PUSH-AND-SEPARATE SAFETY SYRINGE
A safety syringe includes a barrel, a plunger, a socket, a connector and a needle. The plunger is inserted in the barrel. The connector is inserted in the socket. The needle is connected to the connector. The socket includes a conical internal face in contact with a conical external face of the connector, an annular internal rib inserted in an annular external groove of the connector, and an annular internal groove for receiving an anchoring ring of the connector, thus retaining the connector in the socket. The plunger is movable backward to draw medicine into the barrel via the needle. The plunger is movable forward to extrude the medicine from the barrel via the needle. As the plunger is in contact with the anchoring ring, a larger force can be used to push the connector and the needle further forward from the socket to detach the needle from the socket.
GRIPS FOR INJECTOR TESTING SYSTEMS
An example injection needle positioner includes: a first grip comprising a first grip face on a first lateral side of the first grip; and a second grip, comprising: a second grip face on a first lateral side of the second grip, the second grip face facing the first grip face, the second grip face comprising: a first section that extends from a first end of the second grip and comprises a first profile configured to align an injector; and a second section located toward a second end of the first grip, relative to the first section, and having a second profile configured to securably grip the injector in cooperation with the first grip face.
SAFETY DEVICE FOR A SYRINGE
A safety device for a syringe including a connector which can be coupled to a syringe, a main body provided with a cavity and which can be coupled to the connector so as to extend above it and a needle body for supporting and housing a needle or cannula, the needle body longitudinally extending in the connector and in the main body. The device further includes a push element which can be coupled to a distal end of the needle body and movable inside the connector by action of an axial thrust of a plunger of the syringe, and a needle support which can be coupled to the needle body and is operable by the push element between a locked position of the needle body, wherein the needle support is interposed between the connector and the needle body, and an unlocked position of the needle body.
Housing Device for Receiving an Injection Device, and Injector Including Said Housing Device and Injection Device
This housing device includes a bottom body extending a longitudinal axis A, the bottom body being configured for receiving an injection device having an injection needle, a casing, a medical container arranged within the casing, and a needle guard axially movable with respect to the casing. The housing device also includes a top body, axially movable with respect to the bottom body between an initial position and an injection end position distally located with respect to the initial position, the top body including a proximal end and a plunger rod configured for pushing a stopper of the injection device in order to expel a medical product contained within the medical container; releasable attachment features for allowing releasable attachment and detachment of the top body and the bottom body; and a needle cover, axially movable with respect to the bottom body between an initial position and a retracted position proximally located with respect to the initial position.
SAFETY SYRINGE CAPABLE OF BEING USED FOR NEEDLE-FREE DOSING INJECTION
A safety syringe includes a needle seat, an adapter disposed on the needle seat, and an injection barrel penetrated into the needle seat and the adapter. When an outer sleeve is located at a first position, a first annular rib of the outer sleeve is engaged with a flange of the adapter, such that the needle seat protrudes from the front end of the outer sleeve. A push rod penetrated into the injection barrel is used to take in and expel liquid medicine. When the outer sleeve is located at a second position, the outer sleeve accommodates the needle seat and the adapter therein and pushes against the flange of the adapter through a second annular rib, such that the outer sleeve is detachable from the injection barrel together with the needle seat and the adapter. The injection barrel can be used for needle-free dosing injection.
Pen needle removal device for a drug delivery device
A removal device (121, 221) for removing and disposing of a pen needle (113, 213) connectable to a drug delivery device (111, 211) includes a body (123, 223) having a cavity (141, 241) for receiving the pen needle of the drug delivery device such that a patient end (116, 216) of a needle (115, 215) of the pen needle is covered by the body. An ejector (151, 251) is movably connected to the body (123, 223) for engaging the received pen needle (113, 213) and selectively ejecting the engaged pen needle from the body. The pen needle (113, 213) is securely retained within the removal device (121, 221) without exposing the needle (115, 215) of the pen needle until the pen needle (113, 213) can be properly disposed of, such as in a sharps container, thereby substantially preventing an accidental needle stick.
