RETRACTABLE CAP FOR A NOZZLE OF A CAULKING TUBE RETAINED IN A CAULKING GUN
An apparatus for capping the tip of the nozzle of a caulking tube retained in a caulking gun to prevent the caulking tube from leaking caulking material such as latex or silicone during non-use. The apparatus has a cap portion, a housing portion, and a retractable flexible cord to provide a retractable cap to be used with the caulking tube placed in a caulking gun to prevent leakage when the caulking gun and caulking tube are not in use. The housing contains a retraction member which is placed under force when the cap is pulled away from the retraction member and placed over the tip of the caulking tube nozzle. When the cap is removed from the caulking tube nozzle, the tension from the retraction member causes the flexible cord to pull the cap to a location adjacent the housing so that the cap can be easily retrieved and not lost.
Waist Wearable Fishing Kit
A waist wearable fishing kit enabling impromptu fishing includes a strap and a fishing rod. A first and a second coupler, which are complementary, are coupled to a first and a second end of the strap, respectively. The strap is configured to loopedly position around a waist of a user, positioning the second coupler to couple to the first coupler. A pouch, which is water-impermeable, is coupled to the strap. An aperture that is positioned in a top of the pouch is configured to allow access to the pouch. A closure that is coupled to the pouch proximate to the aperture is positioned to selectively sealably close the aperture. A reel fitted with a line is coupled to the fishing rod, which comprises a plurality of sections that are selectively interconnectable so that the fishing rod is collapsible to stow in the pouch, positioning the user for impromptu fishing.
Holding device for portable equipment items
A holding device for cameras or other portable equipment includes a housing in which a roller element and a return element are arranged. The roller element is rotatably mounted in relation to the housing. A tie for fastening equipment items is completely rolled up on the roller element in an initial state, with only one end thereof protruding from the housing. The return element exerts a tensile force on the roller element so that the tie can be rolled up on the roller element. The tie is unrolled and pulled out of the housing when an external tensile force larger than the tensile force of the return element is exerted on the tie. The tie is rolled up to the initial state into the housing when an external tensile force smaller than the tensile force of the return element is exerted on the tie.
Lanyard with locking arm
A lanyard having a locking mechanism is provided. The lanyard locking mechanism actuates between a locked position and an unlocked position. In the locked position, the lanyard spool is restricted from rotating, and in the unlocked position, the lanyard spool is permitted to rotate with reduced interference from the locking mechanism. The locking mechanism includes biasing components that bias the locking mechanism to remain stationary unless sufficient force is exerted.
Apparatus with self-retracting elastomeric support band
Apparatus selectively attachable to the outer case of a cellular telephone or other similarly sized portable device. The apparatus desirably includes a housing containing an elastomeric band that is principally disposed inside the housing when the apparatus is not in use. The apparatus may include a kickstand and a cardholder. The elastomeric band can be used as a selectively retractable carrying strap when the cell phone or other similar device is not in use. Alternatively, the flexible continuous loop can be used, for example, to support the cell phone around a user's neck for hands-free use when the user is engaged in other activities.
Biomechanical sensing system using wirelessly locatable tags
A posture-monitoring system for monitoring a body posture of a user includes an array of wirelessly locatable tags, including a first tag configured to be positioned along a first shoulder region of the user and having a first battery and a first wireless circuit configured to transmit a first locating signal, a second tag configured to be positioned along a second shoulder region of the user and having a second battery and a second wireless circuit configured to transmit a second locating signal, and a third tag configured to be positioned along a back region of the user and having a third battery and a third wireless circuit configured to transmit a third locating signal. The posture-monitoring system further includes a portable electronic device including a processing unit and a wireless circuit operably coupled to the processing unit and configured to receive the first, second, and third locating signals.
Care clip for handheld devices
A clip device includes a membrane body having a flat surface and a tapered end fixed to the membrane body. The tapered end is clipped to a retractable cord. The flat surface of the membrane body is sandwiched between a case of a handheld device and the handheld device and the tapered end has a portion protruding from the case through an opening of the case.
Handheld Device Fall Arresting Device
A fall arresting device apparatus includes a tensioner pulley device, which has a housing and a reel-tensioned lanyard that is retractably extendible from the housing, a clamp coupled to the tensioner pulley device, the clamp including a lever handle for releasable attachment to a user's person or clothing; and an anchor structure, being coupled to the housing, and attachable to a handheld device of the user.
Portable electronic device case with handle assembly
Systems and methods are involved with but are not limited to an apparatus including a first case portion shaped and sized to receive a tablet-shaped computing device; and a second case portion including a retractable handle, the second case portion configured to removably couple with the first case portion, the retractable handle including an extended position and a retracted position. In addition, other aspects are described in the claims, drawings, and text forming a part of the present disclosure.
GARMENT AND ACCESSORY WITH BAG PULLING SYSTEM
An accessory configured to carry a bag including a first layer of material and a second layer of material. The first layer of material and the second layer of material are configured to form a space therebetween. Additionally, the accessory includes a first opening configured to introduce an object into the space and a second opening in communication with a pulling system, wherein the pulling system is removably connected to an end of the object.
