Mortar transportation system

The present invention relates to a backpack system for transporting items and an accompanying device. In exemplary embodiments, carried items are kept secure within a plurality of item holders to prevent the items from moving. The item holders can be rigid structures like cylinders or flexible canvas pouches. In exemplary embodiments, the backpack system can have configurations for carrying either a device or additional items.

A bracket system for mounting objects on to a mounting frame such as a backpack frame or a vehicle equipment mount. The bracket system includes at least two sets of brackets. Each of the sets of brackets has three major components. The first major component is a flexible strap with a first end and second end, the second end formed with a T-shape. The second major is a right-hand bracket with a flexible strap anchor plate for affixing the first end of the flexible strap thereto, the first bracket further including a set of openings along one side for mechanically fastening to the mounting frame. The third component is a left-hand bracket formed with a variety of slots for receiving the second end of the flexible strap with the T-shape along one side and a set of openings along second side for mechanically fastening to the mounting frame.

In an embodiment of the invention, the modular tool carrying apparatus includes a rigid outer surface and an inner surface opposite the rigid outer surface where the inner surface is configured to be placed against a back of a user. The modular tool carrying apparatus further includes shoulder straps configured to secure the inner surface against the user and a central tool mounting assembly configured to secure one or more tools to the rigid outer surface. The central tool mounting assembly includes a strap configured to secure the tool to the rigid outer surface between parallel brackets mounted to the rigid outer surface.
