HINGEPLATE MECHANISM
A closed face motorcycle helmet includes a shell with an eyeport and a shield attached for hinged or pivoted motion between a closed or lowered position covering and sealing the eyeport and an open position or raised position displaced above the eyeport. A hinge plate is attached to the shell on each side and includes a moving pivot socket into which a hub of the shield is rotatably disposed for hinged movement and rearward movement of the shield between the raised and lowered positions.
PROTECTIVE HELMET
Protective helmet to be worn and to protect the head of a user against impacts and including a rigid outer shell delimiting an inner space for housing the head of user and including a front opening. The protective helmet includes a shield removably coupled to the outer shell and adapted to move at least between an operative position wherein the shield covers the front opening without allowing entrance of air in the inner space and an inoperative position wherein the inner space is accessible from the outside through the front opening, the shield being provided with a front hole. The protective helmet includes a locking device to lock the shield in the operative position. The locking device is positioned on the outer shell and includes a rotatable engaging member to engage the front hole of the shield when in the operative position.
PROTECTIVE HELMET
In a protective helmet, in particular a sports helmet, with a shock-absorbing helmet shell and a visor, on each of two opposite sides of the protective helmet, a coupling section of the helmet shell and a coupling section of the visor are formed, one of which is configured as a coupling receptacle and the other as a coupling extension and in such a way that, the coupling extension may engage in the coupling receptacle in order to connect the visor to the helmet shell. The coupling extension is displaceable in the coupling receptacle along a displacement path between an initial position and an advance position and is pivotable about a pivot axis between the advance position and an open position.
Bicycle helmet with visor
An improved bicycle helmet includes an inner layer having a concave shape, an outer layer having a convex shape, and a sun visor. The outer layer covers the inner layer and includes an outer layer attachment member and an outer layer lock member. The sun visor includes a shade member and a sun visor attachment member connected to and distal to the shade member. The sun visor attachment member is adapted to rotatably engage with the outer layer attachment member to form a fulcrum. The sun visor lock member is adapted to operatively engage the outer layer lock member so as to releasably lock the sun visor into a fixed position. The sun visor lock member and the outer layer lock member operatively engage so as to allow the sun visor to be releasably locked into one of a plurality of fixed positions. the sun visor attachment member and the outer layer attachment member rotatably engage via a snap fit fastener.
SPORT HELMET ASSEMBLY
A sport helmet assembly includes a helmet with a helmet shell and a visor. On its front side, the helmet shell with a helmet shell edge defines an upwardly-limited facial clearance. The visor includes upper and lower visor edge regions. A left bearing arrangement for the visor has a left sliding guide and a left pivot axis, and a right bearing arrangement for the visor has a right sliding guide and a right pivot axis for pivoting and displacing the visor by the bearing arrangements during a manually executed displacement movement. An available displacement length of the sliding guides and a thickness of the sealing element on the visor measured from a visor inner side in the direction of a helmet rear head side are dimensioned such that the sealing element is pressable against face portions below the user's eyes in the visor closed position by the sliding guides.
WEARABLE HEAD-PROTECTING SAFETY DEVICE
The present invention relates to the technical field of head protection equipment, in particular to a wearable head-protecting safety device, including a helmet body provided with oppositely arranged mounting seats on both sides near the lower edge thereof and a quick-release adapter assembly in form of a mask structure, wherein the quick-release adapter assembly is provided with a quick-release mechanism cooperating with the mounting seat at both ends near the upper edge thereof, the quick-release mechanism being relatively rotatable and detachably connected to the mounting seats, and wherein the quick-release adapter assembly is a grinding flip assembly or a welding flip assembly. It is possible to achieve switching of various types of masks through the quick-release adapter assembly detachably connected to the helmet body. Compared with prior art, the present invention can be applied to various scenarios through mask switching, improving the applicability of the wearable head-protecting safety device.
Device for connecting lens and earmuff to safety helmet
A device for connecting a lens and an earmuff to a safety helmet is disclosed. The device includes a retaining frame, two pivot members and two connecting units. The retaining frame includes a pivot portion on either side thereof and an engaging block on the pivot portion. The pivot members are pivotally connected to the pivot portions, respectively. The pivot member has a slide portion having a first groove. The first pressing block is positioned in the first groove. The pivot member further includes a positioning strip having a plurality of second grooves. The connecting unit has a second slide groove. The positioning strip is inserted and slidable in the second slide groove. A second pressing block is disposed on an inner wall of the second slide groove. The second pressing block is pressed into any one of the second grooves in a multi-step manner.
