Real-time molecular imaging and minimally-invasive detection in interventional cardiology
A catheter is disclosed for locating radiation tagged tissue within a mammalian body and treating tagged tissue or untagged tissue adjacent to the tagged tissue in a single procedure. The catheter includes in or on a distal end thereof one or more detectors for locating labeled tissue. A lumen extending from a proximal end of said tube to the distal end of said tube, includes a retractable and extendable needle positioned adjacent the distal end of said tube for delivering a liquid treatment modality. I the alternative the injector for delivering the treatment modality may be placed adjacent to the catheter for delivery of the treatment.
INTERNAL ULTRASOUND ASSISTED LOCAL THERAPEUTIC DELIVERY
An imaging system and device used either alone or in conjunction with an intravascular treatment device to deliver a therapeutic agent to soft tissue within a subject.
ENDOLUMINAL FLUID DELIVERY DEVICE AND METHOD
A device and method for delivering a drug from inside a body lumen to tissue surrounding the body lumen. An endoluminal drug delivery device is connectable to a drug source and includes a dual-lumen catheter, including a treatment device lumen for housing a guidewire and/or a treatment device and a needle lumen for housing a retractable needle. The guidewire exits the catheter through an opening at the distal end, and the needle exits the catheter through an exit port in the outer wall of the catheter.
Endoluminal delivery of anesthesia
Described herein are methods and devices for selectively applying fluids (particularly anesthetics) to a target tissue from within a blood vessel while minimizing the amount of fluid applied to non-target tissue. The injection catheters described herein may include an elongate body, a directional injector, and one or more holdfasts for securing the catheter before extending the injector. The methods of selectively applying anesthetic to a target structure generally include the steps of inserting an injection catheter into a body vessel, positioning the injection catheter within the body vessel near the target structure, anchoring the injection catheter before extending a directional injector from the injection catheter, and applying anesthetic from the injection catheter to the target structure.
Medical injection assemblies for onabotulinumtoxina delivery and methods of use thereof
A medical injection assembly is provided and includes an introducer with a handle, a sheath, and a scope lumen extending from a first proximal end of the handle to a distal end of the sheath, wherein the scope lumen is configured to receive an endoscope at the first proximal end of the handle and hold the endoscope in a desired position. The introducer includes a cannula lumen extending from a second proximal end of the handle to the distal end of the sheath, wherein the cannula lumen is configured to receive a cannula at the second proximal end of the handle and hold the cannula in a desired position. The medical injection assembly includes a cannula configured such that the distance between the distal tip of the cannula and the axis defined by the sheath of the introducer increases as the cannula is moved in a distal direction.

NEEDLE CATHETER FOR SUPPLYING DRUG
A needle catheter for injecting a drug is provided, the needle catheter includes a needle assembly for discharging a drug, a drug supply tube for supplying the drug to the needle assembly, and a drug regulation handle for regulating an amount of the drug to be supplied through the drug supply tube, wherein the needle assembly includes a first needle communicatively coupled to the drug supply tube and a second needle coupled to the drug supply tube in parallel with the first needle, and the first needle and the second needle are contact-coupled to each other by a partition wall.

LIFTING SURGICAL INSTRUMENT HAVING BRANCH POINT
Disclosed herein is a lifting surgical instrument having a branch point, which is used to insert a thread without a cog and a barb into the skin. The lifting surgical instrument includes a sheath, including: a probe part formed in the tubular shape in which a through hole penetrating in a longitudinal direction is formed, and configured such that the front end thereof may be inserted into the skin; and a body M configured to extend from the rear end of the probe part, to have a diameter larger than that of the through hole, to communicate with the through hole, and to include a sheath hole. In this case, a direction guidance portion is provided on the inner surface of the probe part, and the angle at which the needle travels is changed via the direction guidance portion when the needle passes through the through hole.
Implantable infusion devices and methods
Infusion devices and methods are provided for a drug delivery system and can include an infusion needle (1) having a tip end (2) and a drive unit (D) coupled to the infusion needle and arranged for advancing the tip end of the infusion needle to penetrate any fibrosis when the infusion device is implanted in a patient's body. The infusion needle and drive unit are designed for implantation in a patient's body. Other components of the drug delivery system may be part of the implantable infusion device or, alternatively, be for extracorporal use cooperating with the implanted infusion device. Preferably, the infusion needle can be advanced and retracted with each infusion cycle. Furthermore, upon each advancement and/or retraction, the needle may be moved laterally so as to vary the injection site. Needle (1) and drive unit (D) are preferably disposed within a body (15), with the infusion needle being arranged for penetrating a self-sealing penetration membrane (18).
