MOUTHPIECE-TYPE TEETH-CLEANING METHOD
A mouthpiece-type teeth-cleaning method comprising: generating one or more groups of alternating excitation signals by an excitation source; generating one or more cleaning operations, with different cleaning actions applied to various parts of the teeth, according to the excitation signals; establishing a correlation between the cleaning operation and cleaning action with each part of applied tooth in advance, the correlation enabling each position of the tooth of a user to be individually cleaned. The cleaning method solves the problems that the existing tooth cleaner cannot carry out personalized cleaning on different parts of teeth of a user and cannot really meet the requirements of the Bass method.
ELECTRIC TOOTHBRUSH FOR BRUSHING TEETH VERTICALLY
An electric toothbrush for brushing teeth vertically is disclosed. Forward and backward swing of the brush head (9) is realize through a spatial transmission mechanism to simulate the vertical brush action process of real manual brush brushing. The transmission includes a normal cam (2), a main support (3), a slide block (4), a rolling ball (5), a slide block limiting cylinder (6), a reverse cam cylinder (7) and a transmission housing (8). The input end of the positive cam (2) is sleeved on the rotating shaft of the motor (1), and the output end of the reverse cam cylinder (7) is connected with the brush head (9) of the electric toothbrush. A groove (21) is arranged on the positive cam (2), and the positive cam (2) drives the reverse cam cylinder (7) through the cooperation of the slide block (4) and the ball (5).
BRUSH HEAD FOR AN ORAL CLEANSING DEVICE
A brush head for an oral cleansing device is provided. The brush head may include a shaft and a cantilevered beam positioned within the shaft. The cantilevered beam may be configured to press against a drive shaft of the oral cleansing device to transfer a rotational motion of the drive shaft to the brush head. The cantilevered beam may be formed on an adapter secured within the shaft.
ORAL HEALTHCARE PERSONAL APPLIANCE AND BRUSH HEAD WITH INTEGRATED LIGHT GUIDE ALONG A HOLLOW DRIVE AXIS
An oral healthcare personal appliance (10), configured for use with a removable brush head (20) having a first light guide (28), comprises a handle (16), an actuator (14) with a hollow drive shaft (18), a second light guide (36) disposed co-axially between first and second ends of the hollow drive shaft, a rear stop connection adapter (62) coupled to the second ends of the hollow drive shaft and the second light guide, a light source (66) to emit light into the second light guide, and an optional front stop connection adapter (34) coupled to the first ends of the hollow drive shaft and the second light guide. Physically coupling the brush head to the handle enables both (i) a rotation of the brush head via a rotation of the hollow drive shaft and (ii) a transmission of light from the light source through the second light guide and into the first light guide.

ELECTRIC TOOTHBRUSH THAT PROVIDES HIGHLY EFFECTIVE LONGITUDINAL MOVEMENT AND COMPLETELY ELIMINATES THE RISK OF TRAUMAS CAUSED BY THE FREE END OR TIP OF THE BRUSH
The invention relates to an electric toothbrush provided with longitudinal, also called axial, oscillating movement that occurs at the active end of the bristle plumes, or nylon filaments, without the end or tip of the brush causing potentially traumatic blows, which represent an undesired risk, as still occurs according to the existing prior art.
Electric utility brush having a flexible drive shaft
The present invention is concerned with an electric utility brush having a flexible drive shaft, and in particular an electric toothbrush having a substantially spherical head mounted on the flexible drive shaft and which can be driven rotationally in at least two different orientations in order to provide comprehensive brushing capabilities.
AN ELECTRIC UTILITY BRUSH WITH A DYNAMIC BRUSH HEAD
An electric utility brush with a dynamic brush head which has a rotatable head which is capable of undergoing rotation about two separate axes in order to effect multiple modes of brushing.
Oral care implement
Oral care implement that can be detachably coupled to a handle having a motor. The oral care implement includes a drive assembly to operably engage the motor, a head portion that includes a body, a first carrier comprising a plurality of bristle tufts extending from the first carrier, the first carrier comprising a central passageway; and a second carrier disposed within the central passageway of the first carrier, the second carrier comprising an elastomeric cleaning element extending from the second carrier. The drive assembly may be operably coupled to each of the first and second carriers and configured to: (1) produce a first oscillatory motion of the first carrier about a first rotational axis; and (2) produce a second oscillatory motion of the second carrier, the second oscillatory motion being counter to the first oscillatory motion.
Electric toothbrush
An electric toothbrush of the present invention includes: a case having first and second drive shafts exposed therefrom, the first and second drive shafts being rotated in opposite directions and moved forward and backward respectively by a drive unit which is driven by a motor; first and second toothbrush bodies coupled to the first and second drive shafts by first and second coupling units respectively, so as to transmit the rotational force and forward and backward motions of the first and second drive shafts; a brush installed at the ends of the first and second toothbrush bodies so as to clean teeth by the rotational force and forward and backward motions transmitted to the first and second toothbrush bodies; and a third toothbrush body having an auxiliary brush, which is coupled to a third drive shaft of the drive unit installed in the case.
