Systems and methods for controlling windrow size

Systems and methods for controlling formation of a windrow in response to a single control input. The single control input represents a desired windrow width. The single control input is used to determine positions of components of a cutter implement, such as side shields and a swath flap, that are used to form a windrow having the desired windrow width represented or that is otherwise associated with the single control input.

SYSTEM AND METHOD TO CONTROL PLUGGING OF A WINDROWER

An auger slip can be monitored to determine when an auger slip condition indicative of possible plugging of a harvesting work vehicle is present. In response to the auger slip condition, various implements of the harvesting work vehicle can be adjusted to resolve the auger slip condition or mitigate plugging. The implements may include a cutter bar, an auger, a roll gap, a swath flap, and/or a shield former. Further, an engine speed or vehicle speed of the harvesting work vehicle can be adjusted to mitigate plugging.

An agricultural device is movable in a direction of advance and includes: a cutter bar equipped with cutting elements intended to cut a standing crop product; a conditioner positioned behind the cutter bar; and a grouping device intended to move the product transversely to the direction of advance and located behind the cutter bar, in an active position. A retraction actuator is configured to transpose the grouping device between the active position and a passive position in which the product is deposited at the rear of the device. A collecting device extends partially under and partially behind the conditioner in active position of the grouping device.

A method of determining a crop yield of a field worked by an agricultural vehicle includes receiving, from a sensor of the agricultural vehicle, sensor data associated with at least one parameter of a swath of a plant material formed by the agricultural vehicle in the field. The method further includes receiving, from a location sensor, location data indicative of a location of the swath of the plant material. The method further includes generating, based on the sensor data and the location data, the swath parameter map indicating the at least one parameter of the swath of the plant material at the location of the swath of the plant material.

Agricultural mounted implement with cleaning unit

An agricultural mounted implement for the cleaning of harvested material, which cleaning is mobile and operated on a vehicle, said implement having an implement frame, a fan, and a cleaning unit. The cleaning unit has a pick-up for picking the harvested material to be cleaned; a first air distributor base connected to the fan via an air conveying channel and has a first air passage; a conveyor unit via which the cleaned harvested material is ejected from the cleaning unit; and a drop sieve which is mounted on the implement frame so as to be congruently below the conveyor unit. During operation, the fan sucks in an air flow, guides it under the first air distributor base and blows it out through the first air passage counter to the force of gravity such that the harvested material picked by the pick-up is transported to the conveyor unit.
