Discharge channel for cutting deck assembly and vehicle including same
Various embodiments of a cutting deck assembly and a grounds maintenance vehicle that includes such assembly. The assembly includes a top surface and a sidewall extending from the top surface. The top surface and the sidewall partially surround a first cutting chamber and a second cutting chamber. The assembly further includes a channel disposed adjacent a rear portion of the sidewall and extending along a channel axis between a first end and a second end of the channel, where the first end of the channel is connected to an outlet of the first cutting chamber; and a ramp disposed at least partially within the channel and adjacent the second end of the channel. The ramp includes a directing surface that is adapted to deflect at least a portion of clippings that enter the channel from the outlet of the first cutting chamber.
Variable basecutter assembly
A basecutter assembly for a sugarcane harvester comprises a first cutter, a second cutter, a first feeder, a second feeder, a cutter drive, and a feed drive. The first and second cutters are adapted to sever sugarcane stalk. The first and second feeders are adapted to feed the severed sugarcane stalk. The cutter drive is coupled to the first cutter and the second cutter to rotate the first cutter and the second cutter respectively about the first rotation axis and the second rotation axis. The feed drive is coupled to the first feeder and the second feeder to rotate the first feeder and the second feeder respectively about the first rotation axis and the second rotation axis. The basecutter assembly may comprise a variator. According to another aspect, the basecutter assembly may comprise a planetary gear set.
Mower combination with location based conveyor control
A mower combination having an agricultural vehicle and a number of mowing units suitable for cutting a standing crop connected to the agricultural vehicle, including a front mowing unit and two lateral mowing units located behind and to the sides of the front mowing unit, each of the lateral mowing units being provided with conveyor units to deposit cut crop as a swath. A control unit receives a plurality of signals, representing the location of the mower combination, a displacement of each of the conveyor units and/or a direction of operation of each of the conveyor units. The control unit receives the plurality of signals and compares them against a predetermined set of values and as required adjusts the displacement or direction of operation of at least one conveyor unit based on this comparison.
GRASS MOWER
A grass mower includes a blade shaft for rotating a blade within a mower deck supported to a vehicle body, a power transmission mechanism for supplying rotational power to the blade shaft, a duct for air-conveying cut grass pieces from the mower deck to the grass collecting bag and a flow boosting device incorporated in the duct. The flow boosting device increases a speed of air flow inside the duct by feeding air through a nozzle opening adjacent an inner circumferential face of the duct along a flow direction of the air flow.
CUTTING DECK ASSEMBLY AND VEHICLE INCLUDING SAME
Various embodiments of a cutting deck assembly and a grounds maintenance vehicle that includes such assembly are disclosed.
Debris diverter for rotary cutterbar
A rotary cutterbar disk hub assembly for diverting debris includes a cutterbar housing defining an internal cavity and a bearing housing defining an axis and coupled to the cutterbar housing. A labyrinth is defined in the bearing housing circumferentially about the axis, and a barrier is formed by the bearing housing at a location radially outward of the labyrinth. A disk hub is positioned concentric with the axis and coupled to the bearing housing and cutterbar housing. The disk hub forms at least one protrusion that extends towards the bearing housing and is radially adjacent to the labyrinth. The barrier restricts a portion of the debris from entering the labyrinth, and the at least one protrusion severs debris that is disposed near the labyrinth as the disk hub rotates.
LAWN CARE VEHICLE
The disclosed technology relates to features provided on a lawn care vehicle. One of the features relates a spring tension assembly incorporated into a deck lift assembly. The spring tension assembly includes a spring body having a plurality of coils along a longitudinal axis between a first end and a second end. The second end of the spring body is configured to define a female threaded portion, which is threadedly engaged by a threaded fastener. Another feature relates to a lawn care vehicle hood assembly that can be assembled in a substantially tool-less manner. Another feature relates to a muffler assembly including a muffler body and a muffler shield assembly having a first wall positioned adjacent a first side of the muffler body and a second wall positioned adjacent a second side of the muffler body.
Rotary Header Windguard
A harvesting header has a set of centrally disposed conditioner rolls comprising conditioning structure to condition crop and a rotary cutter bed. The rotary cutter bed has a plurality of rotary cutters extending across the path of travel of the header to define a cutting plane, each cutter being rotatable about an upright axis, the conditioner rolls being behind the cutter bed to condition crop cut by the rotary cutter bed. The header has a crop-directing header windguard configured to direct the crop down towards the conditioning rolls after the plurality of cutters have severed the crop, the header windguard extending in a rearwardly direction from a position forward of the cutter bed to a position proximate the conditioner rolls, and the header windguard extending transversely at least a width of the rotary cutter bed.
RIDING MOWER
A riding mower includes a mowing assembly including a mowing element and a deck accommodating at least part of the mowing element; a traveling assembly including at least left traveling wheels and right traveling wheels; a traveling electric motor for driving the traveling assembly; a grass collecting pipe connected to the deck to guide grass clippings; and a power supply device configured to supply power to the traveling electric motor. The projection of the grass collecting pipe on a first plane supporting the traveling assembly is at least partially located between the left traveling wheels and the right traveling wheels. The maximum total energy of the power supply device is greater than or equal to 0.5 kW.Math.h and less than or equal to 6 kW.Math.h.
