TRANSMISSION FOR WHEELED MACHINE
A transmission for a manually operated wheeled machine includes an output shaft having a close-ended axial channel. A drive gear mounted on the output shaft includes an engaging groove. A ratchet is received in the channel and is in engagement with the engaging groove. A holder mounted on the output shaft includes a relief that receives the ratchet. A friction member applies radial friction to the holder to temporarily prevent rotation of the holder with the output shaft in a drive condition of the machine moving the ratchet into engagement with the engaging groove, and in the drive condition the drive gear and holder rotate with the output shaft. In a freewheeling condition of the machine the output shaft is stationary, and an overdrive of the drive gear disengages the ratchet from the engaging groove allowing for free rotation of the drive gear about the stationary output shaft.
GARDENING TOOL, PARTICULARLY A MOWER
A gardening tool, such as a mower, has a main body having an accessory, such as a mowing blade, and a motor for driving the accessory. A handle is rotatably connected to the main body. At least one operation assembly is associated with the handle for being operated by a user to control the motor when the handle is located in a predetermined position. A control system prevents the motor from being controlled by the operation assembly and halts the motor when the handle is located out of the predetermined position.
PUSH POWER TOOL
A push power tool includes a motor, a body, a traveling device, a handle, and an operating device. The handle is connected to the body and configured for a user to hold. The operating device is configured for the user to operate. The operating device includes a first operating member and a second operating member. The first operating member is movable relative to the handle to control the traveling mode of the push power tool. The second operating member is movable relative to the handle to control the output power of the push power tool. In the push power tool, the first operating member includes a first operating portion disposed on a side of the handle facing away from the user, and the second operating member includes a second operating portion disposed on a side of the handle facing the user.
PROPULSION CONTROL LOCKOUT AND GROUND WORKING VEHICLE INCORPORATING SAME
A control system for a ground working vehicle. The control system may include a handle assembly including a handle member extending upwardly and rearwardly from a chassis of the vehicle. The control system may also include a speed control apparatus including a control grip operably connected to, and translatable along, the handle member. Translation of the control grip may activate a transmission to move the chassis in the forward direction when the control grip is translated downwardly along the handle member towards the chassis. Further, the control system may include a lockout apparatus movably attached to a handle member. The lockout apparatus may be adapted to selectively and physically restrict movement of the control grip relative to the handle member.
UTILITY MACHINE OPERABLE IN STAND-ON AND WALK-BEHIND MODES
A utility machine, such as an outdoor power equipment unit such as a lawn mower, includes a work unit performing work in addition to motive power for the utility machine and a trailer occupied by an operator in a standing position. The operator may seamlessly step onto the trailer to operate the machine in stand-on mode and step off the trailer to operate the machine in walk-behind mode. The trailer remains in the deployed condition in both stand-on mode and walk-behind mode.
REAR-MOVING POWER TOOL
A rear-moving power tool includes a walking assembly including walking wheels; and a motor configured to drive the walking assembly. The rear-moving power tool has a self-propelled mode, where the self-propelled mode includes a first self-propelled state and a second self-propelled state; and in the second self-propelled state, the motor is capable of rotating at at least one constant rotational speed set according to a parameter of the rear-moving power tool during walking in the first self-propelled state.
GARDEN TOOL
The invention provides a garden tool, which comprises a traveling assembly, a travel-driven assembly and a control assembly. The traveling assembly comprises front wheel and rear wheel.
The travel-driven assembly comprises a front-drive mechanism for driving the front wheel and a rear-drive mechanism for driving the rear wheels. The control assembly controls the work of the front-drive mechanism and the rear-drive mechanism, so as to enable the front wheel and the rear wheel to respectively move forward or backward. Compared with the prior art, the garden tool drives the front wheels and the rear wheels to move forward or backward respectively through the front-drive mechanism and the rear-drive mechanism, and thus not only the garden tool automatically walks backward, but also the traveling assembly can be ensured to obtain sufficient power, thereby the garden tool is prevented from slipping when climbing and retreating.
Walk power mower with ground speed responsive to force applied to a handle grip by the operator
A walk power mower comprises a housing having an upwardly and rearwardly extending handle that is gripped by an operator. A load cell is responsive to the force applied by the operator to the handle during a grass mowing operation. Input from the load cell is used by a control system to vary the ground speed of the mower in accordance with the sensed operator applied force through control of an electric traction drive motor.
ROTATABLE RING CONTROL MECHANISM AND METHOD FOR CONTROL ARM OF WHEELED LAWN CARE MACHINE
A rotatable ring control mechanism is mounted on a control arm of a riding mower and allows a user to control a function of the riding mower. The mechanism includes an inner support component and an outer interface ring. The inner component secures the mechanism to the control arm and includes a signal generating technology receiving a control input and generating a corresponding control signal. The outer ring rotates around the inner component and around a longitudinal axis of the control arm to provide the control input to the signal generating technology.
Hand push lawn mower with a height adjustment assembly
A hand push lawn mower includes a body including a cutting blade and an operating device for a user to operate and connected to the body. The body includes a deck, a motor, a height adjustment assembly and a grass baffle. The motor is configured to drive the cutting blade to rotate. The height adjustment assembly is used to adjust the deck to move up and down. The grass baffle is configured to prevent grass clippings from splashing towards the back of the hand push lawn mower. When the height adjustment assembly adjusts the height of the deck, a displacement of the grass baffle in a vertical direction is less than a displacement of the deck in the vertical direction.
