Apparatus and methods for ocular treatment are provided. The apparatus can comprise a microcannula having a proximal end, a distal end, a cavity, and a central longitudinal axis. The apparatus can include a handle coupled to the proximal end of the microcannula. The apparatus can include multiple orifices extending circumferentially about the microcannula distal end, each of the orifices defining a channel extending transverse to the central longitudinal axis, and one or more grooves about a circumference of the microcannula.

Mandibular Anesthesia Curved Dental Needle
20210316083 · 2021-10-14 ·

The present invention provides a curved needle design which deflects to an advantageous angle when inserted within the medial posterior soft tissue of the patient lower jaw. The deflected needle tip is more perpendicular to the vertical wall of the posterior ramus and promotes the needle tip contacting bone proximate to the inferior alveolar nerve prior to injection of anesthetic. The needle design also improves the tactile feedback to the dental practitioner as the needle penetrates tissue and contacts bone.

Drug delivery device

An improved device capable of releasing a drug in response to stimuli such as a glucose concentration is provided. Provided is a drug delivery device, including a porous body such as a hollow fiber having biocompatibility and drug permeability, a stimuli-responsive gel composition filling inside of the porous body, and a drug surrounded by the gel composition inside of the porous body.

Syringe

The present invention relates to a syringe, and more particularly, to an apparatus obtained by improving an conventional syringe formed with an injection flow passage including an injection needle, so as to share a portion of the injection flow passage except the injection needle or to form a suction flow passage completely independent of the injection flow passage, thereby further smoothing suction of a liquid medicine. The syringe is configured such that the separate suction flow passage bypassing the injection needle is formed in an conventional syringe to more smoothly perform the suction of the liquid medicine, thereby maximizing user's convenience and marketability of the product.

Spring cannulae

Disclosed herein are embodiments of spring cannulae, including one or more holes in the sidewall of the cannula. Some disclosed cannulae include a wire, helically wound to form coils, and at least one hole in the cannula that interrupts one or more of the coils. Some embodiments further include a fused region of the coils through which the hole passes. Some embodiments include a ring attached to ends of the interrupted coils, where the hole is surrounded by the ring. Some embodiments include a sheath that is attached to a radial surface of the interrupted coils, where the hole passes radially though the sheath.

SPRINKLER CANNULA

An infusion device (50) incl. a preferably soft cannula (1) configured to be inserted by means of an insertion needle. The cannula has a tubular body member having a proximal end and a subcutaneously placed distal portion having a distal end where the distal portion is provided with an opening (2) allowing a portion of a drug conveyed through the tubular body member to discharge. The cannula further comprise, in the distal portion, a radial opening allowing a portion of a drug conveyed through the tubular body member to discharge.

CANNULA AND INFUSION DEVICES

Infusion devices including a cannula have a tubular body member comprising a tubular wall enclosing a longitudinal extending internal bore. The cannula is adapted to flex in response to a compression force and/or an increased internal pressure in the cannula.

MULTI-LUMEN SYRINGES FOR INTRAOCULAR INJECTIONS
20210298949 · 2021-09-30 ·

There is provided herein a multi-lumen syringe for intraocular injection, including a first lumen, a second lumen, one or more needles fluidly connected to the lumens, and a needle sheath disposed about the one or more needles; wherein the needle sheath includes a plurality of n proximity/contact/pressure actuators on a distal rim of the needle sheath; wherein the syringe is switchable between at least two configurations: a first configuration in which at least one of the actuators is not actuated and each tip of the one or more needles is proximally positioned, and secured, relative to the distal rim; and a second configuration in which the n actuators are actuated, and the one or more needles are allowed to distally extend beyond the distal rim.
