Treatment instrument
In a treatment instrument, one of a pair of jaws is supported by a supporter while being pivot able around the supporter with respect to the supporter. A drive member moves along a longitudinal axis so that the pair of the jaws are closed with respect to each other, thereby applying an axial force onto an elongated member from the drive member by way of the one of the jaws and the supporter in a direction along the longitudinal axis. A contact surface of the elongated member abuts on a housing when the elongated member moves with respect to the housing under the axial force, thereby suppressing rotation of the elongated member around the longitudinal axis with respect to the housing.
HEMOSTATIC CLAMP
The present disclosure discloses a hemostatic clamp. Two clamping pieces are opened and closed through a ball head pull rod, and a clamping portion at a front end of the hemostatic clamp and a control portion at a rear end are separated through fit of the ball head pull rod with a plastic sleeve and a steel sleeve. Therefore, the hemostatic clamp has the advantages of simple structure, simple operation and high operation stability.
Vessel sealer and divider
An endoscopic bipolar forceps includes a housing and a shaft affixed to the housing. The shaft includes a longitudinal axis defined therethrough and a pair of jaw members attached to a distal end thereof. The forceps also includes a drive assembly for moving one of the jaw members relative to the other jaw member from a first position wherein the movable jaw members are disposed in spaced relation relative to each other to a second position wherein the jaw members are closer one another for manipulating tissue. A movable handle is included which is rotatable about a pivot to force a drive flange of the movable handle into mechanical cooperation with the drive assembly to move the jaw members from the open and closed positions. The pivot is located a fixed distance from the longitudinal axis and the drive flange is located generally along the longitudinal axis. The forceps is connected to a source of electrosurgical energy connected to each jaw member such that the jaw members are capable of conducting bipolar energy through tissue held therebetween to effect a tissue seal.
VIRTUAL REALITY SURGICAL TOOLS SYSTEM

The tool housing having an operative assembly at the distal end of the tool housing, and the tool housing defining a docking assembly at the proximal end of the tool housing. The operative assembly having a fulcrum operably coupled to the tool housing, a first lever operably connected to the fulcrum, an instrument operably coupled to the first lever, and an actuator operably coupled to the tool housing and the first lever.
ENDOSCOPIC DEVICE
The present application provides an endoscopic device having at least one shaft, which has at least one portion deflectable in at least one plane, and having at least one deflection mechanism, which is configured to deflect the deflectable portion of the shaft and includes, arranged in series, at least one first connection member and at least one second connection member interacting for a deflection with the first connection member, and includes at least one flexurally slack control train, which is configured to adjust a deflection of the deflectable portion. At least the second connection member includes at least one connection member main body, which includes a passageway for guiding the control train, and at least one radial opening which is connected to the passageway and via which the control train is insertable into the passageway.
Surgical instrument with slip ring assembly to power ultrasonic transducer
A surgical instrument includes a rotatable electrical coupling assembly having a first part and a second part that electrically couple and rotate relative to each other. The second part is carried by and rotates with a tube collar coupled to a transducer. A portion of the transducer is inserted through an aperture of the second part, but does not contact the second part. The first part of the assembly may electrically couple to the second part via pogo pins, brush contacts, or ball bearings. Alternatively, the first part may comprise conductive channels formed in the casing. The second part may comprise a rotatable drum with a conductive trace. In some versions, one or more components may comprise MID components. In another version, the rotatable electrical coupling assembly comprises a rotatable PC board and brush contact. Further still, a circuit board may be provided with the transducer inside a transducer casing.
INSTRUMENT FOR SURGERY
Provided is an instrument for surgery and, more specifically, to an instrument for surgery which can be manually operated in order to be used for laparoscopic surgery or various types of surgery.
Surgical instrument with modular shaft and end effector
A surgical instrument operable to sever tissue includes a body assembly and a selectively coupleable end effector assembly. The end effector assembly may include a transmission assembly, an end effector, and a rotational knob operable to rotate the transmission assembly and the end effector. The body assembly includes a trigger and a casing having a distal aperture configured to receive a portion of the end effector assembly. First and second coupling mechanism portions cooperatively couple the end effector assembly to the body assembly for use. The coupling may mechanically and/or electrically couple the end effector assembly to the body assembly via various coupling mechanisms. For instance, a threaded slip nut may couple to threads within the body assembly. In one configuration, the end effector assembly may have locking tabs that rotate into rotational recesses in the body assembly. The locking tabs may include electrical contacts and/or optically perceivable indicators.
TRIGGER MECHANISMS FOR SURGICAL INSTRUMENTS AND SURGICAL INSTRUMENTS INCLUDING THE SAME
A trigger assembly of a surgical instrument includes a trigger, a first linkage, a second linkage, and a slider block configured such that moving the manipulation portion in a first direction relative to a housing of the surgical instrument translates the slider block along a longitudinal axis relative to the housing. Another trigger assembly of a surgical instrument includes a trigger and a coupling sphere rotatably captured within a cavity of a retention portion of the trigger such that movement of a manipulation portion of the trigger relative to the housing translates the coupling sphere along the longitudinal axis relative to the housing.
Adjustable Pressure Surgical Clamp with Releasable or Integrated Remote Manipulator for Laparoscopies
A surgical clamp for laparoscopic or endoscopic surgeries provides autonomous adjustable pressure and placement with a releasable or integrated remote manipulator. Two jaws move simultaneously with respect to the main body of the clamp to open and close to secure or release tissue and/or organs. In a first embodiment, the instrument is made up of two separable components; a remote manipulator component, and a releasable adjustable pressure clamp component that is linked or separated at an interlocking connection point. The main body of the clamp includes a central tubular port through which a pressure bar passes. An assembly of cam arms connects the push rod to jaws, allowing for symmetrical and simultaneous actuation. A compression spring is positioned around the pressure bar and is secured by an adjustable nut on the threaded end of the pressure bar. Adjustment varies the compressive force of the spring and thereby the gripping force.
