Interlocking blending system
A blending system is shown and described herein. The blending system may include a base including a motor, a blade selectively and operably engaged with the base, where the motor rotates the blade, a container having an open end and a lid configured to cover the open end. The blending system may also include an interlock system that may include a plurality of induction coils positioned on the base and the container and be in electrical communication with at least one lid sensor, wherein the power is translated through the induction coils to engage a switch device to complete a power circuit to allow a user to operate the motor of the blender.
MAGNETIC SAFETY DEVICE FOR FOOD PROCESSING MACHINES
A magnetic safety device for food processing machines includes a motor block containing a motor axis, a processing cuvette incorporating a paramagnetic transmitter, and a cover. A rotary downholder rotates on the cover through an opening-closing axis and incorporates an insertion mouth. There is a magnetic detector existing in the motor block and having a tilting positioner body which at one end has a permanent magnet and at the opposite end a rotating bushing capable of receiving the opening-closing axis. In the broken central part of the tilting positioner body, there is at least one abutting protrusion which in its free rotation abuts against at least one abutting and pushing projection of the rotating downholder.
Safety system, a method for selecting an operating mode, and a lid for a kitchen device
A safety system (4) for a kitchen device (1) having a vessel (5) and a lid (21), the safety system (4) comprising: a processor (10); a retaining arm (7) adapted to, in a retaining position, retain the lid (21) against the vessel (5); a first sensor (40) adapted to communicate a retaining signal to the processor (10) when the retaining arm (7) is in the retaining position; and a second sensor (43) adapted to communicate a function signal to the processor (10), the function signal indicating a function of the lid (21), wherein the processor (10) is adapted to select an operating mode of the kitchen device (1) in response to the retaining signal and the function signal.
Mixer with Safety Mechanisms
A blender for processing comestible matter includes a base with a motor, a blade assembly, and a container. The blender further comprises a first safety mechanism and a second safety mechanism. The first safety mechanism functions to ensure that the container is securely attached to the blade assembly before the blade assembly can be mounted to the base. The second safety mechanism functions to ensure the motor in the base can only be powered on when the container and the blade assembly are securely mounted to the base. The blender is operable by affixing the container to the blade assembly, and then the assembly to the base, such that both safety mechanisms are released to permit the motor to be activated.
Wireless food processor discs
A blending system that includes a base that is selectively and operatively engaged with a container is shown and described herein. The base may include a near field communications chip that may communicate with a near field communications chip of a cutting disc. The cutting disc identifies a type of the cutting disc, a position of a chute of a lid or both.
FOOD PROCESSOR NON-CONTACT INTERLOCK
A food processing container includes a food processing chamber and a cover assembly with a latch mechanism operable between latched and unlatched positions. The latch mechanism includes a first magnetic member disposed therein. An interlock assembly is disposed outside of and adjacent to the food processing chamber and includes a sealed cavity with a plunger member moveable disposed within the sealed cavity. The plunger is operable between at-rest and actuated positions within the sealed cavity and includes upper and lower magnetic members disposed at opposite ends of the plunger member. The plunger member moves to the actuated position as the latch mechanism moves to the latched position due to a repulsion force between the first magnetic member and the upper magnetic member, and further wherein the lower magnetic member moves into the lower portion of the sealed cavity as the latch mechanism moves to the latched position.
Blender Container With Latch Release
A system for attaching a blender container to a blade assembly, which comprises a first mechanism to secure a blender container to a blade assembly. Some embodiments of the system include a second latch mechanism to lock the blender container to the blade assembly while the container and blade assembly are mounted to a base for operation of the blender.
BLENDER
Proposed is a blender, in which a blender body operates when closure of the container lid on a container body is detected. In the blender, when the closure of the container lid is detected, power is transmitted from a first inductive coil of the blender body to a second inductive coil of the container body. A transmission module of the container body transmits a signal to a receiving module of the blender body by suing the power transmitted to the second inductive coil. When the signal is received by the receiving module, the blender body detects the closure of the container lid and is operated.
