An electronic dispenser for dispensing flexible sheet material may include a driven feed roller assembly that is operable to dispense the sheet material though a discharge chute of a housing of the dispenser. The feed roller assembly can comprise a feed roller rotatably mounted within the dispenser housing that includes a body having an outer surface against which the sheet material is engaged to feed the sheet material toward the discharge chute, as well as a drive mechanism that is substantially integrated within the body of the feed roller and operable to drive the feed roller. The dispenser also may include one or more pressing rollers biased toward the body of the feed roller so as to engage the sheet material therebetween, and a control system linked to the drive mechanism to control the operation thereof.

An electronic dispenser comprising a housing: a feed roller rotatably mounted within the housing; a motor operable to drive rotation of the feed roller, and wherein the motor is at least partially within the feed roller; and wherein actuation of the motor results in a noise level, external to the housing, of less than 53 A-weighted decibels.

Sheet product dispensers and methods are provided. A sheet product dispenser includes a loading station for sheet material, a sheet feeding mechanism configured to feed the sheet material, a presentation station for presenting one or more discrete sheet products to an end user, a sensor downstream of the feeding mechanism and upstream of the presentation station configured to detect a presence of the discrete sheet products, and a controller configured to facilitate dispensing of the one or more discrete sheet products in response to a signal, and to determine and store data associated with the dispensing of the sheet products.

The present disclosure provides a sheet product dispenser for dispensing individual sheets from a roll of perforated sheet product. The sheet product dispenser may include a housing, a roll support disposed within the housing and configured to rotatably support the roll of perforated sheet product, and a mechanical dispensing mechanism disposed within the housing and configured to guide and advance the sheet product during a dispense cycle, wherein the mechanical dispensing mechanism is further configured to mechanically synchronize the dispense cycle with perforation lines of the sheet product. The present disclosure also provides a sheet product dispenser for dispensing individual sheets from a roll of sheet product that may be non-perforated.

In example, a sheet material dispenser can include a feed roller configured to engage and move the sheet material along a discharge path for dispensing thereof, and a manual dispensing assembly in communication with the feed roller. The manual dispensing assembly can include an engagement portion operatively coupled to the feed roller body for engagement by a user to rotate the feed roller to facilitate dispensing of the sheet material, and an integrated gear clutch configured to control movement of the engagement portion or the feed roller. A dispenser for sheet material may include a feed roller with an integrated cutting mechanism that is movable with the feed roller for at least partially cutting or perforating the sheet material during dispensing thereof.

A sheet material dispenser can include a feed roller configured to engage and move the sheet material along a discharge path for dispensing thereof, and a manual dispensing assembly in communication with the feed roller. The manual dispensing assembly can include an engagement portion operatively coupled to the feed roller body for engagement by a user to rotate the feed roller to facilitate dispensing of the sheet material, and an integrated gear clutch configured to control movement of the engagement portion or the feed roller.
