BENT FLUID PATH ADD ON TO A PREFILLED FLUID RESERVOIR
An add-on for a self-injector is described. The add-on includes an adaptor having at a rigid and a bent fluid path. The adaptor is sized and fitted to sterilely couple the bent fluid path to a tip of a fluid reservoir. The add-on also includes a fastener sized and fitted to couple a body of the fluid reservoir to the self-injector. The internal diameter of the fastener is adjustable. The adaptor and the fastener couple to the self-injector to at least one of a plurality of reservoirs having different sizes and tip types. The self-injector can include a support plate with a plurality of attachment points. The fastener can be sized and fitted to couple to the body of the fluid reservoir and to at least one of the attachment points. A retention cantilever can releasably couple the at least one fastener to the support plate.
INJECTOR NEEDLE CAP AND/OR LINER REMOVER
A system for medicament delivery includes a cartridge containing a medicament and in fluid communication with a needle, where the needle is enveloped by a needle cap, a housing for containing the cartridge and having an orifice for allowing access to said needle cap and its associated needle, and a needle cap remover device.
Cartridge for storing, discharging and applying a dental compound
The invention relates to a cartridge for storing, discharging and applying a dental compound, in particular a paste for preparing and drying the gingival sulcus (sulcus gingivae) during dental impression taking. The invention relates to a cartridge (1) for storing, discharging and applying a dental compound, comprising a container (2), which has a hollow chamber (4) for accommodating the dental compound, and a cannula (3). The hollow chamber (4) comprises an outlet opening (5) and an actuator opening (6) opposite the outlet opening (5), and the cannula (3) is fluid-connected to the outlet opening (5), is arranged on the container (2) and is straight in the starting state. The cartridge is characterised in that the cannula (3) is made of plastic and is plastically deformable under standard conditions with the application of manual force in such a manner that a permanent bend by an angle of at least up to 65° in comparison with the starting state can be achieved without buckling the cannula (3).
INJECTOR SYSTEM
An injector including at least one fluid reservoir having a needle, a surface attached to skin and coupled to the fluid reservoir by at least a first joint and a second joint at least a portion of one of the joints being slidable or having interlocking arms. At least a portion of a path of translation of a slidable portion of the first joint and a portion of a path of translation of the second joint are angled in respect to each another.
IMPROVEMENTS IN OR RELATED TO TRANSDERMAL DELIVERY
It is known to deliver drugs through the skin, i.e. transdermally, by using a needle that is used in conjunction with a device.
A device (10) comprises a device body (12) which has an opening (14) for receiving a needle assembly (100) in use. The device also comprises a loading mechanism (16) which is moveable in use to receive the needle assembly (100) via the opening (14) and secure the needle assembly (100) relative to the device body (12). The loading mechanism (16) is configured to receive and secure the needle assembly (100) upon force exerted on the loading mechanism (16) in a single direction (F.sub.D1).
Patch injector with slidable joint
An injector including at least one fluid reservoir having a needle, a surface attached to skin and coupled to the fluid reservoir by at least a first joint and a second joint at least a portion of one of the joints being slidable or having interlocking arms. At least a portion of a path of translation of a slidable portion of the first joint and a portion of a path of translation of the second joint are angled in respect to each another.
Bent fluid path add on to a prefilled fluid reservoir
An add-on for a self-injector including an adaptor and a bent fluid path is provided. The adaptor includes at least one coupling sized and shaped to couple the adaptor to a fluid reservoir. The bent fluid path is configured at a first end to penetrate tissue and coupled at a second end to the adaptor. The add-on coupled to the fluid reservoir forms an integral self-injector cartridge unit configured to be sterilized and filled with an injectable. The adaptor is configured to couple to a self-injector at least one of a plurality of reservoirs having different sizes and tip types.
Dental applicator
The invention relates to a dental applicator comprising an applicator housing and a plunger body guided movably in said applicator housing, wherein the applicator housing comprises a connection for detachably mounting a cannula in a pressure-resistant manner, said cannula comprising a connection body and a cannula tube that is rigidly connected in or on said connection body, and the applicator housing (12) and/or plunger body (14) having a receiving device (22) for at least partially receiving a bendable cannula tube (20).
LOW-PROFILE MULTI-AGENT INJECTION SYSTEM AND METHODS
Low-profile fluid injection systems and methods for injecting fluid into a tumor within a body comprising an elongate member, a plurality of fluid delivery members, and a plurality of fluid reservoirs. Each of the plurality of fluid reservoirs may be fluidly coupled to a single of fluid delivery lumen of a single fluid delivery member such that each of the fluid delivery members is fluidly independent of every other fluid delivery member. The plurality of fluid delivery members may be configured to extend out of a distal end of the elongate member into the tumor when the system is positioned in the body of a patient. A fluid delivery mechanism may be operably coupled to the plurality of fluid reservoirs in order to deliver fluids from the plurality of fluid reservoirs to the plurality of fluid delivery members and inject the fluids into the tumor.
