Method for manufacturing needle-equipped outer tube, and needle-equipped outer tube

A method for manufacturing a needle-equipped outer tube includes providing a needle; providing a joint member having a needle insertion hole into which the needle is insertable; providing an outer tube comprising a connection section at a first axial end portion of the outer tube; pressing the joint member, with the needle located in the needle insertion hole, toward the connection section, such that the joint member engages with the connection section of the outer tube; and thermally welding the needle and the joint member, as well as the joint member and the connection section, such that the needle is joined to the joint member, and the joint member is joined to the connection section of the outer tube.

OPENING AND SUPPLYING SYSTEM FOR PRE-FILLED CONTAINERS, RESPECTIVE FILLED CONTAINERS, AND METHODS FOR THEIR REALIZATION

The present invention relates to an opening and liquid supplying system (100) for pre-filled containers (10, 30) equipped with a supplying end, comprising a coupling element (20), connecting means (6) movable from a first position to a second position, and movable protection means (9); the coupling element (20) has an end (27) closed and suitable for being punched, and first guiding means (21) for guiding the movement of the connecting means (6) movable from the first position, close to the closed end (27), to the second position, apart from such end, and vice versa; the connecting means (6) have engaging means (7) for engaging with the protection means (9) so as to move integrally along a second degree of freedom, different than the first degree of freedom, and first matches (11) for the first guiding means (21).

The invention relates also to a respective pre-filled container equipped with such system and the method for realize them.

Low residual volume syringe/conduit combination and syringe for such a syringe/conduit combination

Syringe/conduit combination with a syringe part (1) and a conduit part (2). The parts have a male slip fitting (4) and a female slip fitting (5) for press fitted connection. The syringe part (1) has a hollow barrel (22) and a plunger (23) inserted into the barrel (22). The plunger (23) and the hollow barrel (22) have abutments (25, 27) defining a maximally inserted position of the plunger (23). The male slip fitting (4) fits in the female slip fitting (5) such that the male slip fitting (4) is at an axial distance of less than 0.1 mm from an internal end of the female slip fitting (5). The plunger (23) in its maximally inserted position is then at an axial distance from an opposite one of the slip fittings (5) that is equal to or less than the axial distance between the male slip fitting (4) and the internal end (9) of the female slip fitting (5).

The present invention relates to a syringe, and more particularly, to an apparatus obtained by improving an conventional syringe formed with an injection flow passage including an injection needle, so as to share a portion of the injection flow passage except the injection needle or to form a suction flow passage completely independent of the injection flow passage, thereby further smoothing suction of a liquid medicine. The syringe is configured such that the separate suction flow passage bypassing the injection needle is formed in a conventional syringe to more smoothly perform suction of the liquid medicine, thereby maximizing user's convenience and marketability of the product, and further configured to forcibly close the suction flow passage upon injection of the liquid medicine.

One embodiment is directed to a system for injecting, comprising a syringe body defining an interior medicine chamber; a stopper member configured to be inserted into the interior medicine chamber to contain medicine within the medicine chamber; a plunger member configured to be manually manipulated to insert the stopper member relative to the syringe body; and a needle having proximal and distal ends, the proximal end comprising an anchoring geometry configured to be at least partially inserted into the stopper member such that upon retraction of the stopper member, the needle is pulled proximally along with the stopper to be at least partially contained within the interior medicine chamber.

APPARATUS AND METHODS FOR OCULAR INJECTION

An apparatus includes a housing coupled to a medicament container, which is coupled to a needle. An injection assembly is disposed within the housing and includes an energy storage member and an actuation rod. A distal end portion of the actuation rod is disposed within the medicament container. The energy storage member can produce a force on a proximal end portion of the actuation rod sufficient to move the distal end portion of the actuation rod within the medicament container. This can convey at least a portion of a substance from the medicament container via the needle when a distal tip of the needle is disposed within a first region of a target location. The force is insufficient to move the distal end portion of the actuation rod within the medicament container when the distal tip of the needle is disposed within a second region of the target location.
