A board game system comprises a game board, having a surface adapted to receive a board game overlay, a detector array adapted to detect the respective positions of a plurality of game pieces placed on top of the board game overlay, and a transmitter adapted to transmit data indicating the respective positions to an entertainment device; and an entertainment device, having a receiver adapted to receive from the game board data indicating the respective positions of the plurality of game pieces, a game state analyser operable to update the state of a game in dependence upon the indicated respective positions of the plurality of game pieces, and an image generator operable to generate an image for output to a display, the content of the image being responsive to the detected state of the game.

A movable puzzle platform includes a puzzle board and a board accessible unit. The puzzle board has a bottom for supporting on a playing surface, and a top surface for playing puzzle piece thereon. The board accessible unit is coupled at the bottom of the puzzle board for sliding on the playing surface, wherein the board accessible unit provides accessibility for the puzzle board to move the puzzle board at different planar directions with respect to the playing surface. Therefore, a player is able to move the puzzle board on the playing surface at a desired orientation to assemble the puzzle pieces on the top surface of the puzzle board.

A puzzle platform includes two puzzle drawers, a puzzle board and a support assembly configured to support the puzzle board and having a receiving space cooperatively with the puzzle board. The support assembly includes a supporting member having a top wall, a partition wall configured to forming a pair of openings communicated with the receiving space cooperatively with the top wall. Each of the puzzle drawers is actuated to slide in-and-out of the receiving space through the openings. Provided is a game device which can be used for education, play or the like, in which, when three or more chips having the same colors or shapes are placed in a column by allowing a player to insert the chips having at least two types of colors or shapes into input holes (slots) formed at the upper parts of each column, a game is won. This device may have a shape enabling the game to be played by using one surface and at least two surfaces while rotating a body if necessary, and to a shape enabling the game to be played by further using an upper surface. This device can have a structure enabling a game to be played by placing the chips on the outer surfaces of a cube, and enabling various games to be played by allowing space division to be clarified.

A movable puzzle platform includes a movable puzzle platform having a puzzle board having a top surface and a board accessible unit having a first moving member, a second moving member, and a first bearing unit coupled between the first moving member and the second moving member. The first moving member is rotatably mounted to the second moving member by the first bearing unit. Wherein the first circumferential surface of the first moving member is engaged with the second circumferential surface of the second moving member via the first bearing unit to enable the second moving member to be coaxially rotated with respect to the first moving member. Therefore, a player is able to move the puzzle board on the playing surface at a desired orientation to assemble the puzzle pieces on the top surface of the puzzle board.

A rotating assembly and a movable puzzle platform using the same are disclosed in present invention. The movable puzzle platform includes a board assembly having a puzzle board, a kickstand pivotally coupled at the board assembly and the rotating assembly attached on the kickstand and having a first moving member, a second moving member rotatably coupled to the first moving member for forming a holding space and a plurality of ball bearings rotatably received in the holding space for allowing the second moving member rotating with respect to the first moving member. One end of the kickstand is pivotally coupled at the board assembly while a free end of the kickstand is adapted to pivotally fold from the board assembly.

A puzzle platform includes two puzzle drawers, a puzzle board and a support assembly configured to support the puzzle board and having a receiving space cooperatively with the puzzle board. An illuminated, three-dimensional tic-tac-toe game device is provided and includes a game board having nine posts arranged in a square. Each post includes three levels of play and a first switch and a second switch at each level. First and second game pieces are provided for use as X's and O's in the game. Each game piece includes translucent sides, a translucent top and an opaque bottom. First contacts are provided on each first game piece and are engageable with the first switches and second contacts are provided on each second game piece and are engageable with the second switches. An electronic circuit is provided for each possible combination of three of the same game pieces in a row either horizontally, vertically, transversely or diagonally. Lights are provided at each level within each post, either within each level of each post or inside a game piece arranged at the level. The electronic circuit activates the lights to illuminate through the translucent game pieces when one player establishes three of his game pieces in a row.

A movable puzzle platform includes a puzzle board having a top surface and a board accessible unit having a first moving member, a second moving member, and a first bearing unit coupled between the first moving member and the second moving member. A first circumferential surface of the first moving member is engaged with a second circumferential surface of the second moving member via the first bearing unit to enable the second moving member to be coaxially rotated with respect to the first moving member. The first moving member includes a first horizontal flat base and a first rolling surface arranged along the first horizontal flat base. Therefore, a player is able to move the puzzle board on the playing surface at a desired orientation to assemble the puzzle pieces on the top surface of the puzzle board.

A puzzle platform includes at least two puzzle drawers, a puzzle board, and a support assembly having a receiving space cooperated with the puzzle board, and a supporting member which includes a top wall, a first side wall connected to the top wall, and a second side wall connected to the top wall, spaced apart from the first side wall, and cooperated with the top wall and the first side wall for forming at least one opening communicated with the receiving space. The puzzle drawers are actuated to slide in-and-out of the receiving space through the opening, respectively. The first and second side walls are integral with the top wall, so that the manufacture of the puzzle platform is simple and low-cost.
