HEAD-MOUNTED WELDING MASK
20220071334 · 2022-03-10 ·

The present disclosure provides a head-mounted welding mask, which includes a mask shell, a head-mounted mechanism, and a flip device, the flip device includes a knob which is connected to the mask shell, a link mechanism which is connected to the knob, and a base which is connected to the head-mounted mechanism, the link mechanism is disposed on the base, when the knob is moved, the knob drives the link mechanism to reciprocate in an arc, so that the mask shell flips relative to the head-mounted mechanism, and the barycenter of the mask shell moves into a predetermined range that is determined based on the gravity line where the barycenter of the head-mounted mechanism is located. The flip device changes the position of the barycenter of the mask shell through the movement of the link mechanism, so that the barycenter of the mask shell moves into a predetermined range that is determined based on the gravity line where the barycenter of the head-mounted mechanism is located. And reduces the pressure on welder's head after the mask shell is flipped up.

A visor locking mechanism is applied to a helmet equipped with a visor. The visor is provided on an inner side of an outer shell of the helmet which has a facial opening in a front side thereof. The visor is attached to a pair of left and right holders which are pivotably attached to the outer shell. The visor is configured to close or open at least part of the facial opening. A lock member that has an operation portion and a catch portion is disposed near at least one of the pair of holders. The operation portion allows the catch portion to fit together with or disengage from a catch counterpart portion provided at the pair of holders, whereby the visor becomes anchored or released.

VISOR CARRIER ASSEMBLY
20210307448 · 2021-10-07 ·

A visor carrier assembly for a safety helmet, comprising: a visor; and an attachment device for attaching the visor to a safety helmet for use, the attachment device including a double-pivot mechanism attachable to each side of a safety helmet and configured to enable the visor to be selectively pivoted relative to said safety helmet, in use, between at least first, second and third visor positions, each double-pivot mechanism comprising an elongate arm, said elongate arm being coupled, by a first pivotal coupling at one end thereof, to a respective side region of the visor and coupled, by a second pivotal coupling at a longitudinally opposing second end thereof, to a fixed point, in use, at a respective side of said safety helmet, each pivotal coupling comprising a coupling member and a coupling region, each coupling member comprising a fixed elongate pin having rounded portions at each end, each coupling region comprising an aperture defining, along its inner edge, a first notch or aperture within which one of the rounded portions of a respective coupling member is received to define a fixed pivot point, and an arcuate guide wall with which the opposite rounded portion of said respective coupling member engages and having a plurality of ridges defining grooves or notches for receiving said opposite rounded portion as a respective pivotal coupling is pivoted about said fixed pivot point, each said groove or notch defining a respective said visor position, a visor carrier assembly for a safety helmet.

Protective helmet with a retractable and removable visor

A protective helmet adapted to receive and protect a head of a wearer comprises: an outer shell shaped to protect the head of the wearer, with the outer shell defining a bottom opening and an internal cavity for receiving the head of the wearer; a headband and a suspension positioned within the internal cavity of the outer shell; and a visor rotatable between a retracted position within the outer shell to an extended position in front of a face of the wearer, wherein the visor simultaneously rotates about a first pivot axis and a second pivot axis as it moves between the retracted position and the extended position. The visor can also be readily removed from the protective helmet and easily replaced should it become damaged.

HELMET WITH GEAR-CONSTRAINT TRANSFORMABLE CHIN GUARD STRUCTURE
20210274877 · 2021-09-09 · ·

A helmet with a gear-constraint type transformable chin guard structure may include a shell body, a chin guard and two branches on the chin guard, wherein a supporting base, the branch, an inner gear, an outer gear and a drive member form an associated mechanism, the inner gear and the outer gear are rotatable about fixed axes and constitute a meshing constraint pair, the inner gear and the branch are in sliding fit with each other and constitute a sliding constraint pair, and the drive member transfer the motion of the outer gear to the branch and causes the chin guard to make an extension/retraction displacement relative to the shell body, such that the chin guard makes an turnover motion while also recombining a reciprocating motion, thereby realizing a transformation between a full-helmet position and a semi-helmet position.
