Slidable bar and carriage exercise assembly
10556144 · 2020-02-11 · ·

An exercise apparatus includes a frame with a pair of vertical guides. A carriage is slidably carried on each of the guides. Each of the carriages has a locking mechanism to lock the carriage at a selected vertical position and a release to disengage the locking mechanism. A horizontal exercise bar is slidably carried on guide rods. First and second cables are coupled to a selectable exercise resistance, each of the cables having an end selectively coupled to either the respective carriage or to a respective bracket at the end of the exercise bar. Secondary brackets on the exercise bar are configured to engage respective ones of the carriage releases and grab the carriage so as to selectively engage and disengage the locking mechanisms upon axial rotation of the exercise bar and raise and lower the carriages with the exercise bar.

Workout sensing system
10549154 · 2020-02-04 · ·

A workout sensing system for collecting and transmitting strength training related data from components embedded within a sleeve of a strength training device such as a barbell, lat bar, or close grip seated row bar. The strength training device tracks metrics including load, repetitions, sets, power, velocity, force, and form. The workout sensing system is comprised of hardware and software that may enable a cloud based platform to analyze a user's strength training data so the user may track and optimize their strength performance in the weight room.

COMPETITIVE WEIGHTLIFTING MACHINE AND METHODS FOR USING THE SAME
20200023226 · 2020-01-23 ·

The present invention provides a competitive weightlifting system capable of interacting with and comparing weightlifting performances of multiple users, and creating competition between such users by displaying a ranked list of performances by those users. The system may include a frame for supporting and guiding a lift bar, sensors mounted to the frame for measuring and refereeing the performance of a user, a controller housed in the frame for tracking and ranking user performances with an interface for creating and logging into user profiles, and a communication device for sharing user performance data with other remote competitive weightlifting systems (e.g., competitive weightlifting systems in other gyms or homes) in order to create a wide-ranging competition between, and ranked leaderboard of, the many users.

Apparatus for exercising
10532239 · 2020-01-14 ·

An apparatus for exercising having a frame assembly defining a triangular prism shape, which has a frame top bar that has connected a first set of frame lateral bars and a second set of frame lateral bars. The frame assembly further has first and second frame base bars and first and second frame lateral base bars. First and second clamp assemblies are mounted onto the frame top bar. The apparatus for exercising further has first and second band assemblies, a strap assembly, first and second upper handle assemblies, and a board assembly, which are removable from the frame assembly. The frame assembly is used for exercising alone and/or in conjunction with the first and second band assemblies, the strap assembly, the first and second upper handle assemblies, and the board assembly.

SELECTOR PIN OF WEIGHT STACK AND BOLT ELEMENT THEREOF
20240042263 · 2024-02-08 ·

The present disclosure describes selector pin for a weight stack of a weight exercise machine, and a bolt element for such a selector pin. The bolt element has two first contact points (22.1) positioned along the length of the bolt element (22) on a first side of the bolt element (22), and a second contact point (22.2) between the first contact points on a second side opposite to the first side. The first contact points (22.1) being configured to engage with the weight plate during an exercise, and the second contact point (22.2) being configured to engage with the centre selector shaft. The bolt element may further have a stress sensor configured to determine mechanical stress of the bolt element caused by forces generated by the weight plate and the selector shaft acting on the first and second contact points (22.1; 22.2) of the bolt element (22).
