Drive subassembly for a drug delivery device
The present disclosure relates to a drive subassembly for a drug delivery device, the drive subassembly comprising a proximal housing part comprising a body portion and a closure portion configured as separate parts adapted to be coupled to each other, the closure portion comprising an end face and a guide rod extending from the end face in a distal direction, the guide rod adapted to be inserted into a drive spring; and a plunger, wherein the body portion comprises a profiled slot adapted to engage a plunger boss of the plunger to impede movement of the plunger in the distal direction unless the plunger is rotated to move the plunger boss out of the profiled slot. The disclosure furthermore relates to a proximal housing part for a drug delivery device, to a method for assembling the drive subassembly and to a method for assembling the drug delivery device.
Rotary valve pump for automatic drug compounder
Various aspects of the subject disclosure relate to a compounder system having a cartridge that includes controllable fluid pathways. One or more rotary piston pump/valves may be used to move fluid and/or gasses through the various fluid pathways of the cartridge. For example, the cartridge may include a dedicated rotary piston pump/valve for each process that moves fluid and/or gas through the cartridge. When turning, the rotary piston pump/valve acts as a pump to move the fluid or gas, and when the rotary piston pump/valve stops turning, it effectively acts as a shutoff valve, preventing any fluid flow. Magnetic couplers for the cartridge may be provided on a pump head of the compounder system.
INJECTION DEVICE
Injection device (2) comprising a housing (3), a syringe cradle (12) for removably receiving a syringe (1) having a needle (7), a container (10) with a flange (11), a plunger (9) and a removable needle cap (8) in the housing, and a system for performing automated injection comprising: —a cap actuation mechanism (4) for gripping, storing and retrieving the needle cap, —a syringe actuation mechanism (5) for moving the syringe in an injection direction (Id) from a position where the needle is inside the housing to an injection position where the needle projects out of a needle port of the housing on a skin contact face of the housing, and —a plunger actuation mechanism (6) for advancing the plunger for administration of the liquid drug.

INJECTOR
An injector comprises a medicament container, an injection module and a driving mechanism. The injection module comprises a conversion mechanism and a needle output mechanism connected to each other. The conversion mechanism is assembled and connected to the medicament container. A driving piston set in the conversion mechanism is assembled and connected to the driving mechanism. A needle set in the needle output mechanism is used for piercing a human body. The driving mechanism drives the driving piston set to convey a medicament liquid in the medicament container to the needle set for injection, such that the medicament container and the injection module, which are related to safety and hygiene, are of single use and are disassembled and discarded after being used. The conversion mechanism is externally connected to the driving mechanism, so that the driving mechanism does not contact the injection medicament liquid during injection and can be reused, thereby reducing material waste.
Valve Assembly for Drug Delivery Device
A valve assembly for a drug delivery device includes a valve housing, a cannula having a first end and a second end positioned opposite the first end, a valve boot connected to the valve housing and defining an interior space, a valve sleeve defining a cannula space, with the valve sleeve configured to move from a pre-use position where the first end of the cannula is received within the cannula space to a use position where the first end of the cannula extends outside of the valve sleeve and the cannula space, and a piercing member having a body with a piercing tip. The body of the piercing member has a first end and a second end positioned opposite the first end, with the piercing member engaged with the valve sleeve.
Mixing and/or reconstitution system
Systems and methods for mixing and/or reconstituting drugs are presented. A system may include an injection device, a vial, a needle, and a base station. The device has a chamber containing a first material. The vial has a chamber containing a second material. A drive unit of the base station moves the vial and/or the housing of the device relative to each other into an activated position. In the activated position, the needle is fluidly connected with the vial's chamber, and the drive unit is connected to a driver that moves the plunger in the axial direction of the device such that during fluid connection of the needle with the vial's chamber the first material is expelled from the device's chamber into the vial's chamber or the second material is expelled from the vial's chamber into the device's chamber.
DRUG DELIVERY DEVICE ASSEMBLY AND ACCESSORY FOR DRUG DELIVERY DEVICE
A drug delivery device assembly is provided, including an injector housing, a needle assembly, a drive assembly, and a reflective surface. The injector housing may include a body with a proximal end, a distal end, a longitudinal axis extending between the proximal end and the distal end, and at least one window. The needle assembly is at least partially disposed within the body and may include a syringe barrel containing a medicament and a needle or a cannula, wherein at least a portion of the syringe barrel positioned such as to be visible through the at least one window. The drive assembly is at least partially disposed within the body and operably coupled with the needle assembly to urge the medicament through the needle or cannula during an injection sequence. The reflective surface is positioned with respect to the window such as to increase visibility of the syringe barrel.
Medication delivery device
A medication delivery device and/or dosing mechanisms suitable for use in medication delivery devices, in particular in pen-type injectors, preferably having a dose setting system and a drive device enabling the administration of a medicinal product from a single- or multi-dose medication cartridge.
DRUG DELIVERY DEVICE AND METHODS HAVING A RETAINING MEMBER
Various embodiments of a device, a kit and method for delivering a drug depot are disclosed. The device comprises a housing including a lower body, an upper body, a ring member; and a drug cartridge. The lower body defines a lower body channel. The upper body defines an upper body channel. The drug cartridge defines a depot channel. The ring member is disposed extending upward from an annular step surface of the lower body toward a housing upper end. The ring member includes indicia indicating a characteristic of one or more drug depots in the drug cartridge. A plunger has a push rod for expelling the drug depot through the cannula to a site in the patient. A kit comprises the above components. A method includes assembling the components including, selecting a ring member having indicia corresponding to one or more drug depots in the drug cartridge.
