Portable electronic device case with thermal vents
A case for a portable electronic device (PED) is disclosed. The case includes a body having an interior surface configured to accept a PED and an exterior surface to be exposed to outside forces. A back vent that permits the transfer heat away from the PED and to the environment presents through the body of the case. A cushioning member is placed at or near the back vent on the interior surface of the case and may substantially or completely surround the back vent. When a PED is placed within the case, the fit of the PED and the case causes the cushioning member to press against the PED in order to create a cushion for the PED in the event of an outside force being applied to the case. The case may include a screen protector within a frame that attaches to the body.
Mobile phone holder for appendage and method of use
A mobile phone holder that mounts a mobile phone on an appendage such as a limb of a user, an arm of a chair, and the like is disclosed. The mobile phone holder comprises of a cradle having a first arm and a second arm; an elongated member; and a supporter having a first curved member and a second curved member.
Object Supporting Device Adapted to be Fixed to a Finger of a User Hand
An object supporting device (1) is provided, which includes a first element (3) adapted to be fixed to a finger (4) of a user's hand, and a second element (5) adapted to be fixed to said first element (3) and able to support said object (2), wherein said first element (3) includes: a) a main body (10), b) at least one band (6) provided with a first end (6a) fixed to said main body (10) and a second free end (6b), opposite said first end (6a), c) a fixing body (7) fixed to said main body (10) and provided with at least one seat (8), wherein each of said at least one seat (8) is adapted to receive and lock in it said second free end (6b) of said corresponding at least one band (6), so that each of said at least one band (6), once fixed in the corresponding seat (8), forms a sort of a ring adapted to be wrapped around said finger (4), and wherein said first element (3) further includes an internally hollow body (9) fixed to said main body (10) arranged substantially along the longitudinal direction of one of said bands (6).
Gripping accessory for portable electronic devices, gripping accessory group, accessory assembly and method
A gripping accessory for a portable electronic device or for a case of a portable electronic device including a base body having an upper surface, a lower surface, and a side wall is provided. The side wall has a left housing and a right housing suitable for being grasped by a respective finger of a user's hand. A first magnetic element is joined to the base body near the lower surface and is suitable for generating a magnetic field to keep the lower surface stably coupled with the portable electronic device or case. A second magnetic element, different from the first magnetic element, is joined to the base body near the side wall or upper surface. The second magnetic element is suitable for generating a magnetic field suitable for coupling with an auxiliary accessory including magnetic or ferromagnetic material.
Needle receptacle for increased operating room efficiency
Systems, devices and methods to improve safety and efficiency in an operating room comprise providing a suture package that holds new suture needles and needle receptacles for storing used needles. The devices can be safely worn for the surgeon to self-dispense new suture needles in the near surgical field and to secure the used needles into a needle trap or a needle retainer located on his extremity, on his operative instruments or on the surgical drapes. The device may provide automated and/or simplified needle counting both during use and after removal from the surgical field. The device may be configured for ergonomic and efficient use so as to minimize the actions and motions of the surgeon to dispense and secure the needle.
Mounting base for a wirelessly locatable tag
A mounting base for use with a wirelessly locatable tag may include a base portion defining a latching member configured to engage a wirelessly locatable tag to releasably retain the wirelessly locatable tag to the mounting base, a contact block attached to the base portion and configured to be positioned at least partially within a battery cavity of the wirelessly locatable tag, the contact block defining a top side and a peripheral side. The mounting base may further include a first conductive member positioned along the peripheral side of the contact block and configured to contact a first battery contact in the battery cavity of the wirelessly locatable tag, a second conductive member outwardly biased from the top side of the contact block, the second conductive member configured to contact a second battery contact in the battery cavity of the tag, and a power cable coupled to the base portion.
WEARABLE MOBILE DEVICE HOLDER
A wearable mobile device holder, including a main body, including a palm wrap removably connected to at least a portion of a hand of a user to wrap around at least a portion of at least one of a palm and a dorsal side of the hand, and a wrist wrap disposed on at least a portion of the palm wrap and removably connected to at least a portion of a wrist of the user to prevent the palm wrap from falling off the palm, and a magnetic device disposed within at least portion of the palm wrap to magnetically connect a mobile device thereto.
IMPACT ENERGY HARVESTERS FOR SELF-POWERED WRIST-WORN WEARABLES
A wearable device that is capable of harvesting kinetic energy from wrist motions using piezoelectric and/or electromagnetic energy harvesters is disclosed. A first part of the device is worn on the user and second part of the device is movable against the second part to accentuate the frequency of movements.
Wrist-worn device
A wrist-worn device is provided, which includes a device main body and an earphone. An accommodating groove for placing the earphone is provided on the device main body, a key is slidably mounted on one of the device main body and fee earphone. A clamping groove is provided on the other one of the device main body and the earphone, and a snapin head cooperating with the clamping groove is provided at a top of the key. The key is provided with a first attraction portion, the device main body or the earphone having the clamping groove is provided with a second attraction portion, and the first attraction portion is magnetically attracted with the second attraction portion in a case that the key slides forward until the snapin head is inserted into the clamping groove.
