Interchangeable mask assembly

A system of breathing arrangements for delivering breathable gas to a patient includes at least first and second cushion components, e.g., full-face, nasal, nasal prongs, nose tip, and/or a combination of any of the above, including a nasal or full-face cushion and nasal prongs/nozzles combination, etc., that are different from one another in at least one aspect, and a common frame assembly configured to support each of the first and second cushion components. Various embodiments are directed to a full-face or nasal mask used with a frame having lateral connector portions having a stiffening member. The mask assembly may include a nose height adjustment device for the height of the cushion, or a cushion adjustment member by which the position of the cushion may be adjusted relative to the frame. The mask assembly may include a chin strap assembly.

Valsalva mask

An interface for positive pressure therapy includes a mask assembly and a headgear assembly. The mask assembly comprises a mask seal that is adapted to underlie the nose. The mask seal extends up the lateral sides of the nose. The mask seal has a primary seal below the nose and a secondary seal alongside the nose.

Wire heated tube with temperature control system, tube type detection, and active over temperature protection for humidifier for respiratory apparatus

A flow generator includes a blower, a flow generator outlet configured to receive an end of a gas delivery tube, and a controller. The flow generator outlet includes electrical connectors configured to contact corresponding electrical connectors associated with the breathable gas delivery tube when the breathable gas delivery tube is received by the flow generator outlet. The controller includes a tube-type detect circuit and is configured to receive signals from the breathable gas delivery tube by way of the electrical connectors of the flow generator outlet. The tube-type detect circuit is configured so that when the breathable gas delivery tube is received by the flow generator outlet, the tube-type detect circuit determines the type of breathable gas delivery tube based on signals from the electrical connectors of the flow generator outlet that are indicative of a condition of a resistor associated with the breathable gas delivery tube.

A respiratory mask includes an air duct, a muting member and a mask body. The muting member includes an annular portion sleeved on the air duct and formed with multiple muting holes extending therethrough, and a securing portion. The mask body is made of a flexible material, and has a connecting portion secured to the securing portion, and a groove portion connected to the connecting portion and defining a deformation groove that surrounds a central axis and that has a groove opening which faces parallel to the central axis. A ratio of an inner radius of the mask body to a groove width of the deformation groove ranges from 4 to 8. A ratio of the groove width to a groove depth of the deformation groove ranges from 0.5 to 1.5.

Respiratory mask

The invention provides a respiratory mask comprising a mask body including a base and walls upstanding from the base and converging towards an apical region and a forehead engagement member extending from the apical region of the mask body. The forehead engagement member coupled to the mask body so as to be movable relative to the mask body in a sagittal plane when the mask body is worn by a patient. An adjustment mechanism is provided for adjusting the relative positions of the forehead engagement member and the mask body. In another aspect, the invention also provides a respiratory mask including a mask body including a base and walls upstanding from the base and converging towards an apical region. The body includes a pair of transversely opposite headgear anchors adapted for attachment to headgear that a patient wears during use to secure the mask to the face of a patient.

A breathing mask comprises: a frame; a forehead support frame connected to the frame pivotally to allow the forehead support frame to shift toward or away from the forehead of a patient; and an adjusting member connected to the frame rotatably and having an adjusting slope. The forehead support frame has a joining part in contact with the adjusting slope so that the forehead support frame is driven to rotate pivotally through the rotation of the adjusting member. Through the matching between the adjusting slope and the joining part, the breathing mask converts the rotation of the adjusting member to the shifting of the forehead support frame; and through rotating the adjusting member, the height of the forehead support frame relative to the forehead of the patient can be adjusted. In use, the forehead support frame can be shifted by rotating the adjusting member with a single hand.

CUSHION FOR A RESPIRATORY MASK ASSEMBLY

A respiratory mask assembly for delivering breathable gas to a patient includes a frame and a cushion. The cushion has a non-face contacting portion structured to be connected to the frame, a face-contacting portion structured to engage the patient's face, and a central portion that interconnects the non-face contacting portion and the face contacting portion. The frame may be structured to allow a forehead support to assume multiple positions, to compensate for replacement cushions that may have a different profile, shape or size. The cushion is structured to compensate for variations in strap tension, treatment pressure and/or movement of the patient. Headgear may be provided with a strap assembly in which one or more straps is provided with selectively adjustable elasticity or extensibility that may be automatically changed in dependence of treatment pressure and/or treatment type.
