ORAL PRODUCTS WITH IMPROVED BINDING OF ACTIVE INGREDIENTS

The disclosure provides products configured for oral use, the products including compositions comprising a filler component including negatively charged groups and an active ingredient including positively charged groups. The active ingredient can be retained by the filler component at least in part through bonding between the negatively charged groups and the positively charged groups such that active ingredient may be release from the product when positioned within an oral cavity of a consumer.

ORAL COMPOSITION AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURE

The disclosure provides products configured for oral use and methods for preparing such products. In some embodiments, oral products described herein may comprise an active ingredient in an amount of 10 weight percent or less, a sugar alcohol, and a gum, such that the product is in the form of a pastille. In some embodiments, oral products described herein may comprise an active ingredient in an amount of about 10 weight percent or less, a sugar substitute, and a sugar alcohol syrup, such that the product is in the form of a lozenge.

FIBER-WRAPPED SMOKELESS TOBACCO PRODUCT

A fiber-wrapped smokeless tobacco product includes smokeless tobacco and a plurality of polymeric fibers surrounding the smokeless tobacco. The polymeric fibers can have a basis weight of 5 gsm or less and a diameter of less than 100 microns. In some cases, the polymeric fibers are melt-blown polymeric fibers. In some cases, the polymeric fibers are centrifugal force spun polymeric fibers. A method of preparing a fiber-wrapped smokeless tobacco product includes melt-blowing or centrifugal force spinning a plurality of polymeric fibers to create an polymer deposition zone and passing a body comprising smokeless tobacco through the polymer deposition zone. In some cases, an electrostatic charge can be applied to the plurality of polymeric fibers, the body, or a combination thereof. In some cases, a spin is applied to the body when passing through the polymer deposition zone.

USE OF PECTIN OR OTHER ANIONIC POLYMERS IN THE STABILIZATION AND CONTROLLED RELEASE OF NICOTINE IN ORAL SENSORIAL TOBACCO PRODUCTS OR NICOTINE CONTAINING NON-TOBACCO ORAL SENSORIAL PRODUCTS

The use of pectins and/or polymers to prevent nicotine oxidation in tobacco containing products is disclosed. These polymers may be naturally occurring anionic polymers or synthetic polymers. These pectins and/or polymers prevent nicotine from oxidizing into cotinine, nicotine-cis-N-oxide, nicotine-trans-N-oxide, and/or nicotine-1,1-di-N-oxide. Molluscicides, algaecides, pesticides, and stabilized nicotine compositions comprising nicotine and pectin, anionic polymers, or combinations thereof are disclosed.

Flavoured moist oral pouched nicotine product comprising monoglyceride

The present disclosure relates to an oral pouched nicotine product comprising a moist filling material and a saliva-permeable pouch of a packaging material enclosing the moist filling material, wherein the moist filling material comprises a particulate non-tobacco material; a non-encapsulated non-particulate flavouring agent; a nicotine source; a pH adjusting agent; a monoglyceride; and tobacco material within the range of from 0% to % by weight, based on the total weight of the moist filling material.

AN AEROSOL-FORMING SUBSTRATE

An aerosol-forming substrate for an aerosol-generating system is provided, the aerosol-forming substrate including: one or more aerosol formers, the aerosol-forming substrate having an aerosol former content of greater than 30 percent by weight; hydroxypropylmethyl cellulose; and one or more cellulose based strengthening agents including cellulose powder, the aerosol-forming substrate having a cellulose powder content of between about 0.5 percent by weight and about 50 percent by weight.

NICOTINE GEL

A gel composition is provided, including an alkaloid compound, or a cannabinoid compound, or both an alkaloid compound and a cannabinoid compound; glycerol; a viscosifying agent; a hydrogen-bond crosslinking gelling agent; and an ionic crosslinking gelling agent; and an acid.

ORAL PRODUCT WITH CELLULOSIC FLAVOR STABILIZER

The disclosure provides products configured for oral use, the products including a mixture of a particulate filler component, a cellulose derivative, water, and one or more flavoring agents. The products exhibit greater stability over time with respect to flavor component concentration than comparative products which do not contain a cellulose derivative.

POUCHED PRODUCTS WITH ENHANCED FLAVOR STABILITY

The disclosure provides products configured for oral use, the products including a mixture of a particulate filler, water, one or more organic acids, and one or more flavoring agents, the product having a pH value of less than about 7.0. The products exhibit greater stability over time with respect to whiteness and/or flavor component concentration than products which do not contain one or more organic acids.

Chewing gum having encapsulated cannabinoids

A cannabinoid compound for inclusion into a chewing product, having an active emulsion having a cannabinoid resin with a concentration of about 0.00% to about 100% THC, preferably 81.64% THC in a mixture of 816.4 mg THC/1 g concentrate in a mixture having a ratio of the following ingredients: gum arabic approximately 20.00% to approximately 50.00%, preferably 39.18%, water approximately 30.00% to approximately 60.00%, preferably 46.55%, vitamin E as d-alpha tocopherol from 0.00% to approximately 4.70%, preferably 4.70%, polysorbate 80 (surfactant/emulsifier) approximately 0.00% to approximately 1.5%, preferably 1.18%, and cannabinoid concentrate THC@0.00%-100%, from approximately 1.00% to approximately 50.00%, preferably 8.39%.
