Adaptor for a drug delivery device and method for mounting said adaptor thereon
An adaptor intended to be mounted on a distal tip of a drug delivery device is provided. The distal tip defines an axial passageway for transfer of a product contained in the drug delivery device. The adaptor has a longitudinal axis A aligned on the axial passageway. The adaptor includes: a connection member for connecting the adaptor to a connector; an inner ring releasably engageable on the distal tip; and a compression component separate from the inner ring and configured to be unreleasably snap-fitted onto the inner ring engaged on the distal tip by proximal movement of the compression component with respect to the inner ring. The compression component is configured to exert a centripetal pressure on the inner ring so as to prevent axial movement of the inner ring with respect to the distal tip.
Method for manufacturing needle-equipped outer tube, and needle-equipped outer tube
A method for manufacturing a needle-equipped outer tube includes providing a needle; providing a joint member having a needle insertion hole into which the needle is insertable; providing an outer tube comprising a connection section at a first axial end portion of the outer tube; pressing the joint member, with the needle located in the needle insertion hole, toward the connection section, such that the joint member engages with the connection section of the outer tube; and thermally welding the needle and the joint member, as well as the joint member and the connection section, such that the needle is joined to the joint member, and the joint member is joined to the connection section of the outer tube.
Disconnecting mechanisms
A disconnecting mechanism includes a main body including a fluid transfer tip having a tapered surface to form a friction fit with a corresponding connector. The lever member includes a threaded portion to enable the corresponding connector part to be connected to the fluid transfer tip by a screw fit in addition to the friction fit, and an actuator portion to actuate release of the friction fit. In a first pivotal position, the threaded portion has a first position close to the fluid transfer tip to engage with an outer thread or rim of the corresponding part and thereby form the screw fit in addition to the friction fit. In a second pivotal position, the threaded portion has a second position further away from the fluid transfer tip to disconnect the screw fit and the actuator portion is moved forward to push the connector part and release the friction fit.

PEN NEEDLE TIP AND METHOD OF MAKING AND USING THE SAME
A needle tip assembly for a pre-loaded syringe or a pen needle injection device, wherein the needle tip assembly comprises a needle mounted to a needle support and comprising a first puncturing end projecting from a front side of the needle support and a second puncturing end projecting from a rear side of the needle support. A body is sized and configured to receive therein the needle support and the needle. The body comprises a front portion, a rear portion, and an overall axial length that is greater than an axial length of the needle. Prior to the needle tip assembly being in an installed condition on the pre-loaded syringe or the pen needle injection device, each of the front portion covers the first puncturing end and the rear portion covers the second puncturing end. Prior to removal from the pre-loaded syringe or the pen needle injection device, the body is at least axially movably relative to the needle support to a position the front portion covers the first puncturing end.
INJECTOR NEEDLE CAP REMOVER
Disclosed is a cover for an injector having a needle, a needle cap, and a needle cap remover, the cap remover being a coupler for a needle cap and a user handle, the user handle having a protruding element opposite the coupler, the protruding element having a short dimension and a long dimension, the cover comprising: at least one adhesive layer covering a surface of an outside of the injector; at least one liner layer, covering the adhesive layer, an extension extending beyond the surface; a first aperture through the adhesive layer and the liner layer aligned to an opening in the surface, the first aperture sized and shaped for passage of the coupler therethrough; and a second elongated aperture, through the extension, having a length being shorter than the short dimension and shorter than the long dimension of the protruding element.

A container for pharmaceutical preparations includes a base body. The container has at least one first holding element embodied such that it can work together with a corresponding second holding element of a holding device for the container in order to hold the base body securely on the holding device.
System and method for safety syringe
One embodiment is directed to a system for injecting, comprising a syringe body defining an interior medicine chamber; a stopper member configured to be inserted into the interior medicine chamber to contain medicine within the medicine chamber; a plunger member configured to be manually manipulated to insert the stopper member relative to the syringe body; and a needle having proximal and distal ends, the proximal end comprising an anchoring geometry configured to be at least partially inserted into the stopper member such that upon retraction of the stopper member, the needle is pulled proximally along with the stopper to be at least partially contained within the interior medicine chamber.
Pen injector apparatus
A pen injector apparatus is disclosed for use with a cartridge to deliver a plurality of single metered doses therefrom. The injector apparatus includes a body arranged to provide a conduit which, in use, provides a fluid communication path between the cartridge and a delivery needle and a mechanism arranged to expel therapeutic material from the cartridge. The mechanism is arranged to draw therapeutic material from the cartridge into the conduit by negative pressure and discharge a metered dose from the conduit via the delivery needle.

Provided is a drug delivery device including: a reservoir for a product, having a distally projecting end-piece defining an axial passageway for the transfer of the product, with a distal portion, an adaptor having a collar engageable around said end-piece said collar being axially movable with respect to said end-piece, securing structure for limiting the axial movement of said collar with respect to said end-piece, between a most distal position and a most proximal position of said collar, and biasing element for urging said collar towards its most distal position. An adaptor for forming a drug delivery device is also provided.
