The present energy treatment device has an insertion part, a pair of arms which are provided in a distal portion of the insertion part and which are capable of performing an opening-closing operation, a treatment member which is attachably and detachably provided in a first arm, a locked part which is provided in a second arm and which is capable of locking the treatment member, and a manipulation part which causes the pair of arms to perform an opening-closing operation, wherein the treatment member includes a knife wire, and a locking member which is positioned with respect to the first arm, being attachable to and detachable from the first arm, and capable of being locked by the locked part, the locked part has a retainer which is capable of holding the locking member with a force stronger than a force of the first arm to hold the locking member.

METHODS AND APPARATUS FOR REMOVAL OF VALVE REPAIR DEVICES

An implantable device or implant is configured to be positioned within a native heart valve to allow the native heart valve to form a more effective seal. The implantable device can be removed using one or more of a cutting device, a capture device, and a stabilization component. The stabilization component can control the position of the implantable device while the cutting device resects one or more of the leaflets to which the implantable device is engaged.

DEVICE AND METHOD FOR TREATMENT OF HEMORRHOIDS USING SUCTION

A device includes a handle having a trigger in combination with a distal portion, the distal portion including a rigid elongated hollow member which receives tissue therein and a plunger fitted with and configured to slide longitudinally within the hollow member to induce suction at a distal end of the hollow member as the plunger is moved proximally within the hollow member. The trigger is hingedly coupled to the plunger so that pulling the trigger slides the plunger proximally with respect to the hollow member to generate suction to draw the tissue into the distal end of the hollow member. The device further includes a tissue treatment mechanism for encircling the tissue received at the distal end of the hollow member.

Expandable devices

Provided herein are expandable devices, rail systems, and motorized devices, in one embodiment, an expandable device comprises an expandable sac having a tool housed therein. The expandable device is optionally configured for operation while inside a body cavity. The expandable device optionally comprises at least one rail in the sac, and at least one railed device coupled to the rail for movement there on. Movement of the railed device on the rail is provided by, for example, a motor such as an electromagnetic motor or an inch-worm type motor. Expandable devices can be used, for example, to perform minimally invasive medical procedures requiring access to a body cavity. Expandable devices can also be used, for example, to provide safe and stable transport of instruments to the body cavity.

Treatment device

A treatment device includes a flexible sheath; a wire configured to be inserted into the sheath; a first treatment member disposed at distal side from the wire; a second treatment member disposed at a distal side from the first treatment member; and a protection member configured to cover the second treatment member when the first treatment member projects from a distal end of the sheath.

MEDICAL SNARE DEVICE

The present invention relates to a medical snare device which can accurately and rapidly cut and remove polyps generated in an organ of the human body, and can minimize bleeding in a part where the polyps are cut and removed, the medical snare device comprising: a main body in which upper/lower guide holes are formed; a rotating body for guiding a polyp removal line and a chemical liquid line; a body entry part for accommodating and protecting the polyp removal line and the chemical liquid line; a polyp removal line operating means for moving the polyp removal line forward/backward; and a chemical liquid line operating means for moving the chemical liquid line forward/backward.

ALL IN ONE BASILICA SYSTEM

A basilica system for use in replacement heart valve implant procedures may include a first catheter including a side port disposed proximal of a distal tip, a conductive guidewire slidably disposed within the first catheter and configured to be advanced out the side port proximate a leaflet of a replacement heart valve implant disposed within a native heart valve of a patient, a second catheter including a lumen extending to a distal end of the second catheter, and a snare shaft slidably disposed within the second catheter, the snare shaft including a wire loop configured to grasp the conductive guidewire. The basilica system may include a delivery catheter. The first and second catheters may be disposed within the delivery catheter. The conductive guidewire may be configured to be electrically coupled to a source of RF energy. The conductive guidewire may be configured to puncture the leaflet.

METHOD, APPARATUS, AND SYSTEM FOR REMOVAL OF LESIONS

Provided herein is a method, apparatus, and system for the removal of benign and malignant lesions, and more particularly, to the use of image analysis and three-dimensional modeling for the excision of skin-based, subcutaneous, or deep lesions with a precise and reproducible margin of tissue around the lesion. Methods include: obtaining images of a tumor within a patient; determining a size and shape of a tissue mass to be resected including the tumor based on the images; generating a three-dimensional model of a resection tool for resecting the tissue mass to be resected based on the size and shape of the tissue mass as well as nearby vital structures and anatomic landmarks; and providing for three-dimensional manufacture of the resection tool.

RETRIEVAL DEVICE AND RELATED METHODS OF USE

A medical device and a method for manipulating a tissue are disclosed. The medical device includes two or more bars, a snare loop and a constricting element. Each bar includes a proximal end, and one or more distal ends, such that the bars are in close proximity at the proximal end. The snare loop maybe coupled to the distal ends of the bars. The constricting element maybe movably coupled to the bars, such that the constricting element expands the snare loop when positioned at the proximal end of the plurality of bars while the constricting element collapses the snare loop when positioned at the distal end of the plurality of bars, thus, keeping the distal end of the snare loop stationary with respect to the tissue.
