Body mount and retractor for support of hands free portable power, video enhancement, and data transfer between wireless devices
This invention is embodied in a body mount and retractable lanyard that enables its user to pull and retract a device perpendicularly from the face of a spool connected to a user. In this way, the body mount enable its user to access hands-free portable power, video and data transfer for public safety personnel and others operating in extreme and challenging environmental conditions.
RETRACTABLE REEL BADGE
A double retractable reel badge is presented. The double retractable reel badge has a reel which has multiple coils. The first coil is used for extending or retracting a first line and a second coil is used for extending or retracting a second line. The first line and the second line can be actuated separately, thus a user is able to extend the first line or the second line or extend both. The user may also extend one of the first or second lines and retract the other first or second line. The user may also retract both lines simultaneously. The first line and second line each have a connector for connecting items, each may have different items for use in their jobs.
RETRACTABLE STRAP FOR LAPTOP COMPUTERS
A retractable strap for a laptop computer and/or computer case is presented. The retractable strap has connectors on both ends of the retractable strap. The connectors at the ends of the retractable strap connect to the laptop or to the laptop or computer case. The retractable strap further has a coil for winding and unwinding, via a button, of the retractable strap. The coil is contained in a container, which is generally rectangular. The container is customizable in color, pattern, logo, images, etc., as is the retractable strap. The retractable strap may also have a padding which is useful for a user to avoid the stress and strain that may be caused by the retractable strap when using for long periods of time.
Retracting device for mounting to a web strap
Retractors and vests having the retractors are disclosed, wherein the retractor can be attached by an attachment mechanism to a web system on the vest. An accessory can be attached to a line within the retractor, and the user can extend the line from the retractor housing when the accessory is in use. When the line is extended from the housing, the retractor housing rotates so it is in alignment with the extended line. This alignment of the housing and line significantly reduces the stresses on the line, which in turn extends the reliability and lifespan of the retractor. Further, the line can be under a retraction force that retracts the line back into the retractor housing when the extension force is released. The retraction force can be strong enough to prevent the line from extending from under weight of the accessory. The retractor can also minimize the dangle length of the retracting device to the attachment point to minimize movement when not in use.
AMBIDEXTURAL RETRACTING REEL AND DEVICE SECURABLE TO AN ARTICLE
A retractor device includes a housing including a back plate, a faceplate spaced apart from the back plate, and a sidewall extending between the back plate and the faceplate. The retractor device also includes a rotatable reel inside the housing, a spring biasing rotation of the rotatable reel in one direction, a tether wound around the rotatable reel, and an end fitting coupled to an end of the tether. A retainer of the housing is in contact with the end fitting when the end fitting is in the retracted position. The retractor device also includes at least one bearing inside the housing proximate to the retainer, and first and second extension openings in the sidewall of the housing on opposite sides of the retainer. The tether is configured to engage the bearing when the tether is extended through one of the first and second extension openings.
System for Preventing Hand Tools from Dropping on the Floor
The presentation provides for a system and method that prevents hand tools that are dropped from hitting the floor by utilizing a wrist band and tether attachment arrangement.
Public hand protection system (PHPS)
A system for mitigating the transmission of infectious threats by providing an easy access to a cloth or mitt attached to a retractable cord to allow the user to grab a doorknob, subway passenger strap or pole without having skin contact with public touched surfaces. A protection cloth and retraction cord are attached to a personal attachment device, which can be worn on a belt, also has a container with sanitation solution that is applied to the protection cloth after use and can also be applied to a person's hands. A second cloth is also used to wipe down surfaces such as seats, knobs, switches, etc. providing a reusable sanitation cloth and refillable sanitation container. The invention will reduce the contact transmission of infectious disease threats in a more convenient method than current traditional methods of disposable cloths or liquids.
GARMENT AND ACCESSORY WITH BAG PULLING SYSTEM
An accessory configured to carry a bag including a first layer of material and a second layer of material. The first layer of material and the second layer of material are configured to form a space therebetween. Additionally, the accessory includes a first opening configured to introduce an object into the space and a second opening in communication with a pulling system, wherein the pulling system is removably connected to an end of the object.
POUCH WITH VIEWING WINDOWS AND ACCESS OPENINGS
A tethered pouch adapted to carry an device, tool or equipment, has a shell with a proximal opening that leads to an interior pocket, wherein the shell is constructed of a first material and a second material where the second material may be configured as a viewing window and the shell has at least one access opening configured to receive a digit of a user's hand for contacting and operating the item, such as a mobile phone.
Tool retaining device
A tool retaining device including a strapping material including pliable material which is adapted to be wrapped around a tool to secure the strapping material to the tool. The strapping material is securely retained to a mounting lug, the mounting lug being securable to a tool by a fastener. A securement device has a slot therein for lockingly receiving the lug, and the lug is removably securable to the securement device.
