Mixing and/or reconstitution system

Systems and methods for mixing and/or reconstituting drugs are presented. A system may include an injection device, a vial, a needle, and a base station. The device has a chamber containing a first material. The vial has a chamber containing a second material. A drive unit of the base station moves the vial and/or the housing of the device relative to each other into an activated position. In the activated position, the needle is fluidly connected with the vial's chamber, and the drive unit is connected to a driver that moves the plunger in the axial direction of the device such that during fluid connection of the needle with the vial's chamber the first material is expelled from the device's chamber into the vial's chamber or the second material is expelled from the vial's chamber into the device's chamber.

The housing, hypodermic needle, and sample chamber are also arranged such that when the stopper is moved to a second depth within the housing exceeding the first depth, the injectant chamber is configured to dispense the injectant through the hypodermic needle.

Methods and devices for autoflush syringes

Described herein are syringe devices, systems and methods. In general, the syringe may include a first chamber and a cartridge movable within the first chamber. The cartridge may include a cartridge chamber and a valve in fluid communication with the cartridge chamber and the first chamber and having an open configuration and a closed configuration. The valve may allow movement of a liquid out of the cartridge chamber while in a open configuration. The cartridge may also include a second end, movable within the cartridge chamber, and a locking mechanism having a locked configuration and an unlocked configuration, the locking mechanism preventing movement of the second end within the cartridge chamber while in the locked configuration.

PACKAGING AND DEVICES FOR MIXING MEDICAMENT SUBSTANCES
20220203033 · 2022-06-30 ·

A device (200) for mixing first and second substances. The device comprises a first container (100) for storage of the first substance and a second container (150) received in the first container (100) and for storage of the second substance. An outlet (112) is disposed at the distal end of the first container (100). Valve means (180) are provided for closing a distal end of the second container (150) and a proximal end of the first container (100). A stopper means (166) closes a proximal end of the second chamber (152) and is movable with respect to the second container (150). An operating mechanism drives relative movement between the first and second containers for causing displacement of the second substance into the first chamber (102) through the valve means (180) when the outlet (112) is closed, for mixing the first and second substances in a mixing stroke of the device.

Syringe apparatus for stirring and delivering composition containing cells

A syringe apparatus is provided for stirring and delivering single or multi-component compositions. The syringe apparatus comprises a syringe barrel, a plunger, a stirring paddle, and a connecting member. The plunger partially disposed within the syringe barrel is movable along an axial direction of the syringe barrel. The stirring paddle disposed within the syringe barrel has one end passing through the plunger and slidably disposed within the plunger. The syringe apparatus of the disclosure can stir the components and deliver the mixture safely for maintaining a good hygiene condition during the therapeutic process.

Metering container for metering viscous material components

The present invention relates to a metering container (100-1, 100-2) for metering a viscous material component (103-1, 103-2), comprising a piston (105-1, 105-2) for pressing the material component (103-1, 103-2) from a storage container (111-1, 111-2) into a metering chamber (107-1, 107-2); and a metering plunger (109-1, 109-2) for indicating a quantity of the material component (103-1, 103-2) in the metering chamber (107-1, 107-2), via which the material component (103-1, 103-2) can be dispensed from the metering chamber (107-1, 107-2).

Buffering Agent Cartridge
20220105003 · 2022-04-07 ·

A cartridge for dispensing a pre-measured buffering agent together with a medical fluid such as dental anesthetic. The cartridge includes a sharp piercing element at one end, a frangible barrier proximate the piercing element, and a traveling closure. The buffering solution is in a chamber between the barrier and the closure. When loaded into a syringe and subjected to operating pressures, the barrier is pierced, enabling the buffering solution to mix with the medical fluid. Continued pressure propels a desired, controlled mixture into a tissue of a patient. A dye may be included for visual confirmation of mixing. The invention may be regarded as the cartridge, a syringe having the cartridge, or a kit, with or without a syringe, or cartridges having closures of different types.
