Golf training apparatus
Provided is a golf training apparatus that helps a golfer learn a swing with trunk rotation and limited excessive arm movement, which includes an attachment member configured to be detachably attached to a pants belt loop on the front and right side of a user's waist, a case to which the attachment member is fixed, and first and second pads attached to the case via first and second string-like members, respectively. A force in a direction of winding up the first string-like member inside the case is constantly applied on the first string-like member, and the same applies to the second string-like member. The user executes a practice swing with the first and second pad sandwiched under the armpits. If the user opens an armpit, the first or second pad is pulled by the first or second string-like member and then returns to a region near the case.
LOW FRICTION REHABILITATION BOARD WITH AN INTEGRAL BAND RETAINING FEATURE AND METHODS OF REHABILITATION
A low friction rehabilitation board having an integral band retaining feature is described. The rehabilitation board may have a coefficient of static friction of no more than about 0.5 and in some embodiments no more than about 0.06. The rehabilitation board has a plurality of band retaining feature configured along one or both ends and may be an integral band retaining features being formed in the board. Additionally, the rehabilitation may include one or more band retaining features on one or both sides of the board. The unique configuration of the band retaining features enables rehabilitation method heretofore not possible with a single board. Resistance bands may be retained in the band retaining features and coupled to a user's limb, such as a foot or ankle, to resist motion, such as sliding or extending the foot along the low friction surface of the rehabilitation board.
Golf club having an adjustable weight assembly
A golf club head includes a body having an outer surface and a recessed channel defined in the outer surface of the body. A chamber is defined at one end of the recessed channel. The golf club head also includes a weight assembly having a weight at least partially disposed within the recessed channel and configured to slide therein. A cover having a first end and an opposite second end, the second end including a projection, and a fastener coupling the first end of the cover to the body. The fastener secures the first end of the cover to the body while the projection of the second end of the cover engages with the chamber of the recessed channel to retain a position of the weight within the recessed channel between the first end and the second end of the cover.
TENNIS NET TENSION SYSTEM INCLUDING SERVICE LET INDICATION FEATURE
Disclosed is system and method for measuring the tension of a tennis net, and, alternatively or in addition, for determining if a service let occurs via the measuring of the net tension. The disclosed embodiments measure a force exerted on the center-strap or the singles stick by the net. In these embodiments, the measured force provides an accurate reflection of the tension of the net.
Wrist position training device for a sports swing
A wrist position training device for a sport swing includes one or more wrist wraps to secure a haptic member to the back of a user's wrist and hand. A first end of the haptic member is anchored to the user's forearm. A second end of the haptic member is secured to the back of the user's hand by a finger loop or similar structure so that the haptic member follows the user's hand as the wrist transitions from a neutral position to a flexion position. The haptic member produces a tactile and audible response when transitioning between the neutral and flexion positions. This tactile and audible response signals to the user when their wrist breaks and returns to neutral position.
Exercise machine carriage handle system
An exercise machine carriage handle system for providing handles for an exerciser to grasp with their hands thereby expanding the type of exercises that may be performed. The exercise machine carriage handle system generally includes a frame having a track, a carriage movably connected to the track, a bias member connected between the frame and the carriage, a first handle connected to the carriage near the first side, and a second handle connected to the carriage near the second side. The first handle and second handle are adapted for grasping with a first hand and a second hand respectively of a user during the performance of an exercise on the exercise machine.
IMPROVED SPORTING ARTICLES
Sporting articles are provided that have improved aerodynamics, including a golf club. The golf club includes a head, the head including a plurality of dimples, configured to decrease drag of the head when swung by the user, and a chamber defined in the head, the chamber including one or more weights movable within the chamber to adjust a balance of the golf club head. The movable weights enable adjustments to be made to compensate for changes in characteristics of the golf club associated with the increased aerodynamic efficiency.
Fitness equipment control system, mobile apparatus and fitness equipment control method thereof
A fitness equipment control system is provided. The system includes a receiver and a mobile apparatus, and performs the operations: generating a first control signal based on a training course of a user; transmitting the first control signal to the receiver to make the receiver generates a signal which is readable by the fitness equipment according to the first control signal and transmit the readable signal to the fitness equipment; receiving at least one physiological signal from at least one of the wearable devices worn by the user; based on the training course and the at least one physiological signal, generating a second control signal; and when the second control signal is generated, transmitting the second control signal to the receiver, wherein the receiver generates a signal which is readable by the fitness equipment according to the second control signal and transmits it to the fitness equipment.
Golf club having an adjustable weight assembly
A golf club head includes a body having a recessed channel formed in the outer surface. A weight assembly that includes a weight disposed within the recessed channel and a cover extending over the recessed channel. A shelf is defined in the cover and slidably receives the weight. The weight assembly also includes a fastener coupling the cover to the body. The fastener is adapted to retain the weight in the recessed channel only indirectly by the cover. The cover is positionable in an unlocked configuration whereby the cover is raised at least partially out of the recessed channel and the weight is slidable within the shelf and the recessed channel, and a locked configuration whereby the cover is disposed within the recessed channel and the weight is secured within the recessed channel and the shelf. The weight moves with the cover between the unlocked configuration and the locked configuration.
Golf club having an adjustable weight assembly
A golf club head includes a body having an outer surface with a recessed channel formed therein. A weight assembly that includes a weight at least partially disposed within the recessed channel, a cover extending over the recessed channel, and a fastener coupling the cover to the body. The fastener is adapted to retain the weight in the recessed channel only indirectly by the cover. The weight assembly is selectively positionable between at least three configurations: a first configuration where the weight is secured within the recessed channel; a second configuration where the weight is slidable within the recessed channel; and a third configuration where the weight is completely removable from the golf club head. The cover is coupled to the body in all three configurations.
