The needle unit (4) comprises a needle structure (11) comprising a front needle portion (12) for entering the drug delivery site, and at least one back needle portion (13a, 13b) for insertion into the at least one reservoir (40a, 40b), and a needle shield (20). The needle shield (20) and the needle structure (11) are capable of undergoing relative axial motion between an accommodating relative position in which the needle structure (11) is completely accommodated within the needle shield (20) and a protruding relative position in which the front needle portion (12) protrudes from the needle shield (20), the needle shield (20) and the needle structure (11) being biased towards the accommodating relative position by a first bias force. When the needle unit (4) is attached to the drug delivery device (2, 3) the needle structure (11) and the at least one reservoir (40a, 40b) are capable of undergoing relative axial motion between a disconnected relative position in which the at least one back needle portion (13a, 13b) is spaced apart from the at least one reservoir (40a, 40b), and a connected relative position in which the at least one back needle portion (13a, 13b) and the at least one reservoir (40a, 40b) are fluidly connected, the needle structure (11) and the at least one reservoir (40a, 40b) being biased towards the disconnected relative position by a second bias force which is greater than the first bias force.
PEN NEEDLE MAGAZINE
A pen needle magazine (10) comprising a plurality of compartments (14) each carrying a pen needle (40), and a pen needle carrier (60) disposed in each of the plurality of compartments (14), the pen needle (40) disposed in the pen needle carrier (60), wherein the pen needle carrier (60) includes a first pen needle path (62) and a second pen needle path (64), the first pen needle path (62) aids in removing the pen needle (40), and the second pen needle path (64) aids in discarding a used pen needle (40).
LUER-LOCK FASTENING NEEDLE HUB
A Luer-lock fastening needle hub is proposed. The Luer-lock fastening needle hub has an insertion groove for a front end of a tapered tube of a barrel to receive the tapered tube into which a plunger is inserted, so that a plunger contact surface is inserted into the tapered tube of a front discharge end of the barrel. The Luer-lock fastening needle hub has a needle cap fastening grooves formed along an outer circumference thereof and “V”-shaped insertion guides are formed in four direction at front portions of openings of the needle cap fastening grooves, so that fastening protrusions formed on an inner surface of a needle cap are unaffectedly guided by the “V”-shaped insertion guides and are easily aligned and fastened to the needle cap fastening grooves.
Syringe
A syringe is provided, including a syringe barrel, a needle set and a push rod. A front end part is provided in the syringe barrel. An end of the needle set has an open area, the open area is transversely provided with a first snap part. The push rod is slidably disposed within the syringe barrel, and an end of the push rod facing the front end part has a second snap part. When the push rod is slidingly moved to the front end part, the second snap part is engaged with the first snap part.
SYRINGE WITH PLUNGER REACTION PRESSURE REDUCTION STRUCTURE
A syringe with plunger reaction pressure reduction structure is proposed. The syringe includes: a barrel including a finger grip at a rear end thereof and a Luer-lock connector in which a thread portion is formed on an inner surface outside a tapered tube of a front discharge end thereof; a plunger rod configured to be inserted in an inside of the barrel and including a push end at a rear end thereof; a plunger coupled to a front end of the plunger rod; and a needle hub configured to be screwed with the Luer-lock connector and including an injection needle mounted to a front end thereof. The syringe is configured to have a three-step structure at the plunger in which intervals between steps are gradually shortened, so that the reaction pressure applied to the plunger is distributed and the injection is easily performed.
Needle storage magazine assembly
A magazine assembly (1) that stores a plurality of needles (56) configured to engage a medication pen (2) via an adapter (4) for medication delivery, the magazine assembly (1) comprising a magazine housing (20) enclosing a plurality of hub chambers (22) each enclosing one of a plurality of needle hubs (50), a connector (28) in each of the plurality of hub chambers (22), each connector (28) engages one of the plurality of needle hubs (50), and a plurality of enclosures (30) each sealing the plurality of hub chambers (22), wherein a selected enclosure of the plurality of enclosures (30) is removed to expose a selected needle hub (52) of the plurality of needle hubs (50), the adapter (4) attaches to the medication pen (2) to engage the selected needle hub (52) while disengaging the selected needle hub (52) from the hub chamber (22), and the selected needle hub (52) is removed from the magazine housing (20) to prepare the medication pen (2) for medication delivery.
PEN NEEDLE
Disclosed is a pen needle including: a needle; a needle hub which comprises a coupling structure, which can be screw-coupled to a body, holds the needle and has protrusions formed on a supporting surface; a spring which has one side supported on the supporting surface and provides resilience; a plunger which has a plurality of resilient blades, which can be folded or unfolded, and has a hollow through which the needle passes; a small cap which is supported on the other side of the spring and receives the plurality of blades such that the plurality of blades can be received therein or be dislodged; and a medium cap which is coupled to the small cap, accommodates the small cap such that the small cap can move, and has serrations corresponding to the protrusions.
