POWER TOOTHBRUSH WITH A MODULATED DRIVE SIGNAL
A power toothbrush includes a handle portion having a drive system therein for moving a set of bristles with a frequency and amplitude to produce clinically effective cleaning results. A modulation system modulates the drive signal by changing the frequency or duty cycle of the drive signal with a frequency varying modulation signal. The modulation frequency will increase from the start to the conclusion of a brushing event for cognitive stimulation while the modulation frequency will decrease between the start and conclusion of a brushing event for cognitive relaxation.
Angled-head rotary cleaning device for dental purposes
An angled-head rotary cleaning device for dental purposes includes a plastic housing having an elongated neck portion that defines a sleeve with a wall. The neck portion includes a first end and a second end. The plastic housing has a head portion coupled to the first end of the neck portion and angled relative to the neck portion. The cleaning device also includes an elongated light guiding element having a light entry portion to receive light, and a light exit portion to emit light. At least a portion of the light guiding element is accommodated within the wall of the neck portion.
DEVICES AND ROTATIONAL COMPONENTS THEREOF AND RELATED METHODS
Devices and head components that include a band component and one or more rotational components are provided. Devices and head components that include one or more fluid driven rotational components are provided. Related methods are also provided.
Bristle driven pulsation
An electric toothbrush having bristle driven pulsation includes a brush head having a bristle holder and bristle tufts attached to the bristle holder. The bristle tufts and corresponding bristles are disposed at a perpendicular and/or a non-perpendicular angle with respect to a mounting surface of the brush head. The electric toothbrush also includes an electric toothbrush handle removably attached to the brush head. The electric toothbrush handle includes a linear motor configured to drive the bristle holder via a gearing structure coupled to the linear motor and the bristle holder. The linear motor causes the bristle holder to rotate clockwise and counterclockwise at a rotation frequency which exceeds a rotation frequency threshold (e.g., 100 Hz, 120 Hz, etc.). The linear motor also causes the brush head to vibrate in a direction toward and away from a contact surface in synchronization with the rotation of the bristles.
ATTACHMENT FOR AN ORAL CARE DEVICE HANDLE
An oral care device attachment for being coupled to an oral care device handle having an essentially cylindrical drive shaft coupling end. The attachment has an outer attachment tube having a coupling end for being detachably secured at a housing of the device handle. A carrier is mounted for driven motion at the outer attachment tube. A motion transmitter is disposed inside the outer attachment tube and has a first end coupled with the carrier and a second end arranged for coupling with the essentially cylindrical drive shaft coupling end. The second end has a coupling unit having a top plate and at least one at least partly deformable and essentially cylindrical wall element extending from the top plate, or at least two elastic or deflectable wall elements extending from the top plate, respectively. Each of the elastic or deflectable wall elements extends over a portion of a virtual receiver cylinder, so that an essentially cylindrical receiver receptacle is defined by the top plate and the one at least partly deformable essentially cylindrical wall element or by the top plate and the at least two elastic or deflectable wall elements.
Device for Brushing Teeth and Stimulating Gums
The disclosed device is a power or electrical toothbrush having a central drive motor power at least one shaft using a loop. There are at least 2 to four shafts that support removable drums having brush bristles. The two to four shafts are rotated with ribbon connection to at least one central shaft. The drums are removable and represent the brush head of the disclosed device.
ELECTRIC ORAL CLEANING TOOL
An electric oral cleaning tool, including: a housing, a transmission rod, and a brush head assembly. The brush head assembly is rotatably connected to an end of the housing, and a functional element is arranged on a side of the brush head assembly; a movable disk is arranged on another side of the brush head assembly, and the movable disk has a mating area offset from a center of the brush head assembly. The transmission rod is arranged in the housing and has an input end and an output end; the input end is configured to be connected to a transmission mechanism, and the output end is matched with the mating area; in condition of the output end moving with a variable diameter relative to a center of the movable disk, the output end drives the mating area and the brush head assembly to rotate.
FLEXIBLE ELECTRONIC TOOTHBRUSH DEVICE
A flexible electronic toothbrush device includes a toothbrush that has a handle, a tube extending away from the handle and a mounting head attached to the tube. The tube has a flexible portion which is biased into a gentle curve. A brushing head is removably attachable to the mounting head for brushing a user's teeth. A drive unit is integrated into the toothbrush for rotating the brushing head rotated back and forth to brush the user's teeth in a motion preferred by dental health professionals. A straightening unit is movably integrated into the toothbrush for straightening the tube. In this way the straightening unit orients the brushing head at a preferred orientation for brushing the user's teeth without requiring the user to position their shoulder in an orientation that the user cannot achieve.
DENTAL CLEANING DEVICE
Dental cleaning device comprising a handle, a mouthpiece connected or connectable to said handle, a set of brush heads carried by the mouthpiece and configured for cleaning, during a use condition of said dental cleaning device, the user's teeth. The set of brush heads includes a front module configured to clean at least the user's incisor teeth, said front module being movable by a first motion, said first motion including a translation motion or a rotational motion around a front module axis external to said front module or a roto-translation motion. The set of brush heads also includes at least a couple of back modules configured to clean at least the user's molar teeth, each of said back modules being movable by a respective second motion including a rotational motion around a respective back module rotation axis passing through the respective back module.
Electrical body care brush
An attachment brush part for an electrical body care brush, in particular an electrical toothbrush, includes brush head with an in particular circular bristle carrier, on which a bristle field with a plurality of bristle bundles each with a plurality of care bristles is arranged.
