WEIGHT TRAINING EQUIPMENT WITH SENSOR
A weight training equipment with an ultrasonic sensor assembly including a transmitter unit, a receiver unit, a case and the support. The case is rotatably supported upon the support to expose the transmitter and the receiver upwardly. A freely rotatable pin unit is selectively inserted into the hole of the corresponding weight block of the weight training equipment to have its reflection surface downwardly face the sensor assembly. A distance between the pin unit and the sensor assembly during exercise can be measure by ultrasound transmitted from the transmitter unit toward the pin unit and further reflected by the reflection surface and received by the receiver unit.
Apparatus, System, and Method for Pulley Exercise Equipment Improvement
An exercise machine including a vertical post and an adjustable pulley. The vertical post includes a plurality of engagement holes. The adjustable pulley is slideably connected to the vertical post. The adjustable pulley includes a pull pin and a lock. The pull pin is selectively engageable with one of the plurality of engagement holes. In response to the pull pin being engaged with an engagement hole, movement of the adjustable pulley relative to the vertical post is restricted. The lock is selectively engageable. In response to the lock being engaged with the pull pin, movement of the pull pin is restricted.
Multifunctional exercise machines
A multifunctional exercise machine includes carriages associated with resistance. Cable arm assemblies are mounted on the machine for use in performing desired exercises using the carriages and/or resistance. At least one of the cable arm assemblies is rotatable in a generally horizontal plane and includes arm segments, where one arm segment is rotatable relative to the other arm segment in a generally vertical plane. The machine also includes a vertically adjustable monolift assembly having arms for supporting a barbell in the machine, where the arms are adjustable between multiple different rotatable positions as well as in a direction generally parallel to longitudinal axes of the arms. A bench is provided that can be docked in the machine, and that includes a telescoping support for providing added stability to the bench when desired. A spotting assembly is also provided for use in catching barbells at desired locations in the machine.
ARM EXTENSION EXERCISE APPARATUS
Apparatus for performing an arm extension exercise comprising: a frame, a seat having a seating surface (S), an elbow pad having an engaging surface (ES), an input arm assembly interconnected to a resistance mechanism and a manually graspable mechanism, the input arm assembly being adapted to reside in a start motionless position (SMP) that disposes the manually graspable mechanism in a start exercise position (SEP) that is disposed vertically above UW) the user's elbows, the input arm assembly being pivotable around a linear axis disposed rearwardly of the user's elbow.
Pull down exercise apparatus
Apparatus for performing a pull down exercise comprising: a frame, a seat, an input arm assembly interconnected to a resistance mechanism and a manually graspable mechanism disposed vertically above the user's trunk in a start sitting exercise position, the input arm assembly being pivotably mounted on the frame for back and forth travel along a generally forward to rearward direction and along a generally side to side direction orthogonal to the forward to rearward direction, the input arm assembly being rotatably pivotable around a first linear axis and a second linear axis in the respective directions on exertion by the user of a rearwardly downwardly directed force on the manually graspable mechanism.
Reverse deadlift apparatus
The embodiments herein relate to an exercise machine for training the muscles of the whole body while specifically targeting the muscles of the legs and back. Specifically, the embodiments herein relate to a Reverse Deadlift Apparatus which allows a trainee to mimic a barbell type deadlift exercise in a safer and more productive fashion. An additional benefit is that the Reverse Deadlift Apparatus encourages a lifter to use proper technique by requiring them to use more of their legs and less of their lower back during the lift. The result of using the Reverse Deadlift Apparatus on a regular basis is that a lifter will increase the strength and power of the muscles of the whole body and specifically will make improvements in the lower body. The added strength and power, along with optimized Deadlifting form, will help a lifter improve their performance in the actual barbell deadlift itself and in any sports requiring a strength or power component (e.g. Football, Baseball, Martial Arts, Wrestling, Powerlifting, Olympic Lifting, Tennis, etc.).
Stationary strength training equipmment with lockable bilateral user interface
A stationary strength training equipment includes a frame assembly, a lockable bilateral user interface installed on the frame assembly, a balancing structure connected to the lockable bilateral user interface, a plurality of user selectable weights supported by the frame assembly and connected to the balancing structure, a load detecting strain gauge disposed on the user selectable weights to detect a weight of the user selectable weights being lifted, and an informing device connected to the lockable bilateral user interface to detect and show a warning signal to a user. The lockable bilateral user interface further includes a locking mechanism assembly and a central pivot assembly; the balancing structure is able to rotate along the central pivot assembly, and the locking mechanism assembly selectively restricts a rotation of the balancing structure.
Supplemental weight stack for an exercise machine
A supplemental weight stack is disclosed. The supplemental weights add a weight load to an exercise machine in increments less than the main weight increments. The supplemental weights can be stacked horizontally and can be designed such that when engaged, each supplemental weight acts upon an engagement mechanism. The user selects the supplemental weight by acting upon an adjustment mechanism, which, in turn, actuates the engagement mechanism.
Assisted chin/dip exercise apparatus with adjustable chin-up/pull-up handles
An assisted chin/dip exercise apparatus has a main frame and an assist or foot bar pivotally mounted on the frame and linked to a weight stack or resistance for assisting a user standing on the foot bar during performance of chin and dip exercises. The main frame has a first, overhead handle assembly and a second, dip handle assembly below the first handle assembly. The first handle assembly includes a pair of adjustably mounted handles freely pivotable between a first, chin-up position in which the handles extend towards one another at a rearward angle with a small spacing between the handles and a second, pull-up position in which the handles extend in a forward direction and are spaced apart by a larger spacing sufficient to provide head clearance for a user stepping onto the foot bar or while performing a dip exercise.
