Delivery system for micrograft for treating intracranial aneurysms

A system for delivering a vascular implant into a body lumen including a vascular implant having a first engagement portion at a proximal portion and an elongated delivery member having a second engagement portion at a distal portion releasably engageable with the first engagement portion. An elongated member extends through the delivery member wherein in the extended position the elongated member extends into at least a portion of the implant to prevent release of the implant from the delivery member and in the retracted position the elongated member enables release of the implant from the delivery member.

INTRASACCULAR STENT DEVICE FOR ANEURYSM TREATMENT
20230031965 · 2023-02-02 ·

A process and system for treating an aneurysm using one or more specifically shaped endovascular coils and an intrasaccular stent/retaining device that operates to hold the one or more endovascular coils or other embolization devices within the aneurysmal sac of the aneurysm, thereby obviating the patients' need for lifetime dual anti-platelet therapy.

Aneurysm neck bridge with a closeable opening or lumen through which embolic material is inserted into the aneurysm sac
11484322 · 2022-11-01 · ·

This intrasacular aneurysm occlusion device includes a neck bridge with a closeable opening through which embolic material is inserted into an aneurysm sac. After the neck bridge has been expanded within the aneurysm sac, a catheter is inserted through the opening and embolic material is delivered through the catheter into the aneurysm sac. After the aneurysm sac has been filled with embolic material, the catheter is then withdrawn and the opening is closed so that embolic material does not escape out of the aneurysm sac.

Medical device and system having such a device

A medical device, having a body that is tubular at least in some sections. The body can be transferred from a compressed state into an expanded state and has a circumferential wall having at least one first lattice structure and one second lattice structure. The first lattice structure and the second lattice structure form separate layers of the circumferential wall, which are arranged coaxially one inside the other and connected to each other at least at points in such a way that the first lattice structure and the second lattice structure can be moved relative to each other at least in some sections. A system having such a device is also disclosed.

Aneurysm occluder
11478251 · 2022-10-25 ·

This invention relates to an aneurysm occluder, and more particularly but not exclusively, to an endovascular aneurysm occluder that can be inserted into an aneurysm cavity by using endovascular surgical procedures. The aneurysm occluder has a deformable housing and an absorber or material that causes blood clotting made of an absorbent material in or attached to the housing.

Methods and systems for treatment of aneurysms
11478371 · 2022-10-25 · ·

A method and device include attaching a tether portion of a sleeve to a distal end of a catheter, placing the distal end of the catheter into a selected position within a vessel, moving a stent through a lumen of the catheter, retentively engaging a first end of the stent with a distal end of the sleeve, and detaching the sleeve about the tether portion such that the sleeve covers at least a portion of the stent at the selected position within the vessel.

Methods and systems for aneurysm treatment using filling structures

Aneurysms are treated by placing a scaffold across an aneurysmal sac to provide a blood flow lumen therethrough. An aneurysmal space surrounding the scaffold is filled with one or more expandable structures which are simultaneously or sequentially expanded to fill the aneurysmal space and reduce the risk of endoluminal leaks and scaffold migration. The expandable structures are typically inflatable and delivered by delivery catheter, optionally with an inflation tube or structure attached to the expandable structure.

Systems and methods for enclosing an anatomical opening

Implantable therapeutic devices and methods for endovascular placement of devices at a target site, such an opening at a neck of an aneurysm, are disclosed. Selected embodiments of the present technology have closures that at least partially occlude the neck of an aneurysm to stabilize embolic or coagulative treatment of the aneurysm.

Projecting member with barb for cardiovascular devices

A medical implant including an expandable framework configured to shift between a collapsed configuration and an expanded configuration, the expandable framework comprising a plurality of interconnected struts defining a plurality of cells; and an occlusive element connected to the expandable framework and having an inner surface and an outer surface. The expandable framework may include a plurality of securement members projecting from the plurality of interconnected struts. One of the inner surface or the outer surface of the occlusive element may be in contact with the plurality of interconnected struts, and the other of the inner surface and the outer surface not in contact with the plurality of interconnected struts may lie against an opposing surface of each of the plurality of securement members. A tip portion of the plurality of securement members may not extend radially outward of the plurality of interconnected struts.

Extravascular bypass systems and methods

Systems and methods are provided for extravascularly bypassing an occlusion within a patient's blood vessel. An upstream bypass stent may be implanted at an implant site upstream of the occlusion and a downstream bypass stent may be implanted at an implant site downstream of the occlusion, wherein an outlet of the upstream stent and an inlet of the downstream stent are coupled extravascularly to permit blood to extravascularly bypass the occlusion. The upstream stent further may include an additional outlet that directs blood to flow through the occluded blood vessel. A kit including a percutaneous tumescence tunneler for implanting the extravascular bypass system is also provided.
