The blade assembly is connected to the cutting deck to rotate along with the cutting deck. The blade assembly includes a blade provided with a cutting portion and a protective member disposed outside the blade to avoid mistouching the cutting portion, the blade is connected to the cutting deck, and at least a part of a lateral edge of the cutting portion is exposed from the protective member to facilitate cutting. In this way, the arrangement of a protective member can prevent a cutting portion of a blade from directly contacting a person, to prevent the person from being cut by the blade, so that the use safety of the lawnmower can be improved, the blade can be protected, and the service life of the blade can be extended.

LAWN MOWER EXTENSION
A lawnmower trimming and edging extension is attached to a lawnmower. The lawnmower has a motor, a deck, and a push handle. The lawnmower extension includes a trimmer motor having a shaft and a self-feeding string trimmer cutter coupled to the shaft. The trimmer motor coupled to the deck and oriented the self-feeding trimmer cutter to cut an area about the deck. The trimming extension controls electrically connects the trimmer motor to an electrical power source and the trimming extension controls. An outside protective plate is coupled to an inside protective plate by a trimmer-edger hinge and to the deck. The trimmer-edger hinge pivots the inside protective plate between a horizontal position and a vertical position. The trimmer motor is coupled to the inside protective plate such that is self-feeding trimmer cutter is oriented as the inside protective plate when it pivots between the horizontal position and the vertical position.

Lawnmower mulch plug ramps to improve mulching performance
A lawnmower with a mulch plug with a plurality ramps for deflecting lawn clippings out of a cutting deck with more than one depth planes. The mulch plug is configured to attach to the lawnmower by one or more attachment points to block a collector opening of the lawnmower. The plurality of ramps comprises a first ramp and a second ramp on the lower plane of the cutting deck extending downward from the mulch plug. The second ramp is positioned further in the cutting rotation of the lawnmower on a trailing edge of the mulch plug. The secure attachment of the mulch plug with a plurality of ramps provides a more even distribution of grass clippings.
