PERCUTANEOUS TARGETING DEVICE

A percutaneous targeting device comprises a body holding an extension. The body has a target guide holding a target pin which may be a K-wire. The extension has two guide sleeves, holding a guide wire. All wires are held in a common plane. The guide wires serve as a guide for cannulated fixation screws. The extension is movable against the body to adjust the angle between the target pin and the guide wires.

COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS FOR INHIBITION AND INTERRUPTION OF BIOFILM FORMATION

Compositions and methods for inhibiting and interrupting biofilm formation, and for destabilizing established biofilms are provided, the novel compositions including polymeric resins and monomeric non-polymerizable and polymerizable resins. More particularly, the compositions and methods enable the protection and removal of biofilms from surfaces in the context of medical, consumer, domestic, food service, environmental and industrial applications, where the effects constitute beneficial and desirable biofilm attenuating activity.

Bone screws, instrumentation, and methods of using of same

A stylet control system for selectively advancing and retracting a stylet includes a stylet having a first end and a second end, the second end being threaded, a screwdriver defining a bore for receiving a portion of the stylet and having a screw-engaging end for engaging a screw, the stylet being rotationally fixed relative to the screwdriver. The system includes a control device having a passage for receiving the screwdriver and having an inner portion defining a lumen for receiving the portion of the stylet, the inner portion being threaded for engaging the threaded second end of the stylet, when the screwdriver is rotated in the first rotation direction and the control device is prevented from rotating, the screwdriver advances the screw in the first axial direction and the stylet retracts in a second axial direction, opposite the first axial direction.

CANNULATED IMPLANT DELIVERY DEVICE WITH ADJUSTABLE INSERTION DEPTH

A device, system and method for delivery of an implant having an adjustable length. The device is for inserting an implant at an appropriate tissue depth according to a depth finding placeholder, wherein the implant is suitable for insertion to a subject, the device comprising a cannula for receiving the depth finding placeholder and an adjustable depth of insertion element, wherein the adjustable depth of insertion element is adjusted to determine the appropriate tissue depth. The depth finding placeholder may include but is not limited to a wire, such as a K-wire for example. The cannula preferably comprises an opening of sufficient diameter to permit insertion of the depth finding placeholder. The cannula optionally comprises depth indicators, for example by being optionally marked with depth indicator markings. The device preferably comprises a transparent window, or optionally may comprise, additionally or alternatively, an open aperture and/or a viewing screen, to enable the depth indicators to be viewed.

OBLIQUE DIAPHYSEAL OSTEOTOMY SYSTEM FOR METATARSAL SHORTENING
20230027816 · 2023-01-26 ·

An oblique metatarsal shortening osteotomy system comprising a cut guide, wherein the cut guide comprises one or more pre-drilled fixation holes, wherein the cut guide can be placed on a metatarsal bone to enable an oblique shortening osteotomy of varying lengths, and wherein the pre-drilled fixation holes enable fixation of the cut guide to the metatarsal bone. The cut guide may comprise a central block. The cut guide may comprise one or more fixation flanges. The cut guide may comprise one or more slots to enable cuts to be made in a metatarsal. The cut guide may enable metatarsal compression through pre-drilling without need for alternative techniques. Angulation of the pre-drilling may allow for fixation to allow for intramedullary fixation to be placed within a medullary canal of an osteotomized metatarsal.

SPINAL IMPLANT SYSTEM AND METHOD

A method comprises the steps of: fixing a distal end of a first member of a surgical instrument with tissue, the surgical instrument including a second member having a longitudinal passageway configured for disposal of the first member and being connected with a navigation component such that the distal end is disposable with the passageway at a selected distance from the navigation component, the navigation component being positioned relative to a sensor to communicate a signal representative of an orientation of the first member; removing the second member from the first member; and connecting a third member with the first member along the orientation such that a distal end of the third member is fixed with the tissue. Systems, spinal implants, constructs and instruments are disclosed.

MIS OSTEOTOMY GUIDE

A surgical guide includes a body defining a first access port and a second access port. The first access port extends on a first longitudinal access parallel with a first edge of the body and the second access port extends on a second longitudinal access positioned non-parallel with respect to each edge of the body. At least one coupling arm extends from the body. The at least one coupling arm defines at least one fixation aperture sized and configured to receive a fixation element through.

JOINT OSTEOTOMY SYSTEM AND METHOD

A system includes a first spacer sized and configured to be received within a resected bone space of a first bone and a second spacer sized and configured to be coupled to a second bone. The first spacer and the second spacer each include a body extending between a bone contacting surface and a coupling surface. At least one shim is positioned between the first and second spacers. The shim includes a body extending between a first coupling surface and a second coupling surface. The first spacer, the second spacer, and the at least one shim position the first and second bones in a predetermined alignment. An adjustable guide including a guide adapter and a guide body is configured to couple to the first spacer and is adjustable on a first axis.
