CARD WITH MACHINE-READABLE MARKINGS, SYSTEM AND METHOD
A card includes a substrate having a first surface and a second surface opposite the first surface. The first surface has a first surface area. The card also includes an image area on the first surface. The image area has a second surface area less than the first surface area. The cars further includes a contrast region between the image area and an edge of the substrate. The contrast region is a solid border surrounding the image area. The card additionally includes a plurality of markings extending from the contrast region into the image area. Each marking of the plurality of markings arranged in a pattern such that the markings of the plurality of markings are separated from one another by a portion of the image area.
MANAGEMENT SYSTEM OF GAMING CHIPS AND STORAGE BOX
A system that managing playing cards to which information is given by an RFID tag and gaming chips to which information is given by an RFID tag. A system is provided with a storage box integrally configured to contain a card drawer for storing playing cards and a chip drawer for storing gaming chips, a card RFID reader for reading information of an RFID tag attached to the playing cards stored in the card drawer, and a chip RFID reader for reading information of the RFID tag attached storing gaming chips stored in the chip drawer. A card RFID reader and a chip RFID reader reads information of each RFID tag using different frequencies.
ELECTRONIC CARD READING SYSTEM
The present invention provides an electronic playing card reading device, a system and method thereof for scanning and reading playing cards in a deck. The device recognizes sequence of every card in a deck by scanning a unique barcode which is inscribed on each playing card. The barcode represents characteristics of the playing cards, including value, suit, color, orientation, and the like. The device uses an IR camera to scan the barcodes of the playing cards; uses a processor to analyze and decode the encoded information in the barcodes and determine the characteristics of the playing cards. This further determines the sequence of the playing cards in the deck. Hence, the card reading device allows a performer a myriad of magic tricks. Also, the device communicates with a user device installed with a scanning application that executes instructions to control the device for scanning and perform various effects.
Management system of gaming chips and storage box
A system that manages a package of shuffled playing cards and gaming chips includes a storage box and a control apparatus. The storage box is provided in association with a game table and stores a plurality of shuffled playing cards and a plurality of chip cases and also includes a card reader that reads playing card ID codes of the shuffled playing cards and a chip reader that reads case ID codes of the chip cases. The control apparatus outputs total numbers of the shuffled playing cards and the chip cases stored in the storage box and the playing card ID codes and case ID codes stored in the storage box by monitoring read playing card ID codes and case ID codes.
PROJECTED, INTERACTIVE ENVIRONMENT
An interactive environment image may be projected onto one or more surfaces, and interaction with the projected environment image may be detected within a three-dimensional space over the one or more surfaces. The interactive environment image may be a three dimensional image, or it may be two dimensional. An image is projected onto a surface to provide a visual representation of a virtual space including one or more of the virtual objects, which may be spatially positioned. User interaction with the projected visualized representation of the virtual space may be detected and, in response to user interaction, the projected visualized representation may be changed.
Game ticket sets and system and method for producing same
A printed game card, sheet or ticket set can incorporate multiple individual tickets separated by perforation, scoring or folds, for example. In various embodiments, the game card or sheet is printed with at least one playable game on each individual ticket, wherein the games can be instant win games with game indicia and one or more layers of varnish or rubber-based material that is removable to reveal the indicia. Each ticket on the game card, sheet or ticket set can include individual validation and/or activation indicia. The indicia can be human-readable and/or computer readable. Further, the entire game card, sheet or ticket set can include game or sheet activation indicia, such that when the entire sheet is sold, the entirety of individual game tickets can be activated simultaneously. When the individual game ticket validation codes are read, embodiments of the present invention can operate to individually assess whether the ticket is a winner, as well as whether the ticket has previously been redeemed.
MANAGEMENT SYSTEM OF GAMING CHIPS AND STORAGE BOX
A system manages that managing playing cards to which information is given by an RFID tag and gaming chips to which information is given by an RFID tag. A system is provided with a storage box integrally configured to contain a card drawer for storing playing cards and a chip drawer for storing gaming chips, a card RFID reader for reading information of an RFID tag attached to the playing cards stored in the card drawer, and a chip RFID reader for reading information of the RFID tag attached to the chips stored in the chip drawer. A card RFID reader and a chip RFID reader read information of each RFID tag using different frequencies.
Card recognition system, card handling device, and method for tuning a card handling device
A card recognition system comprises an imaging device configured to capture a raw image of at least a portion of a card, and a processor operably coupled with the imaging device. The processor is configured to perform an image processing analysis of the raw image to identify measurements of at least one of a rank area around a rank of the card, and a suit area around a suit of the card, and automatically generate a calibration file based, at least in part, on the image processing analysis. A card handling device comprises a card infeed, a card output, and a card recognition system. A method for tuning a card handling device comprises capturing a plurality of images from a deck of cards, storing the images in memory, analyzing the plurality of images for card identification information, and generating a calibration file including parameters associated with the card identification information.
Methods for automatically generating a card deck library and master images for a deck of cards, and a related card processing apparatus
A method of automatically generating a calibration file for a card handling device comprises automatically generating a calibration file stored in memory of a main control system for a card handling device. Automatically generating the calibration file comprises identifying at least one parameter associated with a rank area around a rank of at least a portion of the card, identifying at least one parameter associated with a suit area around a suit of the at least a portion of the card, and storing the at least one parameter associated with the rank area and the at least one parameter associated with the suit area in the calibration file. Additionally, a method of automatically generating deck libraries for one or more decks of cards comprises automatically generating a plurality of master images for the cards of the first deck type using the parameters from the calibration file.
