Assembly including a needle for administering a fluid
An assembly including a needle (3) for administering a fluid is presented. The needle (3) comprises a hollow needle body (4) to guide the fluid. The needle body (4) is furthermore formed such that an inlet section (20) of the needle body (4) defines a first flow direction for the fluid and an outlet section (21) of the needle body (4) defines a second flow direction for the fluid, wherein the first flow direction is inclined with respect to the second flow direction.
PROTECTING A NEEDLE POINT
A drug delivery device may include sterile needle covered by removable a sterility preserving protector. The device optionally includes skin contact surface and a needle protector for preventing a stick hazard upon removal of the skin contact surface from an injection site or angle without Removing completely. Optionally, the needle protector may include a shield that interferes with replacement of the needle protector. In some embodiments, the needle cover may interfere with deployment of the needle protector.
Injector needle cap and/or liner remover
A system for medicament delivery includes a cartridge containing a medicament and in fluid communication with a needle, where the needle is enveloped by a needle cap, a housing for containing the cartridge and having an orifice for allowing access to said needle cap and its associated needle, and a needle cap remover device.
INJECTOR DEVICE WITH FLOW PATH AND DRIVE
A device for drug injection has a cartridge, which in turn has a reservoir and a fluid path. The fluid path carries a fluid for injection from the reservoir to the place where the patient is to be injected. The fluid path comprises a needle, and the fluid path is kept sterile. A drive chain extends the needle to the injection point, but is only mechanically connected to the fluid path to operate the needle, the mechanical connection being such as to operate the needle while maintaining the fluid path sterility.
INJECTOR NEEDLE CAP REMOVER
Disclosed is a cover for an injector having a needle, a needle cap, and a needle cap remover, the cap remover being a coupler for a needle cap and a user handle, the user handle having a protruding element opposite the coupler, the protruding element having a short dimension and a long dimension, the cover comprising: at least one adhesive layer covering a surface of an outside of the injector; at least one liner layer, covering the adhesive layer, an extension extending beyond the surface; a first aperture through the adhesive layer and the liner layer aligned to an opening in the surface, the first aperture sized and shaped for passage of the coupler therethrough; and a second elongated aperture, through the extension, having a length being shorter than the short dimension and shorter than the long dimension of the protruding element.
MEDICAMENT DELIVERY DEVICE COMPRISING A VISUAL INDICATOR
Disclosed herein is a pharmaceutical delivery device comprising a cartridge containing a fluid, the cartridge including a light pipe section which acts as a light pipe having an input location; and a light diffusing section optically coupled to the light pipe; and a light source optically coupled to the cartridge at the input location to the light pipe, such that at least some light from the light source entering at the input location is diffused at the light diffusing section.
Dental Applicator
The invention relates to a dental applicator comprising an applicator housing and a plunger body guided movably in said applicator housing, wherein the applicator housing comprises a connection for detachably mounting a cannula in a pressure-resistant manner, said cannula comprising a connection body and a cannula tube that is rigidly connected in or on said connection body, and the applicator housing (12) and/or plunger body (14) having a receiving device (22) for at least partially receiving a bendable cannula tube (20).
INJECTION APPARATUS WITH NEEDLE HOUSING FOR DESENSITISING SKIN
A needle house (115) having a distal end which is removably connected to a source of injectable fluid (110) and a proximal end (80) for contacting a patient, as well as to an injection apparatus comprising the needle housing. The needle housing comprises a) a hollow needle through which the injectable fluid is deliverable to the patient, the needle having a proximal end for insertion into body tissue of the patient, and (b) a chamber (75) having an open proximal end, the chamber surrounding at least part of the needle and extending proximally beyond the proximal end of the needle to the open proximal end. The open proximal end of the chamber is deformable and is moveable relative to the needle from a position in which the chamber extends proximally beyond the proximal end of the needle to a position in which the proximal end of the needle extends proximally through the open proximal end of the chamber.
BENT FLUID PATH ADD ON TO A PREFILLED FLUID RESERVOIR
An add-on for a self-injector including an adaptor including at least one coupling sized and shaped to couple the adaptor to a fluid reservoir, a bent fluid path configured at a first end to penetrate tissue and coupled at a second end to said adaptor. The add-on coupled to the fluid reservoir forms an integral self-injector cartridge unit configured to be sterilized and filled with an injectable. The adaptor is configured to couple to a self-injector at least one of a plurality of reservoirs having different sizes and tip types.
PATCH INJECTOR WITH SLIDABLE JOINT
An injector including at least one fluid reservoir having a needle, a surface attached to skin and coupled to the fluid reservoir by at least a first joint and a second joint at least a portion of one of the joints being slidable or having interlocking arms. At least a portion of a path of translation of a slidable portion of the first joint and a portion of a path of translation of the second joint are angled in respect to each another.
