the piston rod and a second position wherein the selective blocking system releases the piston rod.

ASSEMBLY FOR A MEDICATION DELIVERY DEVICE AND MEDICATION DELIVERY DEVICE
An assembly for a medication delivery device includes a body, a piston rod, rotatable with respect to the body, for setting a dose of a medication, and axially movable in a distal direction for delivering the set dose, wherein, in cross-section, the piston rod includes a plurality of ratchet teeth to enable rotation of the piston rod during setting of a dose, and a stop member secured against axial and rotational movement, wherein the stop member mechanically cooperates with the piston rod, wherein, when setting the dose, the piston rod becomes aligned with the stop member, and wherein, when delivering the set dose, the piston rod is moved in the distal direction towards the stop member such that the piston rod and the stop member abut at the end of the dose delivery operation and further distal movement of the piston rod is prevented after dose delivery.
Drive train for dial of a torsion-spring assisted wind-up injection device
A drive train for a wind-up injection device is described. The drive train includes a torsional energy storage adapted to be loaded or unloaded by a rotatable element, a rotatable user handle, a rotationally driveable expelling mechanism adapted to expel the liquid drug, and a clutch element coupled with the torsional energy storage via the rotatable element and including a ratchet for maintaining the rotatable element at one of a number of discrete angular positions against the torque of the torsional energy storage. The clutch element is adapted to transmit the torque from the user handle to the torsional energy storage, or alternatively from the torsional energy storage to the expelling mechanism. The ratchet is switchable from one position to an adjacent position by a torque transmitted from the user handle to the torsional energy storage. The drive train is adapted to dampen torque peaks visco-elastically and/or visco-frictionally.
