SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR TARGETED NEUROLOGICAL THERAPY USING BRAINWAVE ENTRAINMENT WITH PASSIVE TREATMENT
A system and method for targeted neurological treatment using brainwave entrainment therapy with passive treatment that allows for targeted treatment of particular areas of the brain, particular neurological functions, particular neurological states, and combinations of areas, functions, and states. The system and method receive gait parameters for an individual and compare those against a database of historical gait data to determine if an onset neurodegenerative condition is present, and applies a brainwave entrainment therapy responsive to the determination of the condition. The system and method receive a neurological assessment identifying areas of the brain or neurological functions to be treated, select one or more treatment modalities and frequencies, select a treatment regimen, and apply brainwave entrainment using a treatment regimen while the subject engages in dual-task activities selected to stimulate the areas of the brain, neurological functions, or neurological states to be treated, enhanced, or altered.
VARIABLE - RESISTANCE EXERCISE MACHINE WITH NETWORK COMMUNICATION FOR SMART DEVICE CONTROL AND BRAINWAVE ENTRAINMENT
A variable-resistance exercise machine with network communication for smart device control and brainwave entrainment, comprising an exercise machine with a plurality of moving surfaces, that each provide an independent degree of resistance to movement, a sensor that detects movement and provides output to a controller, a brainwave entrainment manager that selects a brainwave entrainment frequency based on the sensor output, and a controller that receives an input from a user device, changes the operation of the plurality of moving surfaces based on the input, and sends the brainwave entrainment frequency to the user device.

In one aspect of the disclosure, a method may include capturing a first video that includes a depiction of a trainer performing a workout, combining the depiction of the trainer in the first video with a second video that moves through an environment to form a combined video in which the trainer appears to move through the environment; and encoding exercise machine control commands into a subtitle stream of the combined video to create the video workout program, execution of the video workout program on a first exercise machine configured to display the combined video and continually control one or more moveable members of the first exercise machine according to the exercise machine control commands.
CONNECTED STATIONARY EXERCISE MACHINE
Stationary exercise machine. In one aspect of the disclosure, a stationary exercise machine may include one or more moveable members configured to be moved by a user, an actuator configured to selectively adjust the speed of, or the amount of resistance on, the one or more moveable members, and one or more processors. The one or more processors may be configured to receive a video, execute the video set to a first difficulty level, receive a second difficulty level, and execute the video reset to the second difficulty level.

Climber exercise machine comprises a frame connected to a base through a base connection, the frame pivotable about the base connection. A right handle and a left handle are connected to respective right and left sides of the frame, the right handle moving within a first range of motion, the left handle moving within a second range of motion. ADAPTABLE EXERCISE SYSTEM AND METHOD
A system and method for correlating a video content presentation rate with an exercise machine operation rate is disclosed. A preferred embodiment of the apparatus is an interactive video system that adapts easily to use with a wide range of gym equipment utilizing a video presentation device that includes an accelerometer and/or camera. The camera embodiment utilizes vision algorithms to determine periodicity and motion orientation prior to modifying the input as a function of the type of exercise equipment is being utilized, in order to determine a cadence. In one embodiment the camera does not rely on seeing the limbs being exercised but utilizes the observation that even highly trained athletes have a degree of extraneous motion of their theoretically immobile body parts during exercise. A prerecorded video presentation is modulated by sensing proximate vibrational energy to determine cadence in the case of the accelerometer.

The system further receives data representative of physical activity of multiple individuals in a first group, receives data representative of physical activity of multiple individuals in a second group, determines whether the win condition has been satisfied by the first group or the second group, and identifies a winner as the first group or the second group that completed the win condition.
