An apparatus for walking an animal, the apparatus including a wearable strap for positioning over a shoulder of a user. The strap has a front portion and a back portion. An attachment device is positioned between the front portion and the back portion. The attachment device is positioned at the bottom of the strap and configured to receive a leash therein. The positioning of the attachment device at the bottom of the canine handling apparatus allows the forces from the leash to be applied to the waistline of the user. A storage pouch is releasably attached to the strap. The storage pouch is configured to store and dispense waste bags and for receiving and containing waste bags filled with waste.

A mobile phone case. A charging cable or an audio cable, or a combination thereof, can be stored within the mobile phone case and deployed outward as desired. Alternatively, the cable can provide the added utility of mounting, hanging, and tying capabilities for attachment of the mobile phone case onto certain physical objects or the human body. A shielding card holder system for providing a versatile protector and holder which shields wireless transmissions from a card such as a smartcard. The shielding card holder system generally includes a card protector adapted to shield wireless transmissions from a card such as a smartcard. A card holder is removably attached to the card protector, the card holder being adapted to removably receive cards of varying thicknesses. A protector magnet on the card protector is adapted to magnetically engage with a holder magnet on the card holder or the card holder itself to removably attach the card holder to the card protector. A securing member may be utilized to secure the card protector against an article of clothing, with the securing member including a securing magnet adapted to magnetically engage with the protector magnet through the clothing.

Disclosed herein is a securement apparatus, such as a lanyard, that has increased tensile strength and shear strength when compared with a conventional securement apparatus. The securement apparatus includes a connector extending from a connector body, a strap coupled to the connector body, and a structural component. The structural component has a tapered geometry such that a first end that is contained within the connector body has a first width and/or height and a second end that transitions from the connector body into the strap has a second width and/or height that is less than the first width and/or height.

A floating beverage holder designed to chill and maintain a cold beverage container in an upright position on water. The beverage holder includes an open cavity sized and shaped to accommodate a desired beverage container, or multiple beverage containers. A first sealed compartment substantially surrounds the cavity and includes a freezable material, such as water, refrigerant or a gel. A second compartment filled with a buoyant and insulative material, such as a polyurethane, substantially surrounds the first compartment. A hard outer shell protects the insulative material of the second compartment. The body of the holder is shaped to provide stability on the water surface.

A wrist strap assembly for a mobile device includes a case and a wrist strap. The case includes a bottom wall. A sidewall is disposed around a perimeter of the bottom wall and extends from the bottom wall to an upper distal end of the sidewall. The sidewall and bottom wall define an inner cavity sized to receive a mobile device therein. A channel is disposed around the upper distal end of the sidewall. The wrist strap is configured to have a stored position and a deployed position. When the wrist strap is in the stored position, the wrist strap is configured to frictionally fit within the channel of the case. When the wrist strap is in the deployed position, the wrist strap is configured to fit around the wrist of a user and to be connected to the case to secure the case to the user's wrist.

A method of creating a shear across a fastener for a tool collet being attached to a hand tool includes providing a tool collet having a collet body with a peripheral body surface and a collet through opening where the collet body is divided into a first body component and a second body component attachable to each other and where one of the first body component and the second body component has a first radial through aperture extending from the peripheral body surface to the collet through opening, providing a setscrew within the first radial through aperture, inserting a hand tool into the collet through opening, securing the first body component to the second body component, and tightening the setscrew against the hand tool sufficient to cause the first body component and the second body component to slide in opposite directions transversely to the portion of the hand tool.

A retractable tool lanyard comprises a housing, a drum rotatably connected to the housing, a biasing member interconnecting the housing and the drum, a cord operatively connected to the drum and adapted to be wound about and paid out from the drum, and an engaging mechanism. The engaging mechanism comprises a locking plate connected to the drum, at least one lock pawl connected to the locking plate, and a ratchet plate. When the drum rotates at a predetermined speed, the at least one lock pawl pivots from an unlocked position to a locked position to engage the ratchet plate thereby rotating the ratchet plate with the drum. At least one of a braking mechanism and a clicker pawl are used to create friction to assist in reducing a rate of rotation of the drum.

A carrying device includes a retractable support system for equipment carried in the hand. In some embodiments, the carrying device comprises a frame assembly for transporting larger loads and optimizing the weight distribution thereof. In some embodiments, the carrying device includes a support shelf. In some embodiments, the carrying device includes an expandable volume.

A lanyard assembly including a strap having a first end and a second end, an attachment mechanism coupled to the first end and a quick connect attachment mechanism connected to the second end. The quick connect attachment mechanism includes a swivel member and a cinch for securing a tool coupled to the swivel member. The swivel member is configured to allow rotation between the cinch and the strap and the quick connect attachment mechanism can be quickly engaged and disengaged from the strap to allow the quick connection of various tools.
