ATTACHMENT FOR A HAIRCARE APPLIANCE

An attachment is described for a haircare appliance. The attachment includes an inlet for receiving an airflow, and a plurality of outlets through which the airflow is discharged. The attachment further includes one or more members moveable between a first position and a second position. The airflow is discharged from the outlets in a clockwise direction when the members are in the first position, and the airflow is discharged from the outlets in a counterclockwise direction when the members are in the second position.

A hair dryer and dryer system mountable between a pair of wall panels includes a hollow cylindrical housing having open inlet and outlet ends and a passageway extending therebetween, a group of co-operative components supported by the housing in communication with its passageway and co-operable to induce an inflow of unheated air into the housing open inlet end and an outflow of heated air from the housing open outlet end, a threadably adjustable annular coupler at the housing open inlet end, and an annular flange at the housing open outlet end. The annular coupler and annular flange together enable the housing to be disposed between and clamped respectively to the wall panels with the open inlet and outlet ends of the housing respectively occupying the first and second openings of the wall panels.

Hair dryer attachment

A blow dryer attachment for vectoring directional flow of an airstream exiting a barrel of a blow dryer. The attachment features at least two body components in an articulated engagement having a central passage which may be curved by such articulation to reposition and exit aperture in a nozzle end opposite a connection to a blow dryer. A flexible coupling may be provided as an interface to connect the device to a broader range of blow dryers. A rotational engagement of the first component to the blow dryer allows for rotation of the exit aperture around the axis of the blow dryer barrel for additional adjustment of the angle and direction or vector angle of the exiting airstream from the attachment.

DRYER

A dryer includes a hollow casing, a fan disposed inside the casing so as to cause air to be introduced into the casing and to be discharged therefrom, a heater disposed inside the casing to heat the air introduced into the casing by the fan, and a discharge tube including an inlet into which the air is introduced, and an outlet from which the air is discharged. The fan includes a first fan and a second fan, which rotate in opposite directions about an imaginary axis shared by the first and second fans. A discharge amount or a discharge rate can be controlled in a stepwise manner. The discharge tube is disposed inside the casing so as to be rotated in at least one direction, thereby diffusely discharging drying air to a region desired to be dried.

DRYER

A dryer includes a hollow casing having an open front, a fan configured to introduce air into the casing and blow the air, a heater configured to heat the air introduced into the casing, a discharge tube disposed at a downstream side of the fan to be thereby rotatable inside the casing, and having an air inlet formed at a rear and an air outlet formed at a front, a motor configured to generate power for driving the discharge tube, and having a rotation shaft, and a connector connected to the rotation shaft so as to enable the discharge tube to be rotated about a first axial line of the rotation shaft, and connected to the discharge tube so as to enable the discharge tube to be rotated about a second axial line forming a predetermined angle relative to the first axial line.

Attachment for a hand held appliance

A hairdryer including: a handle; a body comprising a duct extending within the body; a fluid flow path extending through the duct from a fluid inlet through which a fluid flow enters the hairdryer to a fluid outlet for emitting the fluid flow from a front end of the body; a primary fluid flow path extending at least partially through the body from a primary fluid inlet through which a primary fluid flow enters the hairdryer to an annular primary fluid outlet at a front end of the body; a fan unit for drawing the primary fluid flow through the primary fluid inlet; and an attachment for adjusting at least one parameter of fluid emitted from the hairdryer, the attachment being attachable to the hairdryer so that the attachment protrudes from the front end of the body, wherein the attachment is configured to inhibit the generation of the fluid flow.

HAIRCARE APPLIANCE

A haircare appliance having an air inlet, an air outlet, and an airflow generator for generating an airflow from the air inlet to the air outlet and an attachment for a haircare appliance, the attachment including an air inlet, an air outlet. A curved surface adjacent to and downstream of the air outlet. The haircare appliance or the attachment has a curved surface adjacent to and downstream of the air outlet. The haircare appliance or the attachment is configured such that airflow exiting the air outlet generates a first force to attract hair toward the curved surface, and a second force to push hair away from the curved surface.
