A beverage preparation machine comprising: a beverage preparation module comprising an extraction unit to extract an ingredient of a beverage from capsule supplied thereto or an ingredient container which is part thereof; a fluid supply comprising the components a fluid heater, a fluid pump, optionally a fluid reservoir; a first module movably connected to the beverage preparation module; wherein the beverage preparation machine further comprises a second module movably connected to the first module, the first module comprising the fluid pump and/or the fluid heater, the second module comprising the said components of the fluid supply different to those of the first module, the components comprising at least one of the fluid pump or fluid heater or fluid reservoir.

The present invention relates to a device for preparing an aromatized beverage capable of extracting aromas from a powder pod containing them, said device having: a first part (1-1), and a second part (1-2) of a same longitudinal axis (XX′), and first means for coaxial horizontal relative translation and/or rotation displacement (XX′) of said first male part and second female part, and a third part (4) delimiting an initial insertion compartment (6) and a discharge compartment (7) between said first and second parts in an open position with maximum separation, said third part having an orifice (4b), able to be crossed by at least one of both first and second parts, said third part being able to pivot in a synchronized way with a said relative translation and/or rotation of both first and second parts.

A single cup capsule brewing machine which incorporates a device for automatically brewing and dispensing single cups of coffee, or other beverages, the device containing a receptacle for receiving a single serve capsule, a housing for raising or lowering onto the capsule, and process the capsule during various sequences of operation of the brewing machine, an upper housing raising or lowering onto the capsule to attain sequential piercing of the capsule through an inlet probe and then an outlet probe, and for preparing a hot beverage for individual consumption, and then a lower housing that moves along an arc to provide for alignment of the capsule for a brewing cycle, or for shifting forwardly for interconnection of a capsule in preparation of a brewing cycle, or for shifting the capsule rearwardly for its disposal after performance of a brewing cycle.

A beverage extracting device according to an embodiment of the present invention may comprise: an extracting part including an installing space in which a beverage capsule is installed; an opening and closing part connected to the extracting part, for opening or sealing the installing space; a link part connected to at least one from among the extracting part and the opening and closing part; and a perforating part for moving reciprocally according to the movement of the link part so as to perforate the beverage capsule.

Disclosed are a coffee brewing device and a coffee capsule machine having same. The coffee brewing device comprises: a brewing support (10); a capsule holder assembly (4) fixedly installed on the brewing support (10); a movable head assembly (1) installed on the brewing support (10); a driving device configured to drive the movable head assembly (1); and an automatic capsule-dropping mechanism comprising a capsule supporting plate (5), a transmission mechanism and an elastic reset component; wherein the capsule supporting plate (5) is rotatably installed at the bottom of the capsule holder assembly (4) via a rotating shaft (16), and has a supporting position and a non-supporting position; the transmission mechanism is arranged between the capsule supporting plate (5) and the movable head assembly (1), and is configured to drive the capsule supporting plate (5) to rotate from the supporting position to the non-supporting position when the movable head assembly (1) moves away from the capsule holder assembly (4); and the elastic reset component is configured to drive the capsule supporting plate (5) to rotate from the non-supporting position to the supporting position. The coffee brewing device can achieve an automatic capsule-dropping function, is convenient to operate, and has a high degree of safety.

Beverage brewing units particularly for machines for preparing beverages from capsules by centrifugation are disclosed. The beverage brewing units include first and second enclosing parts moveable relative to one another that together define a centrifugal rotating chamber assembly arranged for receiving a capsule and for rotating it for the extraction of the beverage. Also disclosed are beverage production devices that include the beverage brewing units.

The invention relates to a device comprising: a support arranged to receive a capsule containing material to be infused, provided with a front face comprising a filter wall, a ring, a rear face and a solid casing; injection means arranged to introduce an infusion liquid into the capsule; an infusion chamber having a substantially vertical opening arranged to be in fluid communication with the filter wall, said ring comprising sealing means arranged to maintain the fluid communication sealed from the surrounding medium; and an outlet provided with closing/opening means.

An infusion group for machines for the dispensing of beverages in the form of infusion is disclosed. The infusion group has a capsule-holder configured to receive a capsule for the preparation of an infusion beverage, a dispensing head adapted to cooperate with the capsule-holder to form a chamber for the infusion of the capsule. The dispensing head has a dispensing channel, a perforation disc and an associated supporting member mounted on the dispensing head. The dispensing head also has a discharge channel upstream of the dispensing channel. The configuration of the dispensing head is such that the discharge channel is closed when the perforation disc and the supporting member are in the dispensing position and open when they are in the rest position.

A brewing unit includes a first part having a receptacle for receiving a capsule, a cartridge or a compacted pod, a second part movable relative to the first part between an open position in which the first and second parts are at a distance from each other, and a closed position in which the second and first parts are coupled to one another to define a brewing chamber. An electric motor controls movement of the second part relative to the first part. A transmission mechanism arranged between the electric motor and the first or second part comprises a movable member whose position is univocally associated with the relative position of the second part with respect to the first part. An electronic control unit controls the electric motor. A micro-switch switches between an ON operational state and an OFF operational state depending on the position of the movable member.

A machine (1) for preparing and dispensing a beverage has an actuation arrangement (5) that includes an actuator (57) and an actuation transmission (50,510,520,530) actuated by the actuator (57). The actuation transmission (50,510,520,530) has an actuation distributor (50) actuated by the actuator (57) and a first actuation output device (510) having a first input port (511) and a second actuation output device (520) having a second input port (521). The actuation distributor (50) has a first output port (50′) for operating the first actuation output device (510) via the first input port (511) and a second output port (50″) for operating the second actuation output device (520) via the second input port (521). The first actuation output device (510) and the second actuation output device (520) are displaced in a non-identical manner via the first and second output ports (50′,50″).
