System and method for a shunt
Disclosed is a system including a flow regulating system. The flow regulating system may assist in ensuring a selected pressure within an inlet volume. The flow regulator may be included in a shunt assembly. The shut assembly may include an inlet catheter configured to assist in maintaining an open flow path therethrough.
Integrated urine anaerobic collection and culture apparatus
Disclosed is an integrated urine anaerobic collection and culture apparatus, comprising: a catheter, at a front end of which a circular arc-shaped guide part and a first through hole are arranged, where a piston part is arranged inside the front end of the catheter; a first branch tube and a second branch tube, which are connected with the catheter, the first branch tube is connected with a first negative pressure vessel, and the first branch tube and the second branch tube are respectively provided with a first valve and a second valve; an aseptic centrifuge tube, which includes a tube body and a first cover body, where the first cover body is provided with a first check valve and a second check valve; a second negative pressure vessel. The present disclosure can realize the whole anaerobic operation of urine collection and culture in the bladder.
BALLOON CATHETER
A balloon catheter having an elongated catheter shaft defining a fluid drainage lumen and a balloon inflation lumen. The balloon catheter includes a fluid drainage port disposed about the distal end of the catheter shaft in fluid communication with the fluid drainage lumen, and a balloon inflation port disposed about the distal end of the catheter shaft in fluid communication with the balloon inflation lumen. A balloon portion is disposed about the distal end of the catheter shaft in fluid communication with the balloon inflation port. A release device is disposed in fluid communication with the balloon portion and the fluid drainage lumen, and includes an activating member. A tether is attached to the activating member of the release device. Tension applied to the tether activates the release device, enabling fluid flow from the balloon portion into the fluid drainage lumen and out of the body.
Systems and methods for the treatment of aneurysms
Systems and method for treating aneurysms are provided which utilize formulations that form polymer foams in situ. The formulations generally have a buoyancy greater than or less than blood, and either float to the top of the aneurysm and foam from the top down or sink to the bottom and foam from the bottom up.

CATHETER INSERTION DEVICES
Various embodiments of the present disclosure provide a medical device straightener. The medical device straightener can comprise an elongate shaft extending along a shaft longitudinal axis, the elongate shaft including a shaft proximal end and a shaft distal end, wherein a shaft inner wall of the elongate shaft defines a shaft lumen extending therethrough. The medical device straightener can comprise a bleedback valve that includes an outer circumferential surface. The bleedback valve can be disposed at a distal end of the elongate shaft, within the shaft lumen, wherein a portion of the outer circumferential surface is in communication with the shaft inner wall. The bleedback valve can define a radially expandable lumen longitudinally extending through a center of the bleedback valve.
Urinary Catheters Having Limited Reusability
A reusable urinary catheter assembly includes a catheter shaft and a plurality of removable members associated with the catheter shaft. A different one of the removable members is configured to be removed from the catheter shaft between each consecutive use of the reusable urinary catheter assembly. By such a configuration, the number of times that the reusable urinary catheter may be reused is limited by the number of removable members.
MULTIPLE LUMEN HEAT EXCHANGE CATHETERS
Catheter devices and methods for intravascular heating and/or cooling of human or veterinary patients. The catheter devices generally comprise catheters having inflow and outflow lumens and at least one curvilinear balloon connected to the inflow and outflow lumens such that heat exchange fluid may be circulated through the balloon(s). The catheter is inserted into the vasculature and heated or cooled fluid is circulated through the balloon(s) to heat or cool blood flowing in heat-exchange proximity to the balloon(s), thereby effecting heating or cooling of all or a portion of the patient's body.
Multilumen catheters and method of manufacturing
A multilumen catheter assembly and method of making the catheter assembly is provided that involves providing a plurality of tubes, each tube having a first end, a second end, at least one lumen, and at least one surface, selectively heating at least a portion of the surface of at least a first tube of the plurality of tubes, and contacting the selectively heated portion of the tube with a portion of the surface of a second tube to form a multilumen catheter shaft that is joined together along at least a portion of the length of the catheter shaft.
Blood Clot Aspiration Catheter
A blood clot aspiration catheter includes an aspiration/flushing lumen having a distal portion that is insertable into a blood vessel of a patient, an aspiration device configured to create an aspiration phase to aspirate clot and blood into the aspiration/flushing lumen and a flushing phase to flush non-clotted blood from the aspiration/flushing lumen, a one-way valve configured to allow clot and blood to flow through the aspiration/flushing lumen during the aspiration phase and to block flow during the flushing phase, and filter valves configured to filter non-clotted blood to be flushed from the aspiration/flushing lumen.
