SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DIGITALLY CONNECTING A NETWORK OF PHYSICAL GAMES
A system and method for digitally connecting a network of physical games are disclosed. According to one embodiment, a system comprises a table game having a first goal. A first sensor is inside first the goal. The system has a microcontroller in communication with the first sensor that collects first data. A computing device is in communication with the microcontroller that detects when a ball has entered the first goal.
GENERIC GAME METHOD FOR WIRELESS ELECTRONIC TABLE GAME SCOREBOARD
A method of operating an electronic scoreboard apparatus is disclosed. The method includes receiving a game parameter; operating a game based upon the received game parameter; receiving a first indication of a first scoring event; receiving a second indication of a second scoring event; determining a first score of the game based on the first indication from the first score sensor; determining a second score of the game based on the second indication from the second score sensor; recording video of the game; transmitting the recorded video; and transmitting the first score and the second score.
USER DEVICE METHOD FOR WIRELESS ELECTRONIC TABLE GAME SCOREBOARD
The present disclosure relates generally to a user device method for a wireless electronic table game scoreboard. A method includes a user device establishing a communication link to an electronic scoring system comprising an electronic scoreboard, and transmitting, to a data transmission module of the electronic scoring system, at least one game parameter for a game to be played using the electronic scoring system and an overlay video request. The method further includes the user device receiving, from the data transmission module a first score of the game, a second score of the game, and a first recorded video of the game. The first recorded video includes a graphical overlay generated by the electronic scoring system. Updates to the graphical overlay, are generated by the electronic scoring system in response to changes to at least one of the first score of the game or the second score of the game.
ROBOTIC MINIATURE GOLF
A game played on a miniature golf course is provided that includes two or more robots, each individually assigned to a player. A remote controller is individually assigned to each of the players for control of one of the two or more robots. A color-coded ball unique from the others is individually assigned to each of the players. A method of playing a golf game is also provide that includes the assignment to each player of a controller, the controller directing the operation of a specific robot. The player strikes a ball unique to the each of the players with the robot through controls passed through the controller on a miniature golf course hole with the object of urging the ball into a cup on the miniature golf course hole. The players can compete to do so by various metrics.
GAMES PLAYED WITH ROBOTS
A robotic gaming system is provided that includes a playing surface, a ceiling above the playing surface and a subfloor below the playing surface. At least one robot is controlled by a player to navigate on the playing surface, above the subfloor, or below the ceiling to interact with a plurality of scoring elements. A sensor associated with a scoring element identifies when a robot successfully interacts with the scoring element to score points.
Machine for pinball-type recreational games
The invention relates to a machine (1) for pinball-type recreational games, characterized in that it comprises a module for the monitoring and storage (2) of operative variables of the machine (1), comprising means for communication with remote storage and control equipment (9), where said monitoring and storage module (2) also comprises the following elements: at least one CPU (4) connected to a plurality of sensor elements; at least one data-receiving and data-encoding device (3) connected to said CPU (4); at least one multimedia support unit (5); at least one electronic purse (6); and an electromechanical counting device (7) for counting the number and amplitude of the electric pulses received from said electronic purse (6).
Games played with robots
A robotic gaming system is provided that includes a plurality of modular wall sections placed on playing surface. At least one robot is controlled by a player to navigate on the playing surface and interact with a plurality of scoring elements on the walls. A sensor associated with a scoring elements identifies when the robot successfully interacts with the scoring element to score a point.
Display for a pinball game
A pinball machine or other entertainment device is provided that includes a video display and one or more sensors proximal to the display that can detect proximity of or contact with an object such as a pinball. Graphical images and/or animations can then be shown on the display, such that the images appear to directly interact with, or result from apparent contact with, the pinball or other object to provide an enhanced gameplay experience for the player.
Games played with robots
A robotic gaming system is provided that includes at least one sensor placed on a playing surface. At least one robot is controlled by a player to navigate on the playing surface and manipulate at least one target towards a gate. The sensor is operative for identifying when the target is moved to a scoring region of the playing surface.
