A spinal joint distraction system for treating a facet joint including articular surfaces having a contour is disclosed and may include a delivery device including a generally tubular structure adapted to engage a facet joint, an implant adapted to be delivered through the delivery device and into the facet joint, the implant comprising two members arranged in opposed position, and an implant distractor comprising a generally elongate member adapted to advance between the two members of the implant causing separation of the members and distraction of the facet joint, wherein the implant is adapted to conform to the shape of the implant distractor and/or the articular surfaces of the facet upon being delivered to the facet joint. Several embodiments of a system, several embodiments of an implant, and several methods are disclosed including a method for interbody fusion.

Cement mixing and injection system and methods
The present disclosure relates to systems and methods for mixing and injecting fluid treatment, such as cement to treat bone or hard tissue. In some embodiments, a mixing apparatus may facilitate mixing within a syringe. Additionally, the syringe may be configured to extract bone cement from a cement mixer. A syringe for mixing and injecting cement may include a detachable handle that may be detached after extracting bone cement from a mixer to facilitate coupling to a high-pressure syringe for injection.

A method and system for promoting the union of a bone fracture and/or fusion of bones across a joint space at a target region of a subject which may be accomplished by: inserting a surgical implant device at the target region; providing a guide member in the surgical implant device bore; sealing the surgical implant device bore distal opening and/or the surgical implant device bore proximal opening with the guide member; and positioning the guide member relative to the surgical implant device to provide for the guide member to be partially absent from the surgical implant device bore to allow the biomaterial and/or biologically active agents to extrude or diffuse from the activated apertures to the target region of the subject.
Methods of delivering bone cement using an access cannula with valve
Methods of delivering bone cement to within a vertebral body. An access cannula is directed into the vertebral body with a stylet disposed within a tube and extending through a valve in an open position. The stylet is removed from the access cannula such that the valve moves from the open position to a closed position in which the valve prevents egress of fluid from the access cannula. The bone cement is delivered through the access cannula with the valve in the open position. A delivery cannula may be directed into the access cannula, and the bone cement may be delivered through the delivery cannula. The delivery cannula may be prefilled with the bone cement. A bone cement mixer may be coupled to the access cannula and operated to direct the bone cement through the access cannula. Pressure from the bone cement may move the valve to the open position.

The present disclosure is directed to temporary antimicrobial-eluting cement spacer implants, and assemblies, kits, and methods for forming the same. Particularly preferred disclosures are to modular spacers, assemblies, and kits, as well as methods of manufacturing the same, where the modular nature of the spacer permits the selection of specific desired length spacers, as well as specific selection of antimicrobial compounds and dosages, along with the components and processes for forming the same.
SURGICAL SYSTEM AND METHOD
A surgical system includes a sleeve defining a passageway. An adapter is removably coupled to the sleeve. The adapter defines a channel. A delivery device includes a distal end positioned in a channel of the adapter. A bone fastener includes a head and a shank defining a cannula. A distal portion of the adapter is positioned in the shank such that the channel is in communication with a cannula of the shank. A plunger is movably disposed in a lumen of the delivery device. The plunger is configured to move a material through the lumen and the channel and into the cannula. Methods and kits are disclosed.
RADIOFREQUENCY ABLATION OF TISSUE WITHIN A VERTEBRAL BODY
Methods and systems for modulating intraosseous nerves (e.g., nerves within bone) are provided. For example, the methods and systems described herein may be used to modulate (e.g., denervate, ablate) basivertebral nerves within vertebrae. The modulation of the basivertebral nerves may facilitate treatment of chronic back pain. The modulation may be performed by a neuromodulation device (e.g., an energy delivery device).
BIOMATERIAL DISPENSING DEVICE
A device for dispensing biomaterial includes a handle configured to receive a syringe, the syringe including a biomaterial and a threaded plunger, and an engagement pin retained within the handle and slidable between a first position and a second position. The engagement pin is configured to engage the threaded plunger in the first position, the engagement pin is further configured to disengage from the threaded plunger in the second position.
Radiolucent Grasping Device
A device to be used by an operator which may grasp objects in a sterile or non-sterile field, and may facilitate the precise placement and passage of a needle or pin into tissues while using X-ray guidance. The device provides a secure hold while keeping the hands remote from the radiation field, and by permitting non-obstructed viewing of the held instrument and tissues. A radiolucent hammer may be used to help drive a needle into firm tissues without obscuring visualization.
