Cellular Phone Tethering System
A cellular phone tethering system includes a housing that includes a rear wall with a top edge, a bottom edge, a first side edge and a second side edge. An outer wall is attached to and extends along the top edge and at least a portion of each of the first and second side edges. The outer wall extends forward of the rear wall. An inwardly extending lip is attached to and coextensive with an outer edge of the outer wall positioned opposite of the rear wall. The lip is configured to retain a cellular phone in the housing and in abutment with the rear wall. A loop is attached to the housing and a tether is attached to the loop. A reel is attached to the tether and a clip is attached to the reel. The clip is configured to releasably attach the reel to a personal item.
TOOL POUCH WITH RETRACTORS
A tool holder has a pouch with a front panel, back panel, and a closure that opens and closes access to an enclosed pouch compartment. The pouch has an outer tether opening from the pouch compartment to outside of the pouch. The pouch has a retractor pocket with a pocket opening to the outside and an inner tether opening to the pouch compartment. A retractable tether assembly is disposed in the retractor pocket with a tether extending into the pouch compartment via the inner tether opening and attaching to a closed loop connector at the distal tether end. The closed loop connector can be selectively decoupled from the distal tether end and is larger than the tether openings. Each retractable tether may be selectively configured to extend through an outer tether opening for connection to a hand tool located outside of the pouch when the pouch is closed.
Smoker's accessory
A device (1) comprising: a base unit (2); an attachment means (15), connected to the base unit, which can be used to attach the base unit (2) releasably to a user's clothing; a leash arrangement comprising a flexible leash (5) element which may be extended from, and retracted into, the base unit (2); and a holder attached to the leash element (5), the holder (9) being operable to grip and release at least one type of cigarette lighter (25,26,27), wherein: the holder (9) comprises first and second arms (11) which protrude away from a central point and are deflected towards one another to present generally opposed gripping surfaces (13); the arms (11) are formed from a resilient material, allowing the arms (11) to deflect to allow a cigarette lighter (25,26,27) to be placed between the arms (11), so the arms (11) will then exert a gripping force on the lighter (25,26,27); and an adjustment arrangement (14) is provided to allow a user to adjust the distance between the gripping surfaces (12) when the holder (9) is in an undisturbed state.
Attachable Extendable And Retractable Earpiece And Protective Casing Assembly For Mobile Communication And Sound Devices
An extendable and retractable earpiece cable assembly for mobile communication or sound devices including a housing integrally formed with or detachably connected to a casing for protecting a mobile electronic device. The housing receives a mechanism around which at least one earpiece cable is removably wound. The earpiece cable is extendable from and retractable into the housing.
RETRACTING DEVICE FOR MOUNTING TO A WEB STRAP
Retractors and vests having the retractors are disclosed, wherein the retractor can be attached by an attachment mechanism to a web system on the vest. An accessory can be attached to a line within the retractor, and the user can extend the line from the retractor housing when the accessory is in use. When the line is extended from the housing, the retractor housing rotates so it is in alignment with the extended line. This alignment of the housing and line significantly reduces the stresses on the line, which in turn extends the reliability and lifespan of the retractor. Further, the line can be under a retraction force that retracts the line back into the retractor housing when the extension force is released. The retraction force can be strong enough to prevent the line from extending from under weight of the accessory. The retractor can also minimize the dangle length of the retracting device to the attachment point to minimize movement when not in use.
FOREARM MOUNTED HOLSTER FOR QUICK ACCESS TO HANDHELD DEVICE
A forearm mounted holster for stowing and quick release of a handheld device is disclosed. The holster includes a retractable cord attached to the handheld device. The handheld device may be released from its stowed position by performing a chopping motion of the forearm. The retractable cord may stop the handheld device at the user's hand for quick access to the device.
Badge holder incorporating personal safety system
A personal emergency notification system which is incorporated into a badge holder or similar item. This allows for a user to have an emergency notification system attached to a badge, keycard, or other similar access pass that a user will otherwise need to have on their person at work or in another specific environment but otherwise is not necessary. Further, the system can have various automatic features when an emergency is detected in the work area, the system may also be able to recognize when the user is on site, near the site (e.g. in a mustering area or rally point), or offsite and safe. These automatic features may also be used during an evacuation drill to obtain valuable data on area evacuation.
Net Holder
Disclosed embodiments include a net holder system having a net mounted unit couplable with a net, a user-mounted unit couplable with a user, and wherein the net mounted unit also couples with the user-mounted unit to secure the net to the user. In some embodiments the net mounted unit includes a male mounting component and the user-mounted unit includes a female mounting component that couples the net mounted unit to the user-mounted unit.
UTILITY KNIFE WITH RETRACTABLE LANYARD
A utility knife or other small tool with retractable lanyard is disclosed. An example utility knife tool with retractable lanyard includes a tool body having a handle and a blade. A reel is associated with the tool body (e.g., integrated with or connected to), and has a self-retracting mechanism. A lanyard is configured to at least partially unspool from the reel as the tool body is pulled away from the reel, thereby applying tension to the lanyard. The lanyard is also configured to at least partially spool back onto the reel automatically when the tension applied to the lanyard is lessened or fully released. An attachment mechanism on the lanyard is configured to associate the tool body with a person or article associated with the person via the lanyard so that the person can readily locate the tool body for use without having to search for the tool body.
Carrying case
The present invention provides a carrying case including: a first main body having a semi-ellipsoidal shell shape; and a second main body having a semi-ellipsoidal shell shape corresponding to the first main body so that the second main body is coupled to the first main body to define an ellipsoid, in which a coupling end of the first main body, which is coupled to the second main body, has two or more pairs of connected convex portions and two or more pairs of connected concave portions, such that a lateral side at a major axis side has a taegeuk shape, in which a coupling end of the second main body has concave portions formed at positions corresponding to the convex portions of the first main body, and convex portions formed at positions corresponding to the concave portions of the first main body.
