SHIELD ROTATION CONTROLLING MEANS
The present disclosure relates to a shield rotation controlling means. The shield rotation controlling means according to the present disclosure comprises: a support member (100) supporting a shield (20) and rotating about a base member (300); and a stopping means (200) coupled to the support member (100) and provided with elasticity in the direction of the base member (300), the support member (100) stopped by means of the elasticity of the stopping means (200).
Hard Hat Face Shield Attachment System
Various face shield assemblies for hard hats are described. In one embodiment, the face shield assembly includes a hard hat, a mounting bracket, a face shield, a first pivot arm and a second pivot arm. The first pivot arm and second pivot arm are pivotally coupled to the hard hat and rotate with respect to the mounting bracket and the face shield. The face shield is coupled to the first pivot arm and the second pivot arm. The face shield actuates between stowed and operating positions such that the face shield can avoid objects near a front of the hard hat, such as a bill and/or lamp. In other embodiments the face shield assembly includes an adjustable frame coupled to the face shield and the hard hat. The adjustable frame rotates and/or slides with respect to the hard hat.
ROTATING MEANS FOR HELMET
The present disclosure relates to a rotating means for a helmet, and the rotating means for the helmet according to the present invention comprises a rotary shaft (100) which allows a shield (30) to be rotatably coupled to a helmet body (10) so that an opening portion (20) of the helmet body (10) is opened/closed by the shield (30), and when the shield (30) is rotated in the direction of closing the opening portion (20), the rotary shaft (100) is moved to the rear direction with respect to the helmet body (10).
Shield lock mechanism and helmet
A shield lock mechanism for attachment to a shell includes a holding member configured to be moved by an external operation between a holding position at which a shield is held and an attachment-detachment position at which the shield can be attached or detached, a biasing member configured to constantly bias the holding member toward the holding position, and a restriction member configured to be moved by an external operation between a restricting position at which movement of the holding member arranged at the holding position is restricted and a cancelling position at which the restriction is cancelled.
HELMET SLIDE ASSEMBLY
A helmet slide assembly is attached to a helmet and functioning to enable a tilting of a visor relative to the helmet. The helmet assembly includes a base plate that is attached to a sidewall of the helmet and a slide plate disposed substantially in a parallel arrangement relative to the base plate and secured to a sidewall of the visor. The slide plate has an elongated slot for receiving a pivot member. The assembly also includes a pivot plate having locked and unlocked positions. The pivot member is secured at one end thereof to the pivot plate and the slide plate is constructed and arranged for a sliding motion once the pivot plate is unlocked.
PROTECTIVE HELMET
A motorcycle helmet, having a helmet shell, a chin part for covering a chin portion of a wearer, and a visor, uses a coupling mechanism by means of which the chin part is fastened to the helmet shell and pivotable between a lower position and an upper position. With the chin part in the lower position, by means of the coupling mechanism, the visor can assume a respective pivoting position between a closed position and an open position. The coupling mechanism is further designed, upon pivoting of the chin part from the upper position into the lower position after the chin part has previously been pivoted from the lower position into the upper position, to cause the visor to occupy a pre-pivoting position differing from the closed position, which pre-pivoting position the visor occupied before the pivoting of the chin part from the lower position into the upper position.
Face Shield with Debris/Dust Control
Various embodiments of face shield assemblies for hard hats are provided. The face shield assemblies include structures that block, control, or capture dust and debris to reduce the amount of dust or debris that falls onto the wearer's face during use. Some embodiments of the face shield assemblies include a hinge that includes a pivot projection having pivot wings that are inserted into a slot of a pivot receiver.
Helmet with transformable jaw protecting structure based on gear constraint
The invention belongs to the technical field of helmets and relates to a helmet with a transformable jaw protecting structure, wherein a jaw protector is reliably transformed between a full-face helmet position and a half-face helmet position in a gear constraint structure and mode, and the uniqueness and reversibility of a kinematical and geometrical locus of the jaw protector can be kept everywhere during a round trip. The helmet according to the invention has the greatest advantages that: the integrity of a whole structure of the mount and the jaw protector can be kept while implementing a transformable jaw protecting structure of the helmet in the meanwhile, thus ensuring that these core members have higher intensity and rigidity, and effectively enhancing the use safety of the helmet; in addition, an exposed slit may be dramatically reduced or even completely eliminated, buzzing noises derived by flowing an air current through a helmet housing surface and rainwater invasion may be significantly reduced, and a wearing comfort of the helmet is effectively improved; and besides, the difficulty in assembling the mount and the jaw protector is reduced and a precise gear engagement and constraint structure is adopted, so that the quality reliability of a helmet product can be effectively improved.
PROTECTIVE HELMET WITH A RETRACTABLE AND REMOVABLE VISOR
A protective helmet adapted to receive and protect a head of a wearer comprises: an outer shell shaped to protect the head of the wearer, with the outer shell defining a bottom opening and an internal cavity for receiving the head of the wearer; a headband and a suspension positioned within the internal cavity of the outer shell; and a visor rotatable between a retracted position within the outer shell to an extended position in front of a face of the wearer, wherein the visor simultaneously rotates about a first pivot axis and a second pivot axis as it moves between the retracted position and the extended position. The visor can also be readily removed from the protective helmet and easily replaced should it become damaged.
