LIQUID MEDICAMENT ADMINISTRATION DEVICE

A liquid medicament administration device includes a body configured to contain and support a medicament container. The body includes an aperture. The aperture includes a viewing window that is coincident with the medicament container when the medicament container is present. The device is configured such that the viewing window is size-adjustable. Also disclosed are associated methods of manufacture.

Multiple Dosage Injector

A medicament dispensing mechanism is disclosed that is configured to eject successive doses of the medicament from a medicament chamber. An embodiment of the dispensing mechanism includes a housing and a plunger rod configured for ejecting the doses of medicament from the chamber. The dispensing mechanism further includes an actuation mechanism that comprises a trigger associated with the housing and having a ready and a fired position with respect thereto. The trigger is configured for manipulation by a user for successive movement in a generally axial dosing motion from the ready position to the fired position in which the trigger is associated with the plunger rod to cause the plunger rod to eject one of the doses of a predetermined volume and a resetting motion from the fired position to the ready position that comprises axial rotation, wherein the trigger is uncoupled from the plunger rod during the resetting motion.

Drug delivery device with anti-counterfeit features

A drive assembly for a drug delivery device includes a housing; a number sleeve threadedly engaged with the housing; a dial link rotatably fixed with the number sleeve in a first axial arrangement relative to each other, the number sleeve being rotatable relative to the dial link in a second axial arrangement; a clutch component connected to an inner proximal section of the number sleeve through multiple flexible assembly fingers. The clutch component can engage the number sleeve with the dial link in the first axial arrangement and disengage the number sleeve from the dial link in the second axial arrangement. The drive assembly includes means for preventing an access to the flexible assembly fingers from the outer proximal section of the number sleeve and/or the flexible assembly fingers from flexing inwardly and disengaging from the connection with the inner proximal section.

20190091409 · 2019-03-28 · ·

Sensing systems are disclosed for determining the relative rotational movements of members of a medication delivery device which are proportional to the amount of a dose set and delivered by the medication delivery device. The sensing system comprises a first sensor component secured to a first member and a second sensor component secured to a second member. During dose setting, the second member is coupled to a third member which rotates relative to the first member in proportion to the dose set. During dose delivery, the second member is coupled to a fourth member which rotates relative to the first member in proportion to the dose delivered. The sensing system separately detects the relative rotational positions of the first and second sensor components during dose setting and dose delivery, and provides outputs used to determine the amounts of the set and delivered doses. The sensing system outputs this information to a controller which determines the amount of the dose set and delivered. Related medication delivery devices and methods are also disclosed.
